Love Island 2023 has officially finished - but don't worry there's the exciting Love Island reunion to look forward to.
Winter Love Island came to play in 2023. Officially kicking off on January 15, viewers were introduced to an all new Love Island cast, plus the arrival of new host Maya Jama - who made her presenting debut after Laura Whitmore quit following two series at the helm. Filmed in South Africa, viewers have been enviously watching the sunny action of the villa for a few weeks now, with favourites like farmer Will Young quickly emerging. Though this being said, there's still some time left for couples to fall in and out of favour.
Viewers recently enjoyed the aftermath of Casa Amor, which is usually a sign that the grand final is not too far off. With this in mind we've shared when Winter Love Island end and what we know of the final and favourites to win so far. And if you're wondering what you're going to watch now that Love Island has finishes, ITV have confirmed a brand new show that everyone's calling 'Love Island for grown ups'.
When does Love Island 2023 finish?
Applause Store have confirmed that the Love Island Winter Grand Final 2023 will take place on Monday 13 March, 2023. The ticketing site states that guests should arrive by 20:30 in time for the 9pm start.
This confirmation date via Applause Store certainly matches what Love Island's voiceover star Iain Stirling said in the opening episode of the winter edition. He told viewers that the show will go on for 2 months - which, when calculated, also makes the final date as March 13.
Previous Love Island finals have always taken place on a Monday, following 8 weeks of fun in the sun. Take the 2022 series as an example, which started on Monday 6 June and ended on Monday 1 August 2022. Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu were crowned your winners and thankfully they remain one of the Love Island couples that are still together today.
Similarly the 2021 summer edition of Love Island lasted eight weeks with Liam Reardon and Millie Court announced as the winning couple on Monday 23 August. Though the two sadly confirmed their split on July 13, 2022 after just under a year together.
The length of Winter Love Island 2023 was initially a subject of hot debate. A source told The Sun: "There was speculation that the current series might only run for six weeks as that was the format for the first Winter Love Island outing in 2020.
"By the same token, there was talk last year that the summer series could be extended as ratings were so impressive thanks to the likes of Ekin-Su and Davide."
The same source went on to clarify to the publication that this year's Love Island will follow the same length as the ones before.
Where is the Love Island final?
This year's Winter Love Island final takes place live at the same villa in South Africa. This differs from the summer series of Love Island 2022 which is filmed in Majorca.
The Love Island final usually consists of highlights of the couple’s last day in the villa, including sweet speeches to each other and a romantic dance, as well as their last dates. Maya will then chat to those who have left Love Island this series, plus the finalists live from the villa, with a lively audience in tow.
Can you get tickets to the Love Island final?
Yes you can currently register for tickets to the Winter Love Island final. You'll need to either be living in South Africa or on holiday in Cape Town for when the final takes place on March 13.
You can make your application via Applause Store for the last episode of Winter Love Island 2023. But please note you are not guarenteed a ticket when you apply. If you haven't received an e-ticket 24 hours in advance of the show, sadly you've been unsuccessful on this occasion.
"Some of our shows are incredibly popular, so all tickets are sent at random," Applause Store state of their ticket policy.
You must be over 18 to apply for tickets, and no cameras are allowed in the studio. But you do get to see the islanders close up in the flesh.

Tickets for the final of summer Love Island have previously been organised with FeelSummer - a company that specialises in event planning and packages in Cancun, Zrce Beach, Magaluf, Zante, Malia and Kavos. However, with Winter Love Island set in South Africa (and not Spain), tickets for the final are being organised via a different provider.
Who are favourites to win Love Island 2023?
According to Paddy Power, Jessie and Will are currently the favourite couple to win this year's Winter Love Island. The couple are closely followed by other favourites lLana Jenkins and Ron Hall and Samie Elishi and Tom Clare.
"Jessie Wynter and Will Young appear to be back on track and heading for Love Island glory after some recent ups and downs," says James Leyfield of Gambling.com.
"The pair are odds-on with betting sites to triumph in the series after Jessie forgave the farmer for kissing Layla Al-Momani during Casa Amor, and then again after she had to watch the footage during last week's Movie Night."
