Jamelia reveals she has given birth to her third child

Lovely news!

Loose Women panellist and pop singer Jamelia has announced that she has given birth to her third child.

The 36-year-old star took to Instagram to share the happy news with her fans. Posting a touching photograph of the new arrival cradled to her chest, Jamelia shared her relief at finally being able to hold her new baby after what has clearly been a difficult pregnancy for the star.

'13 weeks after being told to prepare ourselves for the worst,' Jamelia began the post.

'On the 13th of December, after drawing on and surrounding ourselves with every ounce of faith & positivity we could find, we have been abundantly blessed with the absolute best,' she wrote. 'God. Is. Oh. So. Good.'

Jamelia's fans and followers rushed to congratulate the star after she shared her joy over the new arrival.

'Blessings to you and your beautiful family. This post truly warmed my heart,' wrote one fan, while another added: 'What a relief! Enjoy this time together with your family.'

Another fan described the newest member of Jamelia's family as the best Christmas gift ever, saying: 'The loveliest way to end the year. A very welcome little bundle of joy.'

Jamelia, who is already mum to two daughters named Teja, who is 15, and Tiana, who is 10, has chosen not to reveal the gender or name of her new baby just yet - so we don't know whether she has welcomed a third girl into her family, or a brand new baby brother for her two daughters.

The singer didn't announce she was expecting another baby until she was six months pregnant. Opening up about her pregnancy after the announcement, the star revealed that her third pregnancy has been 'very up and down.'

'It's been very up and down and it's really affected me,' she said. 'At one stage, my husband told me to get off Twitter because I get so passionate and so involved.'
