  • A dad has penned an angry post on social media after being forced to change his baby daughter's nappy on a ‘disgusting’ floor in the men’s toilets.

Chris Boneyard Mau shared a snap on Facebook of his little girl lying on a grotty floor of a public bathroom, expressing his astonishment that there are no changing tables in the men’s loos, despite it being ‘the generation of equality among genders’.

He said: ‘I’m getting pretty sick of having to change my daughter on a disgusting floor because the only changing table in the place is located in the women’s bathroom.

‘It’s crazy to imagine I know but there are guys who take care of their kids too… If it’s a public place with public restrooms in the generation of equality among genders and races then how about making sure us fathers can change our children’s diapers on a goddamn changing table like the mother’s can. Am I asking too much?’

Many dads agreed with him, with one commenting: ‘This s**t drives me crazy beyond belief and it’s everywhere.’

While plenty of mums also agreed that changing tables should be in every public bathroom.

One said: ‘Ugh! I agree. I had to stop at a gas station to change my daughter and even I had to change her on the floor! Cause no changing table… They need to be everywhere!’

Another said: ‘I would have changed her right in a dining table! When the mgr showed up I would have told him to put his bare azz on the bathroom floor!!! Orrr I would have gotten a female employee to stand with the door open so I could use the ladies room changing table. Sorry for your inconvenience and bless you for being a great dad.’

Chris later updated his post to explain he had no other choice but to change his daughter on the floor after he was quizzed as to why he didn’t use his car or somewhere more private.

He explained: ‘(Edit) the circumstances of the situation left very little options for privacy, I had taken her for a walk when this happened so there was no car and the only counter space was a 3 inch gap between the 2 sinks.’

Chris’ complaint has since gone viral with over 107,000 shares on Facebook alone.
