Pippa Middleton marries James Matthews in idyllic church ceremony

What a dress!

Pippa Middleton has married her partner James Matthews in a romantic church ceremony.

Pippa, the sister of Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, tied the knot with hedge fund manager James in a service held at St Marks' Church in Englefield, Berkshire, in front of an estimated 300 guests, with many members of the Royal Family in attendance.

The bride arrived in a vintage car, wearing a bespoke Giles Deacon dress and classic veil, before walking down the aisle with her father Michael by her side.

Kate looked on proudly as her children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, joined the bridal party as pageboy and bridesmaid respectively.

Wearing adorable coordinating outfits with shades of white and green, the twosome looked adorable as they were pictured entering and leaving the venue with the other pageboys and bridesmaids.

Princes William and Harry were also present, as well as Pippa's brother James Middleton, and James' brother Spencer Matthews.

Mother of the bride Carole Middleton, meanwhile, chose a pale pink ensemble with an elegant fascinator to watch her daughter tie the knot.

Eagle-eyed observers have spotted that Pippa paid a touching tribute to her sister, by choosing to wear the same pear-cut diamond drop earrings that she wore for the occasion of Kate's wedding in 2011.

The earrings are thought to be gifts from the sister's parents, as Kate has her own set from the same designer, and both pairs were commissioned for her ceremony at Westminster Abbey when she married Prince William.

James, 41, popped the question to Pippa, 33, during a trip to the Lake District, with the pair confirming their engagement through a statement to the Press Association back in July 2016.

'Miss Pippa Middleton and Mr James Matthews are delighted to announce they became engaged on Sunday 17th July and plan to marry next year,' the announcement read.

Upon becoming James' wife, Pippa inherits an aristocratic title, as his father David Matthews currently holds the title of Laird of Glen Affric and owns the estate in the Scottish highlands. However, the couple will only be known as Laird and Lady Glen Affric after his death.

It's been said that many details of the wedding paid tribute to James' Scottish heritage; according to the Daily Mail, the menu for the reception, held at the Middleton home, includes haggis canapes, Scottish lamb and whisky with entertainment from a piper and a Spitfire flypast.
