The brand new dating show has already piqued viewers' interest, and many want to know where My Mum, Your Dad is filmed.

Previously referred to as 'Love Island for single parents', My Mum, Your Dad is ITV's latest reality dating show that sees single parents in their 40s and 50s search for a new romantic connection. It's hosted by Davina McCall, who thought up the idea and pitched it, previously telling Stephen Bartlett on his podcast The Diary of a CEO: "I could fill a villa in Love Island with middle-aged people with the best backstories you have ever heard in your life...They’re like interesting people. I’d watch that show."

So while the start of Married at First Sight UK 2023 and the confirmed commissioning of Love Island: All Stars has got many reality dating show fans excited, My Mum, Your Dad is dominating the conversation - and everyone wants to know where it's filmed.

Where is My Mum, Your Dad filmed? 

My Mum, Your Dad is filmed in a countryside mansion in Midhurst, West Sussex. The house is reported to be worth a whopping £8million, and sits within 45 acres of land which encompasses two swimming pools, a gym, a sauna, a tennis court, a spa, and a hot tub. 

Though the exact location hasn't been confirmed by ITV, the luxury mansion looks a lot like Viola House, a property located in the same area. The house is believed to date back to the 18th century, and has 11 bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

Davina McCall, who hosts the show, previously described the manor as "The most romantic countryside location", but locals have already given the property a cheeky nickname: 'Viagra House' - referencing the age of the contestants who are taking part.

What is My Mum, Your Dad?

My Mum, Your Dad is a new reality dating show that sees single parents aged in their 40s and 50s move in together and start dating over a period of 10 days. The series has previously been referred to as 'Love Island for the middle-aged'.

But there's a twist, as (unbeknownst to the contestants) their children will be watching their progress from a surveillance room known as 'The Bunker', where they will also be able to make some decisions regarding their parents' love life.

In a statement, ITV says of the show: "From humorous moments to heartwarming confessions, the kids will see their parents in a whole new light as they are presented with opportunities to select who they’ll be matched with on one-to-one dates, and who may join the family celebrations for years to come.

"Get the tissues at the ready as we witness the highs and the lows, the tears and the funny moments, of finding love again."

Meanwhile, host Davina McCall said, "I’m so so excited to host My Mum, Your Dad - this show will have you so invested in the people in it. Fascinating, vibrant individuals who have lived incredible lives already, with a million life lessons under their belts, as they search for their perfect life partner. But also with the juiciest twist of any show I’ve ever worked on."

My Mum, Your Dad will air on weeknights at 9pm on ITV1, and each episode is one hour long. The series started on Monday 11 September and will run on consecutive weeknights for two weeks, with all episodes available to catch up on ITVX too.

Season 5 of Love Island USA filmed in Fiji, with the villa found on a stretch of beach boasting views of the Mamanuca islands. 

The 45,000-square-foot villa was purpose built for the show, taking the production team seven weeks to build. In a sneak peek tour of the season 5 villa, host Sarah Hyland can be seen giving a tour of the latest place - and let’s just say it’s pretty pimped. Referring to the outstanding location as an "upgrade", Sarah says "wait until you see the magic that our production designer Richard Jenson has created." 

The presenter shows off sun loungers overlooking the sea, and the Sunset Nook where Islanders can watch the sun go down… among other activities. The luxurious beds in the bedroom are all grouped together for extra cosiness, although a private lounge named Vibe Check also has its own equally private bed. Meanwhile, The Spicy Room for the girls has been laid out with individual makeup stations that cosmetics aficionados everywhere would love to transport to their own homes. 

Speaking to Buzzfeed, Sarah spoke about the effort that went into building the villa. She said "I don't think the fans know how hard art production and props worked - just what goes on behind the scenes to make the villa, it's so amazing. These people are so talented."

She added "That's why I talk about the villa a lot, because just the crew, the art department, and everything that goes into making the villa is hundreds of people working nonstop to create it. And the villa this year is going to be epic. It is massive. We have new features in it and it is on the beach in Fiji."

Where was season 1 of Love Island USA filmed?

Season 1 of Love Island USA was also filmed in Fiji, but in a different purpose built villa to that created for season 5. 

Offering their reasons for choosing Fiji as a location at the time, CBS bosses suggested Fiji "meant something to Americans" and "feels like a place you would want to come and fall in love." It's also thought the 16-hour time difference between Fiji and New York came into play with the decision, giving editors enough time to edit the footage prior to broadcast. 

An early edition of the UK version of Celebrity Love Island was held on the island of Fiji, before moving to the current home of Mallorca. With the US version opening in the same place, the location could also be a nod to the British roots of the show, along with the romantic vibes it brings. 

Where was season 2 of Love Island USA filmed?

Season 2 of Love Island USA was filmed in Las Vegas at Caesars Entertainment's boutique hotel, The Cromwell. 

Filming was forced to relocate from Fiji to Las Vegas due to the pandemic for season 2, with a villa being fashioned at the top of The Cromwell as a replacement. Overlooking the Las Vegas strip, the 25,000-sq. ft. rooftop space was usually Drai's beach club and nightclub before being taken over by the contestants. 

Production designer Richard Jensen who designed the season 5 villa, had once again been on hand to transform the space into an iconic Love Island location. For anyone wishing to stay at the hotel, rates begin at £88 for the night, rising to over £450 per night depending on room size and time of year. 

Where was season 3 of Love Island USA filmed?

Production moved again for season 3 of Love Island USA, this time to the Grand Naniloa Hotel in Hilo, Hawaii.

According to Hawaii News Now, the production company behind the show booked the entire Grand Naniloa Hotel in Hilo for the summer of filming. State Film Commissioner Donne Dawson was delighted when this happened, as the Naniloa was due to have its lease terminated because of unpaid rent - the hotel had suffered a serious blow after of pandemic closures.

Ed Bushor, CEO of Tower Development and managing partner of WHR, explained the hotel had been between 20 to 40% capacity during the pandemic. However, by featuring on Love Island USA, he said "The entire community of Hilo is not going to know what hit them with 1,000 people coming into town for this bubble," adding that the $6 million income from the series meant hotel owners could immediately pay off their $615,000 in unpaid rent and remain open. 

Where was Love Island USA season 4 filmed?

Love Island USA season 4 filmed at the Dos Pueblos Ranch in Santa Barbara, California. 

The Casa Grande building forming part of the ranch was transformed into the show's iconic villa. A popular wedding venue in the area, the site is surrounded by beaches and cliffs, with a rich history of tales surrounding it dating back to 1542. However, locals were unhappy with the area of natural beauty being used as a filming location.

Concerns were raised regarding increased vehicle traffic, and bright lights late at night acting as a disturbance. One local said "Pretty much anybody who’s familiar with environmental safety and protection of habitat resources at night knows that’s a big no-no," of the lights, which could have impacted the ranch's nocturnal wildlife. Those living in the area might have been heaving sighs of relief when filming returned to Fiji.

In the UK, it's free to watch Love Island USA on ITVX. There is usually a delay however, between episodes airing in the USA before they make their way to the UK.

ITVX was an on-demand streaming service launched in December 2022, that takes content from ITV1 and also ITV digital channels. It features exclusive programming, with some shows streaming there first, before landing on ITV.

The Summer Love Island reunion will air on ITV2 on Sunday, 6th August, according to Applause Store which has limited availability remaining on audience tickets. Filming is taking place at BBC Elstree Studios, Borehamwood, on the outskirts of London.

It follows the same schedule as the Winter Love Island series which saw its reunion show air three weeks after the final. Presented by host Maya Jama, the show will be shining a spotlight on what the 2023 islanders have been up to since the grand final.

"It promises to be packed to the rafters with even more gossip direct from the Islanders themselves, exclusive interviews and a celebrity panel desperate to have their say on all things Love Island," according to Audience Store, who have released tickets for the event. They've also confirmed that all islanders will be in attendance.

One fan wrote on X platform (the new name for Twitter) "I’m more excited for the reunion than the love island final."

Another fan put, "Imagine Scott and Catherine come to the reunion together Abi would go mental."

And a third fan wrote, "This reunion is going to be MESSY."

Fans are certainly excited to see the Summer Love Island cast reunite - with drama expected more so than during the Aftersun filming.

Where is the Love Island reunion being filmed?

The Love Island reunion 2023 is being filmed at the BBC Elstree Studios, in Borehamwood, London. There'll be a live audience for the show and you can sign up to be in the audience for the night.

Who won Love Island 2023?

Jess Harding and Sammy Root were crowned the winners of Summer Love Island 2023. The handsome couple agreed to split the £50,000 prize after the result which shocked and divided some fans.

Obviously there are going to be some that disagree with the result, some arguing another couple should have taken home the £50,000 prize, while others said that Jess and Sammy's success was down to the love for her and they wished that 'Split or Steal' was still a thing, so she could have taken all the cash.

But since jetting back to a cold England, Jess has yet to address any of the negativity or opinions surrounding her and Sammy's win. But she's got her phone back and has been on Instagram to thank fans. Sharing a picture of them together in the villa, she wrote, "Thank you to everyone who have supported both of us through this amazing journey. Absolutely no words."

Sammy said of their win, "It feels amazing, it’s hard to have any words for it really but it’s very surreal."

The pair have confirmed that they're going to keep the relationship going outside the villa. 

"I feel like I’m ready to enjoy the outside world with Sammy, it’s been an amazing opportunity and I am grateful to start it and finish it as a winner so very happy," said Jess. 

Sammy added, "It’s been a very very long journey and I’ve enjoyed every step of the way, the best two months of my life. It’s exciting for us to crack on on the outside."

Meanwhile, although some fans were gutted that Whitney and Lochan finished their Love Island journey in second place, they've still got support from fans. One wrote, "Still my winners" while another fans were gutted about the video glitch, which failed to show their best moments.

"Bit unfair their video didn’t play! Could have corrected it and shown after Jesse and Sammy spoke!"

While a third fan agreed, "I was sad they didn’t get their video of their journey."

When is Big Brother coming back in 2023?

Big Brother is coming back to screens when it relaunches in early October ITV has confirmed, with the exact date yet to be revealed. The new official eye logo was unveiled during last night's Love Island final as producers teased its new look.

Super TV announced, "BREAKING IT IS OFFICIAL! Your first look at the BRAND NEW Big Brother eye for the upcoming series - airing on ITV2 and ITVX this October. Catch a first look at the eye in action across ALL ITV channels, in a BB takeover airing tonight during the #Loveisland final."

The reality show, which is returning with its original format onto a new channel ITV2 and ITVX from 2023 was tipped to be airing in March but the show has been delayed due to a busy schedule of programming. Shows such as Winter Love Island and I'm A Celebrity filmed in South Africa will air during the first half of the year instead.

ITV confirmed, "The Ultimate Social Experiment returns this autumn as footage from the house will be live streamed into the small hours every night on ITVX, after both Big Brother and it’s sibling show air on ITV2."

And fans will be wondering where is the Big Brother house?

An ITV spokesperson previously told MailOnline, "Owing to the influx of big reality TV programming on air during the first half of 2022 we have taken the decision to move the transmission of Big Brother to a more prominent slot in the Autumn. 

"This gives our viewers a whole calendar of big reality TV formats across the year."

The broadcaster previously confirmed that it will see a new cast of "carefully selected housemates, from all walks of life" take up residency in the Big Brother house for up to six weeks.

The statement reads, “A new cast of carefully selected housemates, from all walks of life, will take up residence in the world’s most famous reality TV home for up to six weeks, with cameras capturing their every move, and the nation following every twist and turn.

"The action will all play out under the roof of the iconic Big Brother house, which will be given its own contemporary new look ready for this reimagining of the show.

“Clever tasks, nail-biting nominations and live evictions will be back, with the public once again playing a crucial role, voting throughout the series and ultimately determining the winner, who will walk away with a life changing cash prize.”

And Paul Mortimer, Director of Reality Commissioning & Acquisitions and Controller, ITV2, ITVBe and CITV added, "This refreshed, contemporary new series of Big Brother will contain all the familiar format points that kept viewers engaged and entertained the first time round, but with a brand new look and some additional twists that speak to today’s audience. We’re beyond excited to bring this iconic series to ITV2 and ITVX where it should especially engage with our younger viewers.” 

How to watch Big Brother 2023?

It's understood that Big Brother is set to air nightly, Sundays to Friday 9-10pm, from early October, its companion show hosted by AJ & Will to air 10pm and ITVX to air two hours live feed every night. 

What is Big Brother?

Big Brother is a reality TV show that puts contestants under 24-hour surveillance in a home with no contact to the outside world. They must live together for around six weeks, and the object of the competition between the house mates is to be the last remaining house mate in the house. 

A variety of tasks, challenges put the house mates through their paces - with sparks often flying as personalities clash and romances ignite. At least one house mate will leave the house every week by a process of nomination and public eviction.

When the final week arrives, the viewers vote for which of the remaining housemates should win the series, and the housemate with the most votes becomes the winner. The prize fund has varied throughout the series, ranging from £50,000 to £150,000.

The show made its debut back in 2000 with Davina McCall as host, it aired on Channel 4 until 2010 before moving to Channel 5 from 2011 to 2018.

Speaking about co-hosting alongside Will Best, AJ said, "I’m so excited to finally be able to say that, yes: I’m hosting Big Brother! I couldn’t be happier. Following in the footsteps of some of my favourite broadcasting legends to front such an iconic show is an absolute honour – and to do it alongside my amazing friend Will is the icing on the cake.”

Will added, “I grew up with Big Brother so getting a chance to host it with my mate AJ is a dream come true. I can’t wait to tell some housemates not to swear.”

When are the Big Brother 2023 auditions?

Applications for Big Brother 2023 have already closed - entries had to be in before June 30th after the show made the audition announcement on its official Instagram account. Show bosses uploaded an advertisement and captioned it, "Think you've got what it takes to be a great housemate? Applications are open until 30th June 2023."

Kate Lawler, winner of the 2002 series of Big Brother, gave an insight into what it took to land her a place in the house two decades ago, telling OK! magazine, "First of all you have to send in an application form that's like 64 pages long and send a video of yourself."

Describing the process as "like a psychology test", she added, "They'd be like, 'Look at this picture and tell me what you see, draw a picture of your house, what are your three favourite songs, what are your three favourite movies'."

What is the Big Brother theme tune?

The official Big Brother theme tune was written and produced by Paul Oakenfold and Andy Gray under the name Elementfour. It featured on every UK series and reached number 4 in the September 2000 single charts, where it stayed in the charts for 16 weeks becoming Paul Oakenfold's most successful track released.

In 2018 the song was re-mixed for the opening show but Paul has been involved in this remix, bringing the track up to date.

In 2011 Paul told Digital Spy,"Of course I was. I'm very proud of my track and it's become quite an iconic piece of music."

Where is the Big Brother house?

The Big Brother house is technically not a real house but the studio build set had a homely feel about it - complete with the usual features, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and outside garden. For the first two series, the house was located in Bow, London, near the 3 Mills Studios but when planning permission expired it had to be moved to Elstree Studios, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire in 2002.

Here it remained until it was demolished in January 2019 - two months after the conclusion of the nineteenth and final series. This means the 2023 series will have an entirely new house. 

Each year the house got a revamp, with new look and features plus new decor and furniture but on 17 February 2019, former presenter Emma Willis posted a picture to her Instagram showing that demolition work on the house was complete.

Kady was coupled up with Scott Thomas for the duration of her time on Love Island, and she set her sights on him when she first entered the villa.

Scott was initially coupled up with Zara Holland, before moving on to Kady. He also went on a date with Tina Stinnes while he and Kady were coupled up, resulting in a feud between the two women - though they eventually became friends.

Speaking of the proposal, Fred told GMB viewers, "It was perfect because she said yes. That's the main thing. The only thing though is I did not get a ring. But I've now managed to do it because we are out of lockdown, so the ring is there, and she is very happy. So all is well!"

Speaking about dating his other half, Fred said in an interview with The Sun, "She's a fun girl and she makes me laugh. We just enjoy each other's company, we enjoy walking and all sorts of stuff, like everybody else, it's easy - very simple and very straightforward."

Fruitcake has her own Instagram account named fruitcake_fundamentals, where her name remains a mystery, but she shares affordable high street fashion buys. The fashionista shares clothing advice for those with fuller figures and a bigger bust, as well as where to find budget clothing that looks premium. There's also plenty of snaps featuring her life and adventures with husband-to-be, Fred. 

The pair had planned to marry in 2021, but cancelled as some family were finding it difficult to travel due to ongoing coronavirus restrictions as the wedding was planned to take place in Jamaica.

At the time he said, "Well we are waiting to see when we can travel as it's important to have friends and family there. We have to be patient and see what is going to happen – it is out of our control." 

Although Fred suggested the wedding would take place in 2022, there has been no announcement from either Fred or Fruitcake, that a wedding has gone ahead.  

Who is Fred Sirieix's daughter?

Fred's daughter is 17-year-old Team GB diver Andrea Sirieix, whom he shares with former partner Alex Spendolini. He also has a son, 13-year-old Lucien, with Alex.

Andrea is a Tokyo 2020 Olympic diving finalist, and a 2022 Commonwealth, European, and Junior World Champion. As well as sharing her diving triumphs with her 30,000 Instagram followers, she also features regularly on her father's account. Andrea has been training to be a diver from the age of eight, making the Olympic team at the age of 16. 

Although Lucien features less frequently on Fred's Instagram, he did once share a video of the pair boxing together. He captioned the moment "Meanwhile my boy is working hard to take my head off. Not today son!" A fan commented on the post, saying "Loving this! Boxing is such a life/art/skill/lesson. Your lovely son will remember you teaching him all these areas and the time you spend together for ever." 

Is Fred Sirieix a chef?

Although Fred went to catering college to pursue his passion for pastry, he opted for a front-of-house position at the last minute, and hasn’t “looked back since”.

In an interview with The Guardian, the 51-year-old said: “When you’re a chef, you’re an artist. There’s a lot of creativity. But there’s a lot of repetition, too. 

“And as much as I understand the value of repetition in order to master a skill, this is not something that I wanted to do and I thought I could embrace and enjoy and have fun doing. I thought it was just going to kill me.”

Fred has worked with some incredible chefs in his career, including Michel Roux Jnr, Gino D’Campo and Gordon Ramsay. 

How much is Fred Sirieix worth?

Fred Sirieix is thought to be worth in excess of £1million. His customer service company, The Art of Service Ltd, is thought to turn over around £500,000 a year.

ITV has announced a brand new dating show for single parents - and everyone's calling it 'Love Island for grown ups'.

Following the Love Island final, fans of reality TV have been left with hole in their viewing schedule - save for the Love Island reunion, of course. Luckily, ITV have already set the wheels in motion for a brand new dating show, and it's being hailed as 'Love Island for grown ups'.

While the Love Island cast are always in their 20s - or some even as young as 19 - this new show is only open to single parents who's children are at least 18 years old. Now, ITV have announced the show's host, and we've got the details on everything else there is to know...

What is 'Love Island for grown ups'?

ITV's upcoming dating show The Romance Retreat is being called 'Love Island for grown ups', as it brings together single parents from an older demographic to that of the current Love Island with the goal of finding love.

ITV has said: "The fresh new dating format follows nominated single parents, from all over the UK, and from all walks of life, as they live together at a stunning country house with one objective: to find true love. Get the tissues at the ready as we witness the highs and the lows, the tears and the funny moments, of finding love again."

The Romance Retreat - which is a working title - has been backed by current Love Island host Maya Jama, who said when appearing on ITV's This Morning earlier this year that she thinks Love Island should be for "all ages," adding, "Get them all in, get the nans and grandads… maybe next time."

Who will host The Romance Retreat?

It has been officially confirmed that former Big Brother host Davina McCall will present The Romance Retreat.

Announcing the news on Instagram, Davina wrote to her followers, "Omg.. i manifested and it came true !! I’ll be hosting a brand NEW grown up dating series for ITV1 !!"

She added: "This is a show for single parents who have lived a life , have stories to tell about their dating pasts and deserve another chance at love and I’m gonna help you."

Davina McCall had made no secret of her desire to host the show, as she told Steven Bartlett on his Diary of a CEO podcast in January that she was "literally begging ITV to let me present mid-life Love Island. I could fill a villa in Love Island with middle-aged people with the best backstories you have ever heard in your life."

She added: "They’ve lived a life, they’re widows, they’re people who have been through horrific divorces. They are people who have split up with somebody and decided they want to try and go out with somebody of the same sex as them, like interesting people."

When will the Romance Retreat start?

ITV haven't confirmed a start date for The Romance Retreat yet, as casting hasn't taken place. 

However, we do know that the show is set to air later in 2023, and some reports have suggested that we can expect to see The Romance Retreat on screen as earlier as the summer, as ITV have requested that all applicants must be aged 18 from May 1.

How to apply for The Romance Retreat

Casting is currently open and you can apply for The Romance Retreat via ITV’s Be On TV page. 

The closing date for applications is Friday 31 March 2023, and the audition process has been open since Monday 16 January, with a finishing date not yet confirmed.

The application form states that the show requires the participation of both the parent and their child, who must be 18 years of age or over on or before 1 May 2023.

Former Love Islander Jack Keating, 23, has taken to Instagram to celebrate the birth of his first child, a baby girl. In a simple but heartfelt post, the star wrote, "Welcome to the world my little princess."

Following the news, which comes just 8 months after Jack entered the Love Island villa, fans were quick to point out the suspicious timing of the birth. Having entered Love Island's infamous Casa Amor in July 2022, viewers of the show speculated that Jack must have conceived his daughter before finding fame in the villa. 

Considering that the premise of ITV's hit show Love Island is to flirt with the other Love Islander's and hopefully find love, the idea that Jack, while doing this, had a pregnant girlfriend at home led to confusion and outrage. 

One user wrote "Confused. So he had someone pregnant while he went on Love Island? Straight savage that is" and another added, "Man went into casa whilst expecting a baby".

Addressing the speculation, Jack confirmed that he and his daughter's mother 'are not together' but plan to raise the child together.

Speaking to The Sun, Jack revealed, "My daughter's mother and I are not together, however we look forward to co-parenting and giving our little girl the best support system that she needs.

"This is an exciting new chapter for me and my family and I am completely besotted already. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a father and give my daughter the most amazing life."

Who is the mother of Jack Keating's baby?

Jack Keating's ex girlfriend Keely Iqbal is the mother of the Love Islander's first and only daughter. The couple split up shortly before Jack appeared on ITV's Love Island but intend to 'co-parent.'

Confirming his single status, Jack revealed in an interview with Independent Ireland last month that he was 'single and ready to mingle'  and that he uses the dating app Hinge. 

Keely's identity was revealed by the Mail Online, who report that she works as an artist, designing custom trainer designs and greeting cards. She used her business' Instagram page to keep fans updated during her pregnancy, sharing various bump snaps throughout the pregnancy. Her personal Instagram is set to private, with the bio reading 'friends & family only.'

Evidence came in the form of Instagram activity, with Keely's profile commenting a heart emoji under Jack Keating's birth announcement and also liking all the comments of support from his famous family members.

Is Jack from Love Island Ronan Keating's son?

Yes, Jack Keating who featured on season 8 of Love Island is Ronan Keating's son. Jack is the Irish singer's eldest child, who he shares with his ex-wife, Yvonne.

Jack's daughter is Ronan Keating's first grandchild, who he called a 'little cutie' in a comment on Jack's Instagram post announcing her birth. Jack's mum Yvonne also commented, writing, "I miss her so much already."

Love Island fans are wondering if 2021 favourites Faye and Teddy are still together in 2023.

Faye Winter and Teddy Soares certainly had a rocky relationship in the Love Island villa, but fans were pleased to see the couple defied all odds and remained together long after Love Island finished. Two years on from their reality TV appearance, we've seen the pair share loved-up snaps and sweet relationship milestones on social media. But 2023 has been shrowded in split speculation. We set the record straight on whether Faye and Teddy are still together.

Whilst we've shared details of other Love Island couples still together, there's been a few notable break-ups over the past few years. Love Island 2021 runner-ups Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran announced their split last year, whilst news broke of Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank's separation in late 2021.

Are Faye and Teddy still together?

No, sadly, Love Island couple Faye and Teddy have split up after almost two years together. It was Faye who confirmed their break-up via Instagram stories on February 15, 2023.

"I wanted to let you know that after lots of time and consideration, Teddy and I have decided to go our separate ways," read the statement. "Thank you all so much for supporting our relationship and sharing the journey with us, I’m forever grateful."

News of their separation comes just under two weeks since Teddy shut down split rumours on social media. Speculation grew that the relationship suffered when the 29-year-old began filming SAS: Who Dares Wins.

But Teddy rubbished these claims on his Instagram stories on February 4. He wrote: "Everything you have been reading in the press is false.

"I have nothing but love and respect for Faye since we first met," he continued. "I do not wish to comment on rumours speculating our relationship and ask for you to respect our privacy at this time."

It's thought that the two may have parted ways before Valentine's Day this year. Faye, 27, shared a snap of herself in lingerie in an Instagram post for the occasion. The caption read: "Valentines isn’t just for couples - it’s also a time to fall in love with yourself." Some have said this was an obvious hint that the two were no longer together.

Reality star Faye also arrived at the Brit Awards 2023 solo on February 11.

Post-split, the two have unfollowed each other on Instagram. The Sun reports that Faye is "devastated" the relationship is over.

"She really hoped she and Teddy were forever, but sadly it wasn't to be," a source close to the star told the publication. "She's known deep down it was over for a while, but wasn't ready to let go. Faye's keeping her focus on their dog Bonnie and making sure she keeps busy with work."

Teddy is yet to speak out about the couple's break up.

The last time the couple were spotted together publicly was at an after party for James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water premiere in December 6, 2022. The two posed for photos together at The Natural History Museum in London. 

As for social media, the last time Faye posted a photo of the two together was in November 22, 2022. "It's the Sundays for me," read the caption, alongside pictures of  Teddy and Faye walking with their dog Bonnie and enjoying a roast dinner.

Did Faye and Teddy move in together?

Yes, In November 2021, Faye and Teddy confirmed that they'd moved in together. Faye shared snaps of their new house on Instagram, writing: "HOME We are so lucky to be able to share this amazing journey together and with you all!"

November 2021, also saw Faye launched a new Instagram account dedicated to their new home togther called Faye_Home. Boasting 210,000 followers, the page gets regularly updated with pictures of their home, alongside practical buying advice.

The last post she shared was in the build-up to Christmas 2022, showing some DIY table decoration crafts she'd made for the festive season. 

Since news of the couple's split, The Sun claims that Teddy has since officially moved out of the house they share together.

Where did Faye and Teddy finish in Love Island?

Faye and Teddy came third place in the Love Island 2021 finale. Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran finished second, with Millie Court and Liam Reardon crowned the winners. Sadly all three couples have since split. 

Faye was in the original line-up for Love Island 2021, whilst Teddy arrived on day 12. The two went on a date together upon Teddy's arrival and things were going well between them until Casa Amor.

The sneaky Love Island producers sent a postcard to the main villa which showed Teddy kissing Casa Amor contestant Clarisse Juliette. "A picture says a thousand words," a hurt Faye declared. The reality was, however, that Teddy had only kissed Clarisse as part of a game.

Faye decided to couple up with Casa Amor boy Sam Jackson at the next recoupling, whilst a disappointed Teddy returned to the villa single. Teddy later clarified the kiss situation and the two were able to rekindle things, staying coupled up till the grand finale.

The Casa Amor episodes always bring the drama - just before the Love Island final.

Described as the 'ultimate test' Casa Amor sees the girls and boys on split into two separate villas and introduced to a group of new bombshells. At the end of their time away from each other, the original Islanders must choose whether to stick with the person they were coupled up with before they were separated, or 'twist' and resume their time in the original villa with one of the Casa Amor bombshells.

Every series Casa Amor brings the drama, which is why just last week viewers were desperate to know when Casa Amor would start. Now, however, viewers are keen to know when it will finish, so they can find out who stays loyal, who might leave Love Island, and if any new couples have the potential to make it all the way to when Love Island finishes.

When does Casa Amor end?

Casa Amor will end on Thursday 16 February. On Instagram and Twitter, Love Island posted a first look for that evening's episode, showing Maya Jama's arrival in the villa and a sneak peak of what will happen in the episode.

Love Island host Maya Jama arriving in South Africa this week was a tell-tale clue that Casa Amor would soon be wrapping up. After filming the show's spin off Love Island: Aftersun in London, she wrote on Instagram: "Live show last night and had a shoot this morning, now on the way to South Africa but this is everything I ever dreamed of."

She added: "Super grateful and it's more than I could imagine. Cheesy but real life.

"Thank God every day because it could have been very different and I love every single person that has supported and made all of this happen too." 

When is the Casa Amor recoupling?

The Casa Amor recoupling will also take place on Thursday 16 February, as shown by the first look clip. However, it's not clear whether the full recoupling will be aired on this evening's show, or whether the episode will end on a cliff-hanger, saving the full reveal until Friday 17.

It is this moment when the Islanders who have left the main villa return, either bringing one of the new bombshells in with her or returning alone. The Islanders don't know until then if the person they were coupled up with before has stayed loyal or not.

What has happened in Casa Amor so far?

Casa Amor has already caused drama among the Islanders, with more than a few heads turning. Those who look tempted to recouple with the bombshells include Tanya Manhenga, Olivia Hawkins, Will Young, Casey O'Gorman, Tom Clare and Kai Fagan.

Tanya, who has been coupled up with Shaq Muhammad since day one, has been getting to know Irish bombshell Martin Akinola and the pair have been sharing a bed together. In the main villa, Shaq hasn't been tempted by and of the new bombshells, and even said he'd be "heartbroken" if Tanya chose someone else.

Olivia and Kai have been coupled up for around a week now, after they both started their Love Island journey coupled up with other people. But in Casa Amor, both of them have shared kisses with new bombshells - Olivia with Maxwell Samuda and Kai with Sanam Harrinanan. 

Casey has also kissed Sanam, but more recently shared a bed with Cynthia Otseh-Taiwo. He's coupled up with Claudia Fogarty, who is yet to appear tempted by the Casa Amor bombshells.

Meanwhile, Will Young - branded by viewers as this season's 'nice guy' - horrified fans when he kissed Layla Al-Momani, despite he and Jessie being one of the most solid couples on the show. 

However, he did later admit he regretted the kiss with Layla. Jessie has so far stayed loyal to Will throughout Casa Amor.

Finally, Tom Clare and Samie Elishi - who were coupled up in the main villa - have both been getting to know other people. While Samie has confessed new bombshell Ryan Weekly has started to give her the "ick", Tom Clare has kissed Scottish bombshell Lydia Karakyriakou.

What happens after Casa Amor?

Usually, any singletons not chosen by the original Islanders are immediately dumped and sent home. So the pressure is really on to turn those heads.

Former Casa Amor contestant Jamie McCann said that leaving the island after just three days was "sad."

She said: "I just think that’s the worst time to go in… especially for the girls [because] people generally don’t like you – that’s just a well-known fact – because they want everyone to stay coupled up."

She added that when she left after failing to couple up, the mood was an "obviously sad" one. "You want to stay and have the opportunity to meet other people," she said.

Another previous Casa Amor contestant, Savanna Darnell, has revealed she had a tough time being one of only two girls not chosen to stay on in the main villa.

She said: "Out of the six girls, only two of us weren’t chosen. It was the most embarrassing moment in my whole entire life. I had to watch as they excitedly prepared to move across to the main villa – I just felt sick. I can’t even remember the flight back to the UK. I’ve completely blocked it out of my memory."

How long is Love Island?

Love Island normally lasts for around 8 weeks, and it's expected the same will be the case for this series - although ITV are yet to announce the exact date of the final.

However, it's possible that the winter series will be slightly shorter, as the previous show in 2020 lasted just 44 days, compared the the summer season's 58 days.

Will Young made a splash when he entered the villa for this year's Love Island, but why are fans so obsessed with his sexuality?

Will Young from Love Island became a hot topic of conversation when it was revealed he would be joining the Winter Love Island cast. Already enjoying a degree of fame, the farmer from Buckinghamshire has over one million followers on his TikTok account.  

And as the series has gone on, 'Farmer Will' has remained the focus of many viewers' attention, but it's no longer because of his short-form videos explaining life on the farm. Instead, a conversation has emerged around whether Will from Love Island is gay.

It's a strange conclusion to draw from his time on the show - not least because he is currently happily coupled up with Aussie Islander Jessie Wynter. Sure, we don't know whether Will might be interested in dating men too, but either way it's not up to us to speculate about his sexuality.

Unfortunately, that doesn't stop the Love Island viewers on Twitter. You only need to search 'Love Island Will' to find photos and videos of the guy just being himself, with a caption calling his sexuality into question.

But why do so many Love Island fans seem to be under the impression that Will is gay? Well, it appears to be something to do with his flamboyant and excitable behaviour. He's often seen twerking, dancing and skipping around the villa in a thoroughly unselfconscious way, seemingly unafraid to embarrass himself in his mission to make the whole villa laugh. 

He's also just so nice. And not nice in the same way that the previous 'nice guys' of Love Island were - such as Hugo Hammond and Dr Alex - who took on the title mainly because they had little luck finding love while on the show. Will Young appears to be a genuinely good person: he's sweet to Jessie, is determined to make every day in the villa a good one, and showed his soft side when comforting recently dumped Islander Anna-May. 

After fellow Islander Kai told Anna-May he couldn't see their connection going any further, Will gave her a hug and said, "Have a cry, it isn't silly, it's a super tough and tense situation."

The fact that some viewers think Love Island's Will is gay says a lot more about society's expectations of straight men than it does of Will. A person's behaviour doesn't dictate their sexuality, and assuming that men who are in touch with their emotions or like to sing and dance are gay only works to exacerbate the already toxic pressures on men - such as the ideas that they must be hyper masculine, aggressive, and show no emotion. It's no wonder that so many of them choose to stray when Casa Amor rolls around. And honestly, who can blame them if the alternative is having their sexuality called into question?

It's worth saying, however, that there are many fans of Love Island who have praised Will for being his authentic self during his time in the villa. And just last year contestant Liam Llewellyn was praised for quitting the series after just six days because he didn't feel like he was being himself while on the show.

So while it's by no means all - or even a majority - of Love Island fans speculating that Will might be gay, it's still worth calling out. Because how else will we teach the young men and boys who are growing up watching these reality shows and engaging in the discourse on Twitter that it's okay to be sensitive and emotional, without fear of their sexual preferences becoming a subject of gossip?

Will Young may well address his sexuality after Love Island finishes - and let's hope that the response will be supportive and respectful - but unless that happens, it's not up to anyone else to diecide what his - or anyone else's - sexual preferences are.

Winter Love Island is well underway but viewers who were hoping to see a broader selection of singletons will be delighted ITV has confirmed a new spin-off series as we look at what is The Romance retreat and how to apply to the ITV show?

The cast of Winter love Island 2023 are of a certain age and demographic but while the majority of viewers might fit this profiling, there have previously been calls for a show that encompasses 'older' singletons who are perhaps not so beach body ready. 

Filmed in Cape Town, Winter Love Island contestants are aged between 20 and 27, and previous Love Island series have had a similar participation of young people.

And following the summer series, one fan tweeted, "They should do a spin off where the contestants are 25 and older and have Ekin-Su host it." Another fan put, "See, this is why we need older contestants (e.g Ekin, Davide, Anna, Ovie, even season 5’s Michael) These young ones try too hard for the camera, too self aware and are cringe to watch."

And a third fan added, "What life experience do these people have? I think love island would be much better with older more down to earth contestants…."

And it looks like bosses have been listening as this new show is set to push the applicants out wide to target single parents but to apply, there's a catch.... here's what we know and how long we'll have to wait after Love Island 2023 finishes to see it. 

What is The Romance Retreat ITV show?

The Romance Retreat is a new ITV show that is at the pre-production stage, and will see "vibrant single parents from across the UK who are in search for love" stay in a luxury retreat. ITV bosses say it's the "ONLY dating show where single parents can search for love, by spending time in a luxury retreat, where all the parents have been nominated by their grown up children.

Lifted Entertainment and Powered By Cast It Reach are involved in the making of the show and Good Morning Britain's Richard Arnold revealed the news on the ITV Daytime show.

How to apply for The Romance Retreat ITV show

To apply to take part in The Romance Retreat ITV show, all the single parents must be nominated by their grown up children. The show will require the participation of a parent (the “Parent”) and their adult child (the “Child”). If you are applying as the Child, as part of the Entry Form, you will need to nominate a Parent. If you are applying as the Parent, as part of the Entry Form, you will need to nominate your Child. The nominated Parent or Child will be referred to as your “Family Member”. 

You can apply as either the parent or as a child nominating your parent by registering online where you will be asked to fill in a questionnaire.

Fans of reality dating shows can't wait for the series to start. One fan tweeted, "How do I sign my dad for this?"

Another fan put, "Okay I’d watch this tho, but they better be 40 minimum or something"

And a third fan added, "I'd rather watch this than the current Love Island show. Hopefully we'll see more 'real' characters."

Will Young is a 23-year-old farmer from Buckinghamshire, who grew up on his family's £1 million estate. Will already has a large following on social media thanks to the viral videos he posts about life as a farmer, but now he's trading that in for a few weeks in the Love Island villa.

Revealing why he has decided to leave his farm and head to South Africa to appear on the dating show, Will said: "Having grown up on a farm, it’s been quite difficult juggling relationships and work. Love Island will give me time away from the farm to solely go out and find love. I think I’m at the time of my life where I’m mature enough to go and find a wife."

He added: "It took a lot of time setting in place with the farm, obviously, because it’s me and my dad working.

"Me getting taken out of it, there was a lot of thought that went into it of different things that we could do. We’ve basically got someone in to replace me while I am away."

Ahead of his appearance on ITV's flagship dating show, Will has said he’s both a 'wholesome boy' and a 'cheeky chappy', and has revealed that he loves techno music and says Boris Johnson would be one of his dream dinner party guests. He also revealed that he loves to meditate, and that he lights a candle and meditates for 20 minutes every night.

What is Will Young famous for?

Will Young is famous for the videos and photos he shares of his life as a farmer under the nickname 'Farmer Will'. The videos show snippets of his day-to-day life surrounded by animals on the farm he grew up on.

Will might be famous himself but he's met a famous face too. Back in November, Will posted a video of Claudia Winkleman throwing a bucket of water over him as part of an advert for Head and Shoulders shampoo.

Will said of the interaction with the Traitors presenter: "Claudia Winkleman came to my farm. She was lovely and got stuck in. She poured water over me."

Will is on Instagram at @farmer_will_ and on TikTok at @farmerwill_. But despite his large following he won't be posting during his time in the Love Island villa, as all the contestants have been asked to disable their pages while they're on the show.

ITV has asked them to do this so nothing can be published on their behalf and to avoid "the adverse effects of social media".

He revealed that he has always lived on the farm with his parents, saying: "I’ve lived at home all my life. I think the longest I’ve been away from home is seven days.

"So I would definitely miss the animals and my family, and I live next door to my grandparents as well. So I think that would be quite tough – getting out of that safe space and chucked in the deep end."

He added: "My family are really sound. I’m sure the girl that I was to couple up with would be amazing as well so. I’m a big family person. Family is really, really important to me.

How long has Will Young been single?

Will hasn't revealed how long he's been single, but he has hinted at some commitment issues in the past.

He has said of past relationships: "I self sabotage myself sometimes when I’ve got a good thing going. I do like my own space and my own time; I haven’t got to stress about anything and just worry about myself."

However, he explains that it's not a deal breaker if his potential love interests aren't good with animals, saying, "My mum didn’t step on the farm for the first 20 years of my mum and dad’s marriage!"

He added, "What attracts me is energy, if the energy is there, she can do whatever she wants. 

"As long as she respects what I do and my busy times of the year, then that’s all I need. If she loves it, bonus! But it’s not a big issue for me."

Meet the Winter Love Island cast, before finding out who left Love Island most recently.

Winter Love Island 2023 was confirmed last month, we've been counting down the days until its highly-anticipated contestants were unveiled - and thankfully the wait is over. Last June, ITV confirmed that the cast for Winter Love Island 2023 would head to Cape Town, South Africa, where temperatures average around 25°C in January. TV presenter Maya Jama, who succeeds Laura Whitmore as the new host, has already landed in the gorgeous nation ahead of the series launch after revealing to the Times that she accepted the life-changing job offer "straight away."

ITV has since confirmed it's working on spin-off show called The Romance Retreat which will start filming shortly after Love Island 2023 final.

The 28-year-old will be joined at the luxurious villa by the Winter Love Island 2023 contestants - including newcomer Will Young who has already had tongues wagging. So without further ado, here's everything you need to know about this year's lineup.

Winter Love Island 2023 cast: Meet the islanders

Tanya Manhenga

The first Winter Love Island 2023 star on our list is Tanya Manhenga, a biomedical science student and influencer from Liverpool. This 22-year-old singleton, who currently has 13k Instagram followers, is on the hunt for a boyfriend and hopes that "being in a villa with lots of different people will help me work out who it is I may want." 

Manhenga also has Vitiligo, a condition that causes white patches to develop on the skin as a result of a lack of melanin. 

"It's on my lip and I have a stripe on my hair," she revealed. "Not many people know that but I think it's quite cute. I don't care about covering it up all the time, I think it's a vibe."

Kai Fagan

Kai Fagan is next on our line-up of Winter Love Island 2023, and by the sounds of it, he's about to bring a competitive edge to the upcoming series. 

Aged 24, this science and PE teacher plays semi-professional rugby for Burnage RFC and has previously played for rugby 7s for Jamaica. Fagan, who is a Jamaican citizen, also seems pretty sure about what he wants in a partner, revealing he's "single by choice" and has "high expectations." 

"I don't feel I should commit to someone unless I'm absolutely buzzing over them, because it's not fair on them," he revealed. 

Lana Jenkins

Age: 25 | Profession: Makeup artist | Social Media: Follow Lana on Instagram here. 

Lana Jenkins, 25, hails from Luton and works as a makeup artist. No stranger to the entertainment industry, she's already beautified "lots of celebrities" and even appeared as an extra on the British sitcom Benidorm whilst living in Spain as a child. 

Jenkins has also revealed she tends to fall in love "quickly" and, if her feelings are real, will even inform the person she loves them within a week. As for her turn-offs, she hates receiving question marks as text messages if she hasn't replied for a while. "That's a really big red flag for me!" she admitted. "Also if I see a guy trip over, that's an instant turn off."

Ron Hall originates from Essex and promises to bring "fun and charisma" to the South African villa.

"I just want to be naturally myself in there, have good times and make memories. I think people will enjoy my company," the 25-year-old said. Hall is also blind in one eye after suffering a football injury at the age of 8, but insists the experience has only "added" to his character. 

"There are so many people that are worse off than me," he said. "And if anything, losing something like that makes you realise that. It's not hindered me in any shape or form. It's a good conversation starter I must admit."

Anna-May Robey

At 20, Welsh Anna-May Robey already knows what she wants from Winter Love Island 2023: a relationship. 

"I want a boyfriend, I want to find someone who makes me laugh," the payroll administrator from Swansea said. "I've been single for quite a while, my mother is bugging me, she's like, 'You need to find a boyfriend.' I'm just excited to try something new and I think going on Love Island is a good way to meet someone." 

A self-described "chatterbox", Robey says she's "always running around singing and screaming" at home and can sometimes even irritate her family with her "energetic" personality. 

"My parents are always like, 'Shut up!' I work from home all day so I don't really speak to people in person for two or three days a week, so when my father comes home, he'll want to sit down and chill out, and I'm there chewing his ear off!" she confessed.

Farmer Will Young hopes that Winter Love Island 2023 will give him the opportunity to focus on falling in love after struggling to balance his romantic and work life. 

"Having grown up on a farm, it’s been quite difficult juggling relationships and work. Love Island will give me time away from the farm to solely go out and find love," the Buckinghamshire native said. "I think I’m at the time of my life where I’m mature enough to go and find a wife." 

Young also meditates every night for 20 to 25 minutes, having been introduced to the practice by a girl he once dated. 

"It’s a nice way to self-reflect, taking a minute on my day/ week. It’s really nice and sets me up for a nice sleep," he said. 

Tanyel Revan

Tanyel Revan, a hairstylist from North London, has vowed to bring "energy" and "confidence" to the villa in South Africa. 

"I’m funny, loud, feisty, charismatic," the 26-year-old said, before adding, "I'm also a very loyal person, what is there not to love?" 

Revan's celebrity crush is Channing Tatum, whom she describes as "handsome but not too pretty." 

"He’s manly and he can dance," she added. "If a man can dance I’m in love with him straight away."

Shaq Muhammad

Londoner Shaq Muhammad hopes to meet his "future wife" at the villa, having not had the "best luck with previous relationships." The 24-year-old, who currently works as an airport security officer, also describes himself as "a very emotional person". 

"I’m the type of person that wears my heart on my sleeve. If I find someone I click with, I fall very hard, very fast," he explained. 

Muhammad also revealed that he's brought to tears every time he watches his favorite film, Dear John.

"Any time I’m with someone and they say, ‘Let’s watch a romantic film’, I’m like, ‘How about Dear John, how does that sound?'" he said.

Too Hot to Handle Season 4 release date

Too Hot to Handle Season 4 will be released on Netflix on 7th December. The streaming service will make episodes 1-5 available on the launch date, with episodes 6-10 available the following week on 14th December. 

The new series is expected to be based on a dating game in which commitment phobe singletons must abstain from any physical intimacy and instead, make meaningful connections during their stay at this beautiful Caribbean retreat. Each will take part in a series of workshops to help improve themselves and their relationships with others. For those who successfully make it through the challenges, there will be a prize fund - which was doubled in Season 3 so could be even bigger this year.

What does the new villa on Too Hot to Handle Season 4 look like?

The new villa on Too Hot to Handle features a cosy bedroom for all contestants decked out in purple, mint and aqua blue colours. There's the all important plush dressing room for contestants to create their TV ready look.

And stunning outdoor seating areas complete with fire pits and wicker style lighting, a beach-side fire pit with wooden benches and cosy lighting provides the perfect date settings.

But how will they resist each other when the surroundings are stunningly romantic?...You'll have to tune in to find out.

For seasons two and three, the Too Hot To Handle villa was the Turtle Tail Estate, which costs $10,000 per night to rent and is a 4.57-acre peninsula, as reported in the Caribbean Journal, worth a casual $20 million.

I'm a Celebrity had barely been back 24 hours and there was already drama to hit 2022 campmates with the news that Love Island star Olivia Attwood has been forced to pull out of the show, leaving fans wondering why has Olivia Attwood left I'm a Celeb?

Olivia, who was the first Love Island contestant to enter the jungle in the show's history, jetted to Australia when I'm a Celebrity started along with the other contestants, ready to spend just over three weeks having to complete gruesome challenges in order to win meal tokens for camp. 

But while her entry to the show looked promising, with some predicting Olivia could win the series, Olivia was voted a "Jungle VIP" - which in I'm a Celeb terms means a Very Isolated Person - and she was was joined by other "Jungle VIPs" to stay on a remote island for the night and compete in the first Bushtucker challenge.

Why did Olivia Attwood leave I'm a Celeb?

Olivia Attwood has been forced to withdraw from competing in I'm a Celebrity on medical grounds. The star has since shared that the reason she had to quit the show was a blood test that revealed she was dangerously anaemic. 

Just 48 hours into this year's I'm a Celeb, the 31-year-old was called in for a medical check, with the test also flagging worrying sodium and potassium levels. On-site medics called the star to a private room and then rushed her to an A&E unit 30 miles from camp. This led producers to make the decision that it would be unsafe for Olivia to return to camp.

Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, Olivia said: 'I was so scared, I was like 'what the hell is wrong with me?' They couldn't give me an answer, they just told me that they had to get me to the hospital immediately.

"The results were really, really low when they put them into their reader and they consulted with another doctor off site. I had those bloods done in England before I left, and they were fine. I was confused and of course very, very worried."

Olivia went on to reveal that the test were repeated in the hospital and came back normal, but ITV bosses decided it was too risky to allow Olivia back in the jungle. When speaking about the moment she found out she wouldn't be allowed back into camp, Olivia said: "I was absolutely devastated. I'm not a crier but I started to cry, it was so emotional. I was heartbroken and gutted. I tried to keep my emotions in check and keep it in perspective, things could be so much worse."

After she initially left the jungle, rumours began to emerge that Olivia had been forced to leave because of breaking the show's Covid rules, but these reports were soon put to bed by the star's representatives. Heart reported that a close friend of Olivia's said: "The show is very Covid safe but the so-called bubble is not the same as it was in Wales.

"Mike Tindall was seen trying to throw a production member into the sea on the first day. He hugged her and was in complete contact with her and nothing was said.

"Other celebs are also coming into close contact with camera crew and production who come and go from site every day and are out at night as normal.

"It is very different to Wales when Richard Madeley wasn't allowed back for breaking the bubble."

A statement was released on Olivia's Instagram account after she failed to appear in the episode on Monday 7 November and Ant & Dec wished her well at the start of the show. It read, "To say Olivia is heartbroken would be an understatement, she's dreamed of doing I'm A Celeb for years, and was absolutely loving every second and throwing herself into jungle life feet first (just as we knew she would).

It continued, "However, for reasons before her control her journey has been cut short. Your support and kind words have meant the absolute world to her, now as much as always has. You will hear the truth from Olivia in due course and she will be back on your screens in the New Year. Ps. Who's going to roast Matt Hancock now?? :(("

A show spokesperson said at the time, "As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo some medical checks. Unfortunately, the medical team has advised it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be further investigation. She has been absolutely brilliant and she'll be very much missed on the show."

Shortly after the news broke, her fiancé Bradley Dack told MailOnline, Olivia is "fine" but will be "gutted" with the early departure. He admitted at the time he didn't know why she is leaving and added, "I just saw it in the news, like anyone else."

Olivia wasn't able to turn her phone on and see the reaction to her exit until she arrived at Brisbane airport on her way home. Sher revealed to the MailOnline that she then decided to delete her social media apps, to avoid upsetting herself further.

She said: "When I first got my phone back I saw clips of me on the show that showed my little happy face. It made me feel really sad – I didn't want to see them. I didn't want to see my entrance interview, it was a reminder of how exciting everything was just before it was taken away."

During her time on the show, Olivia chose Chris Moyles to join her as Jungle VIP, before climbing aboard a helicopter to jump out at 10,000ft. After completing the journey, Olivia touched down on the sand, joined by Chris. They were then united with Boy George and Scarlette Douglas - who had also been chosen as Jungle VIPs - and the four were tasked with completing the first bushtucker trial to win stars for meals in camp.

Where is Olivia Attwood now?

Olivia is back at her Manchester home, where she lives with fiancé Bradley Dack. She is being comforted by her beloved rescue dogs, Lola and Stitch. After fans shared their concern following the star's absence from social media, she took to Instagram to reassure her two million followers that she would "be back soon".

One Twitter user claims to have spotted the star at the airport, tweeting a photo with the caption, "Celeb camp looks nice this year. Olivia Attwood has left the jungle already.. spotted at the airport #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity #Imaceleb2022 @antanddec @oliviajade_att"

And fans have reacted to her leaving, one said, "What a shame she’d have stirred it up no end in there & put Matt in his place!! Hope she’s ok x"

Another fan put, "Gutted that had to leave, hope she’s ok! Was looking forward to her being her usual tv gold #ImACeleb @oliviajade_att"

And a third added, "That was very quick... hope she's ok!"

When asked if she will still receive the full fee for the show - reportedly between £100,000 to £125,000 - Olivia said, "We haven't discussed that yet."

As the countdown to the I'm a Celebrity start date heats up, so has the public's fixation on its famous contestants. Olivia Attwood was one of the first celebrities confirmed for the I'm A Celeb 2022 cast, landing in Brisbane last week to take part in the show's first season in Australia since 2019. The 31-year-old shot to fame in 2017 on Love Island Season 3 and later landed a regular role on The Only Way is Essex, quickly becoming a household name in the La-La Land of reality television. Attwood also has a hefty social media presence, boasting 1.9m followers on Instagram and 405k followers on Twitter. 

"I've never eaten camel foot before, but again, it's something you don't do in your normal life," she said, suggesting she'll probably be treating viewers to some hilarious Bushtucker trials expressions during her time at camp. 

Olivia has since been forced to leave the jungle after just 24 hours on medical grounds.

No Olivia Attwood is not married - but wedding bells are certainly on the horizon - as she is engaged to her long-term boyfriend, footballer Bradley Dack. 

The Love Island star reportedly wanted Chris Hughes to propose during their intense relationship, but the couple ultimately ended up splitting in 2018 after just seven months together.

Who is Olivia Attwood's fiancé? 

Olivia Attwood has been engaged to Bradley Dack, from London, since 2019. She dated the 28-year-old athlete for about three months before appearing on Love Island, after meeting him at a West End nightclub through mutual friends. 

They rekindled their love in 2018 after Attwood had broken up with Chris Hughes, just a year before Dack proposed during a romantic getaway to Dubai in October 2019. The couple had intended to get married exactly a year later, but their plans were scrapped due to COVID-19 restrictions. The wedding was delayed again in 2022, after Dack suffered a severe knee injury. 

"It's complicated but essentially the main reasons are Brad is recovering from injury, when we were looking into booking more details for the wedding, the stag and the hen do, he didn't want to book until he had three good football games. I thought, we couldn't wait because Christmas will happen, then we will be in March and then it'll be the wedding," Attwood told the MailOnline.

"My work schedule is so heavy on my shoulders with filming, the brand. We are just going to buy ourselves another year. We are a strong couple, and we achieve a lot in our careers, and we want to enjoy getting married."

Olivia Attwood and Chris Hughes - their relationship history explained

Olivia Attwood's relationship with Chris Hughes was complicated, to say the least. The couple first became romantically involved on Love Island Series 3, but fought constantly and ended up splitting shortly after the show aired. 

Attwood later described dating the English presenter and model as "all-consuming" and "toxic", adding that they "argued a lot" in their short-lived relationship. She also said that their personalities were "incompatible" and that she realized their romance wouldn't survive once they had left the villa and re-entered the "real world." 

After their Love Island stint, Attwood and Hughes appeared on Chris and Olivia: Crackin' On, a three-part series for ITVBE. The spin-off, which aired one month after the couple had split, included multiple scenes of the couple having huge arguments at the tail-end of their relationship. In one clip, Attwood confronts Hughes about his partying and flirting with other women, only to then be accused of having double standards.

Ant and Dec are swapping the I'm A Celebrity castle in Wales for sunnier climes when I'm A Celebrity starts this year. 

All of the fan's favourite bushtucker trials are set to return, along with the voting for the terrifying challenges that celebrities will have to face their fears and win some meal stars for their campmates.

Who is in the jungle this year?

The celebrities confirmed to be going in the jungle of I'm A Celebrity this year are; Matt Hancock, Love Island's Olivia Attwood, ex-England Rugby player and royal Mike Tindall, pop icon Boy George, DJ Chris Moyles, Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner, England Lioness Jill Scott, Loose Women panelist Charlene White, former Strictly pro Seann Walsh, Coronation Street's Sue Cleaver, comedian Babatunde Aleshe and TV host Scarlette Douglas.

Some of the celebrities were pictured arriving in Oz ahead of the new series starting, before the ITV show officially confirmed its line up.

Matt Hancock

Former Health Secretary Matt Hancock has confirmed that he's signed up for the jungle. He is joining the camp as an extra campmate, and the former politician could be voted by viewers to face a lot of the bushtucker trials as punishment for breaking lockdown rules by having an affair in his office, after The Sun exposed him.

He has explained why he's swapping Westminster for the wild bush, in the The Sun, he writes, "Next week I’m going into the jungle, as part of this year’s I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here. 

"Some may think I’ve lost my marbles or had one too many drinks, swapping the comfortable surroundings of Westminster and West Suffolk for the extreme conditions of the Australian outback, going where there will be few creature comforts, not enough food, and a load of physical tasks involving snakes, spiders and plenty of other creepy-crawlies.

He continued, "While there will undoubtedly be those who think I shouldn’t go, I think it’s a great opportunity to talk directly to people who aren’t always interested in politics, even if they care very much about how our country’s run."

"It’s our job as politicians to go to where the people are — not to sit in ivory towers in Westminster.

"There are many ways to do the job of being an MP. Whether I’m in camp for one day or three weeks, there are very few places people will be able to see a politician as they really are."

Since reports surfaced of him going into the jungle an online petition to ITV has been set up by covid families to 'stop him from appearing on the show'.

Matt is the latest in a long line of figures from the political sphere, including MP Nadine Dorries, Stanley Johnson and MP Lembit Opik.

Matt recently took part in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins that is expected to air in the new year.

According to reports, Westminster sources say Mr Hancock sprung the I'm A Celeb news on stunned Tory colleagues after not getting promoted in Rishi Sunak's reshuffle late last week.

And since his announcement he has been stripped of the Government whip.

“This is a matter serious enough to warrant suspension of the whip with immediate effect,” said Simon Hart, the Tory chief whip.

Olivia Attwood

Olivia Attwood is the first ever Love Island star to have signed up for I’m a Celeb. Since leaving the Love Island Villa, Olivia's TV career has taken off. So it comes as no surprise that she is the top earner, with potential earnings of up to £8.4k per Instagram post. 

“One of the things that will be nice will be to show a different side to me. I think people think I am high maintenance and I will struggle without make-up and nails but I am not that bothered and I think that might surprise people. I am happy to muck in. 

“It will also be nice to have a digital detox. I do a lot of social media and I spend a crazy amount of time on my phone. My phone causes me stress. We are all prisoners to our phones and so it will be so nice to have this time in life where you are digitally disconnected for three weeks. It’s going to be great to be completely immersed in the jungle environment and I am excited to see what I can do.” 

Going on to joke she will look like a ‘drowned rat’ in the jungle shower rather than anything like the iconic scenes former contestant, Myleene Klass, is now famous for, Olivia added, “I definitely will be packing a bikini. But I will look like a drowned rat in the shower. I don’t know if I can live up to Myleene’s iconic shower moment!”

“All the trials are scary looking and I am a screamer for sure,” says Olivia. “Something in the dark would scare me and the water challenges are scary looking too. But if I get voted to do a trial, I will give it a go. You’ve got to embrace the whole experience.” 

A super fan of I’m A Celebrity, Olivia has also already decided not to get involved with the camp cooking because she thinks it can lead to arguments around the campfire. She says: “I can cook but I probably wouldn’t volunteer as it feels like it’s a lot of pressure and a lot of arguments break out over the cooking.” 

She also reckons it will be a very different experience on I’m A Celebrity compared to Love Island, which also saw her live with a group of strangers followed by the cameras 24/7. “With Love Island, everyone is the same age and similar kind of people,” she explains. “But with I’m A Celebrity, it’s going to be the vast variety of people that will be so different. I can’t wait to meet them all and I am looking forward to hanging out with people you wouldn’t normally hang out with in real life. I like to think I will make people laugh in camp. I laugh at everything and I don’t take myself too seriously which is key.” 

“I am not a terribly emotional person but I do think this show is unique,” explains Olivia. “You have got no contact with friends and family, you are going to be hungry and you are going to be tested with fears and phobias. If there was one show that will make you emotional, then it is this one!”

Olivia was forced to leave the jungle on medical grounds after just 24 hours.

Boy George

The music icon and Culture Club star Boy George - real name George Alan O'Dowd, has the third highest potential Instagram earnings of £2.7k. The singer-songwriter is also said to be the highest-paid celeb on the show, according to Mail Online, and will be bringing his dry wit and outspoken personality to the camp. Viewers are also hoping for some star-studded stories from the performer, though his inclusion has caused some controversy as many point out that Boy George previously served time in prison.

Speaking about why he signed up, Boy George, said, “I am bored of being iconic in the corner and if you want to compete in the world then being part of telly is part of that. This is the biggest show on TV and that is why I am doing it. And now I have made the decision, I don’t want to focus too much on what the experience might be like, but my intention is it is going to be amazing. It’s three weeks without make-up and three weeks is nothing. I have just done seven weeks on tour.”

He also admits he will burst into tears – but not because he is homesick. Says the singer, “I am fascinated by bugs and creatures. I think I will cry if I see something beautiful and not because it is scary. I have never been in the jungle and I am fascinated by the experience.”

“Of course, I will sing!” he admits. “I am going to do impersonations of Shirley Bassey every day. I am going to put a song out whilst I am in the jungle too. I release music all the time. It’s good for people to discover music in a different way rather than through the approval system of radio. I don’t need to be approved by someone who hasn’t made a record. “I am looking forward to doing I’m A Celebrity. It might be more amazing than I expect it to be.”

DJ Chris Moyles

DJ Chris Moyles has signed up with the Radio X host been pictured arriving at an airport in Down Under. He was recently pictured having lunch with Vernon Kay, who starred in last year's show. 

Speaking about deciding to go into the jungle he explained, “In the past, I always said no to offers to take part. But this year, I didn’t say no immediately, and I ended up going to a meeting. Now I don’t know why I said yes. But I am a huge fan of the show and I know what I am letting myself in for! My friends who have done it before have told me I will have a great time.”

Aside from missing his girlfriend, cats and home comforts, Chris admits it’s going to be weird not presenting a radio show every morning. “I am going to really miss it,” he says. “It will be very weird to not do the show and see the team every day. There is a very worrying chance I might wake up at 6.30 and start talking for half an hour in camp as that is all I have been doing for the last 20 years! But I don’t know if the campmates want a half hour monologue from me every morning!” 

Chris has had a weightloss transformationsin recent years and he's also dreading not being able to have a cup of tea. “I am such a Yorkshire man, not having tea will be difficult to take,” adds Chris. “I used to be a lot bigger so I am no stranger to cutting down on food but not having a mug of tea is going to be very tricky. I am staying well out of the cooking, too. I don’t want to poison my campmates!”

Sue Cleaver

Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver was pictured arriving in the country and she is confirmed as an official campmate. Best known for playing long-standing Corrie resident Eileen Grimshaw. Eileen is the mother of Todd and Jason Grimshaw wife of serial killer Pat Phelan. In real-life she recently welcomed her fourth grandchild and shared an adorable snap holding the newborn on her Instagram and she's since revealed she is taking part in the hit ITV series to ‘shake things up’ as she approaches her 60th birthday.

“Doing I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! is never really something I considered doing before,” explains the Soap Queen. “But the pandemic happened and then this year, I have just turned 59 and so I decided for my 59th, I was going to shake things up a bit. “I realised I needed something that would challenge me and I thought this show would be good – and so that’s why I am doing it.”

Describing herself as a good cook who is happy to help with campfire duties, sleeping outside in the jungle will, she adds, be an amazing experience. “I am most looking forward to the jungle,” she explains. “The thought of waking up and hearing the noises of the jungle is what I am excited about. I am really looking forward to being outside and being at one with nature…

“I think I will take on more of a mum role in the camp. I can cook and it will be interesting meeting all the others. I hope it is a good team playing group. That is the biggest thing I want – that everyone is a team player.”

Owen Warner

Hollyoaks star Owen Warner, who plays Romeo Nightingale in the Channel 4 soap, is among the official line up. He's been on the soap since July 2018, a role which he landed only months after dropping out from university. He teased he was taking a flight just days before the official confirmation, with an Instagram post and an aeroplane emoji. 

He admits not having his twice-a-week haircut will be the biggest challenge he has to face in the Australian jungle as he reveals he has encouraged his friends and family to vote for him to do every single trial.

The trials are part of the I’m A Celebrity experience. It’s great to be going to Australia, the OG format.” Going on to explain why he will miss not having his hair cut regularly, Owen adds: “I have to get haircuts twice a week for work and I think not having them will be the biggest trial! I might come out looking like a different geezer!” Asked if he would like to find love under the jungle stars, Owen smiles as he replies: “I don’t have a partner, I am always looking for love!”

Readily admitting the lack of food will prove problematic for the actor, Owen says he doesn’t know how he will cope on rice and beans. “Any food I am given like the things in the eating trial I am going to make the most of,” adds Owen

“I don’t let myself go hungry at home. I will always have a snack. But I am not going to have the resources around me so I don’t know how ‘hangry’ I am going to get. My cooking skills are definitely not my best attribute but I do like entertaining. I like making up games on set.” Describing himself as laid back, Owen says he doesn’t think he will get wound up by his fellow campmates. 

But if they do step out of line, he will tell them. “Hopefully I won’t get wound up by everyone,” says Owen. “If someone is out of order, then I will say something. But I don’t want it to cause any tension and hopefully they will stop. I don’t think I will cry either in the jungle but then again I cry at most films and sometimes even new food! “It’s going to be great to have a proper social detox in the camp too. I will enjoy having my phone completely taken away.”

Mike Tindall MBE

Mike Tindall MBE , former English Rugby Union player will be the first royal on prime-time reality TV, although he has not confirmed whether or not he needed the royal family's approval to appear on the show. Mike is 'aware of what he can and cannot say' about the royals on I'm a Celeb, according to a royal expert.

Mike - who is married to Princess Anne’s daughter Zara – says he knows as soon as his fellow rugby friends find out he is taking part in the hit ITV programme, they will be on speed dial to make sure he does all the trials. “I am fully aware that anyone who has ever played rugby will go, ‘Yeah let’s stitch him up’,” says Mike. “All my friendship group has that sort of humour and I know they will definitely want to vote for me! I am prepared to do quite a lot of challenges.”

The former England rugby ace has potential Instagram earrings of £2.9k per post. During his time in the jungle, Mike will be absent from his The Good, The Bad and the Rugby podcast which he does alongside James Haskell.

Mike reveals his friend and former I’m A Celebrity contestant, James Haskell, sang the programme’s praises so much, he decided to finally say yes. “It is sinking in now that I am taking part,” adds Mike. “I am ready to rumble! I have been asked on numerous occasions to take part. The timing was right this year and Hask (James) did the show and he had been talking about it.”

Asked what he will miss most, Mike instantly replies: “First and foremost, I will miss my family. I will miss my bed too and a nice breakfast.” Describing himself as an ‘open book’, he thinks his time in camp will be far tougher than any rugby international game. “I’m A Celebrity will be harder,” says Mike. “With a rugby game you know what you are going to get and when it gets hard, you know what it looks like. This is something you can’t predict; you don’t know where it will take you and so you can’t really plan for it. Your ability to roll with the punches is something you have got to have. Hopefully I have that and I won’t overthink things. Hopefully my personality suits this.”

Jill Scott MBE

Retired Lioness, former England footballer, Jill Scott could score another win for England if she makes it to the final of I'm A Celebrity. William Hill bookmakers have placed her as early second favourite to win the show alongside Olivia Attwood.

The former England Midfielder ended her career on a high, retiring after winning the European Championships this summer. Although the veteran did not start the game, she came on as a sub and provided one of the most iconic moments of the match when she unleashed an expletive rant aimed at Germany's Sydney Lohmann after a challenge in the middle of the park. That really endeared her to fans as England went on to win, even though Scott said after the game she wasn’t proud about being caught swearing on camera. Jill recently attended the Pride of Britain Awards where the team were honoured with the Inspiration Award. She also has a book out following her football retirement.

A self-confessed hard worker, Jill hopes to help her fellow campmates out if they are struggling. She also openly admits facing rats underground will be terrifying. The legendary football player explains: “I am intrigued as to how I will react in the trials. I don’t like rats or snakes and if I had to be underground that would be scary. That is literally like being buried alive! But I am looking forward to it all and meeting new people. I will help people if they are having a bad day. Everyone has got a story to tell and I love being part of a team. Hopefully we can create a good camp.” 

She says she knows she is going to find it tough having food rationed. She also isn’t sure how she will cope without a cup of coffee to start the day. “Aside from my family, I will definitely miss coffee and tea as I am a big coffee and tea drinker,” says Jill who is dating Shelly Unitt . “That is what starts my day and I am going to have to think of something else. 

“I have obviously never had to starve myself as I have always had food in terms of being able to exercise, so I will see how that goes. I do like my sleep and I can get hangry. “But I am looking forward to being off my phone. I have spent a lot of time on my phone recently and so it will be quite nice to not have to be somewhere at a specific time.”

Charlene White

Loose Women host Charlene White is swapping the ITV daytime panel show to face her fears, without her fellow panelists for back up. The ITV news presenter admits she can’t stop thinking about how she will feel if spiders crawl over her whilst she is asleep in the camp. 

Smiling, Charlene says, “I was fine until they mentioned big spiders can crawl all over me when I am asleep which has freaked me out! I can’t stop thinking about it. “There aren’t that many opportunities to have when you get older and it will be nice to see if I can do this. I’ve given birth to two kids in quick succession, survived that and lived to tell the tale! So, I feel it’s now right to take on another big challenge.”

The mum of two readily admits, however, it will be tough not being able to see or speak to her children whilst she is in the camp. “I will definitely get teary,” confides Charlene. “It’s a foregone conclusion. I am going to miss our daily routine with the kids, I am going to miss waking up with them and having quiet time before the school run and that’s what is going to get me tearing up. It will be weird. My partner is also mostly shocked I am doing this. We made the decision together but he was like, ‘I have no idea how you are going to cope!’ I am not a ‘need to wear make-up, nails’ kind of girl but I am not very outdoorsy. “In fact, I know the fact I am volunteering to choose to sleep outside will come as a massive shock to everyone at work, too!”

Determined to embrace everything on I’m A Celebrity, Charlene reveals she has been training harder at the gym to be as mentally prepared as she can be for what life has in store in the I’m A Celebrity jungle. “I don’t know what I will be like on no sleep,” she adds. “You could fast forward two weeks and have suddenly turned into Cruella Deville! “I have upped my gym training in the run up and I am doing a few more weights. None of us have ever been in this situation before so you can’t prepare. But if I feel body strong, then I know I will feel mentally stronger.”

Babatunde Aleshe

Gogglebox star and comedian Babatunde Aleshe has signed up for the Jungle but can he be as successful as former Gogglebox star and I'm A Celeb winner Scarlett Moffatt and walk away with the prestigious 'King of the Jungle' title?

He admits he will be doing a lot of screaming in the jungle as he faces up to his fears of ‘absolutely everything’. Revealing it took several attempts to persuade him to accept an offer because he is so scared, he says the thought of lying underground with rats, snakes and cockroaches being poured all over fills him with absolute horror. Given he is so petrified, has he considered getting hypnotised in the run-up to the new series? “No, there is nothing I can do,” he replies. “I am going to see what happens but I know I will be doing a lot of screaming for sure! I am not looking forward to any trials but in terms of the one I am dreading the most, I saw one where someone was lying in a box and they put things into the box like snakes and mice. Now that would freak me out. I think I will lose it!” 

He says his friend and Celebrity Gogglebox co-star, Mo Gilligan, finds it hilarious he is taking part. “I did confide in Mo,” he reveals. “Mo thinks it is going to be funny but he also thinks it is good I am taking part. He is far too busy though to vote for me for the trials but in his head, he will be!” 

Readily admitting he does not see himself winning the programme, Babatunde says he thinks going on I’m A Celebrity will, however, be a great opportunity for viewers to get to know him better. “Hopefully it won’t be a mistake,” he jokes before adding: “People are going to get to know me through this show a bit better and I just want to enjoy everything. I don’t want to be King of the jungle. I am quite happy to go back to normal life afterwards. But it will be a great adventure and my wife is excited and happy I am doing it.”

Scarlette Douglas

A Place in the Sun presenter Scarlette Douglas touched down in Australia as she heads for sunnier climes as part of the official I'm A Celebrity line up. Readily admitting she has an irrational fear of spiders, Scarlette says one of the hardest things about taking part in the hit ITV programme will be not being able to speak to her parents, who she calls four times a day. “To not be able to speak to mum and dad is going to be the hardest part of it for me,” explains the property presenter. “I call them four times a day and I am such a family person. 

“They are super proud and chuffed I am doing this. But my younger brother asked if I was sure I would be alright doing I’m A Celebrity as he knows what I am like about spiders. I don’t like the way they crawl, move and then when you have turned around they have gone.” 

“I am dreading any trial involving spiders and I am also dreading the food trial. It’s going to be hard too not being able to bring my seasoning into camp but I want to prove to everyone I can smash it!”

She says she ‘totally fancies’ comedian, Mo Gilligan, and would love it if he were to enter the jungle but to be able to create a lovely bond with all the campmates is what Scarlette is most looking forward to.

Speaking about the line up, Dom Aldworth, Head of Brand Marketing at Slingo, said, "From Love Islanders to Royals, this year's I’m a Celeb line-up is bound to get people talking. It will be interesting to see how these celebs handle the outback. With Olivia and Mike already being able to earn thousands from their Instagram posts it will be interesting to see how the show affects their earnings as they are sure to gain more followers.”

Seann Walsh

Strictly star and comedian Seann Walsh is pictured heading Down Under - four years after his 'strictly' snog with Katya Jones. A source told MailOnline, "Seann is an incredible signing for I'm A Celebrity and it's a real coup for ITV. His snog with Katya is the biggest scandal to have ever hit Strictly. People still talk about it."

"Seann has joked about his snog with Katya in his comedy sketches but he's never spoken in detail about their relationship.

"Life in the jungle is boring and those long hours around the campfire would be the perfect time for Seann to get talking."

Seann joined camp with Matt Hancock as two of the latecomers.

After being confirmed as one of the many stars joining the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2022 lineup, Mike Tindall has broken his silence over whether he got permission to enter the jungle from The Firm. 

The rugby pro, who is married to Zara Tindall, has now officially landed in Australia to take part in the reality show, which will air on November 6th. He will be joining the likes of Love Island’s Olivia Attwood and Radio X host Chris Moyles, as they endure jungle life and battle in the bushtucker trials for stars, which equal a meal in camp.

Mike Tindall’s involvement makes him the first-ever royal to ever take part in the show and now he’s spoken out for the first time about whether he received the ‘ok’ to go, from King Charles.

According to the Mirror, when asked if he’d sought permission from the royal family, Mike said, “It’s not something I need to tell you though is it."

He then added that while he thinks he’ll struggle with getting ‘hangry’ on the camp's rice and beans rations, “It should be good fun, why not? It is always worth a go isn't it?"

During the conversation, it was also hilariously pointed out to him that he could very well be crowned ‘King of the Jungle’ before King Charles’ coronation, to which he laughed and said, “I am not really thinking about that to be honest.”

Mike then revealed that Australia actually holds a special place in his heart, as it’s where he met his wife, Zara and admitted that he’ll miss the family while he’s away.

Laura Whitmore quit Love Island in a shock announcement that came not long after she'd been in sunny Mallorca filming the 2022 show. Almost immediately, rumours began to circulate about who would replace Laura Whitmore - with much of the speculation landing on ex-BBC Radio 1 presenter Maya Jama.

Now that it's been confirmed - with Laura Whitmore sharing that she's "delighted" for the new host - Love Island fans have been asking who is Maya Jama. But that's not the only question on viewers' lips, with many still wondering why did Laura Whitmore quit Love Island and what is she doing now?

Why did Laura Whitmore quit Love Island?

Laura Whitmore said she made the decision to quit Love Island "due to the format". Taking to Instagram, Laura uploaded a snap of her entering the villa and explained some of the factors behind her exit. 

She wrote: "Some news! I won’t be hosting the next series of Love Island. There are certain elements of the show I’ve found very difficult that cannot be changed some due to the format, including the flying back and forth to South Africa along with my new conflicting projects."

Laura, who gave birth to her daughter Stevie Ré in 2021, used to jet out for filming with her baby.

She added to the post: "I wish it was still possible but know you’ll be in safe hands. I was only planning to fill in for Caroline for a series and it turned into 3 series. I hope I did you proud Caroline."

However, since this initial announcement Laura Whitmore has gone into more detail about her experience presenting the show, seemingly making a dig at ITV bosses. In a recent interview, she said: "If I could have done things the way I wanted to, I'd probably still be doing it."

She went on to explain that she was forced to 'stay quiet' when it came to sharing her opinions with the islanders, and admitted that she struggled to stay impartial.

Her exit from the show means she isn't welcoming the Winter Love Island cast to the villa in 2023, a role which new host Maya Jama has taken over instead.

Former Love Island contestants showed their support for Laura, with winner of the first Winter Love Island, Paige Turley, commenting, "Gutted to hear this. You were amazing!! ❤️💔" and 2022 winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu adding: "You the best Laura 🔥❤️love you xx".

Equally, there has been an outpouring of support for Maya Jama in her new role. 2019 finalist Molly-Mae Hague commented on Maya's Instagram post announcing her takeover, saying, "You’re going to be amazing 😭", with Laura herself writing, "Yes girl!! So delighted for you! You’re gonna be fab".

What has ITV said about Laura leaving Love Island?

Following Laura's announcement, an ITV spokesperson said the channel is "grateful for everything she has brought to the programme," and that they "look forward to working with her on upcoming ITV projects."

They added: "Laura has been a fantastic host across the last three series of the show."

Following the news that Maya Jama had been appointed the show's new host, the channel's Director of Reality Programming, Paul Mortimer, said: "Finding a new host to follow the wonderful Laura Whitmore was never going to be easy. 

"In Maya Jama though, we have another high profile fan of the show who’ll be a great addition to the Love Island family. 

"Cool, charming and charismatic, I speak for us all when I say Maya will also bring a unique presenting style to the show, as did Laura and, of course, the very much missed Caroline Flack."

Laura Whitmore is staying in the TV industry, but has made the move to investigative journalism after sharing that she is working on a new TV project called 'Laura Whitmore Investigates'.

The show will launch on ITV's new free streaming platform, ITVX, and takes on a series of controversial issues that have an impact on our lives across the UK and further afield.

Speaking of the project, Laura said: "It’s a dream come true to have this platform and work with a brilliant team at ITV through this series of investigative films.

"Getting back to my journalistic roots, I hope we can shine a light on some really important topics and issues, and delve into a variety of serious and interesting real-life subjects."

Laura also hosts a true crime podcast with husband and Love Island voiceover Iain Stirling, called 'Partners in Crime'. New episodes air every Thursday and see Laura and Iain "uncover the most infamous and bizarre cases in true crime history."

How much was Laura Whitmore paid for Love Island?

According to the The Sun, Laura Whitmore is though to have been paid £600,000 to present the 2022 series of Love Island.

The figure left many shocked, as she appeared on screen for just under 14 minutes in total during the first few weeks of the show - which at that time had broadcast roughly 27 hours of footage in total.

Maya Jama is replacing Laura Whitmore as Love Island host, ITV confirmed. 

Maya, 28, who will begin hosting the first of two series filmed in South Africa from early 2023, said in a statement, "I’ve always been such a massive Love Island fan and I’m so excited to be hosting one of the nation’s favourite shows! I can’t wait to get into the Villa to meet all of the Islanders."

Both Maya and Love Island shared the news on their social media channels, with a video clip of Maya scrolling through stories about herself in the media about being a rumoured host.

Love Island captioned the video, "Okay, the rumours are true Say hey to your brand-new #LoveIsland host @mayajama!"

And Maya commented, "SO BLOODY EXCITED. GET ME ON THAT ISLAND. ❤️"

Bets on who is replacing Laura Whitmore on Love Island began when news broke of Laura's departure from the show, with Inbetweeners and Celebrity Juice star Emily Atack (5/1) and former Love Island star Maura Higgins (5/1) among the favourites, according to MyBettingSites which previously released a list of potential contenders of which Maya Jama was odds-on favourite at 2/1.

Laura Whitmore congratulated her, "Yes girl!! So delighted for you! You’re gonna be fab❤️xx"

And fans are delighted too. One commented, " They couldn’t have hired someone better!!!!!! 👏🏽"

Another fan put, "Yessssssssssssss!!!!!! Congratulations 🙌🏾✨"

Before it revealed who will be replacing Laura as host of the ITV2 dating show and Love Island Aftersun, the show released a statement following Laura's departure, it read, "Sadly Laura Whitmore has chosen to leave Love Island. Laura has been a fantastic host across the last three series’ of the show. We’re so grateful for everything she has brought to the programme but understand and respect her decision, and we look forward to working with her on upcoming ITV projects."

Laura seemingly hinted at knowing who the replacement was when she told fans "know you'll be in safe hands" as she made her shock exit announcement.

ITV’s Love Island has matched countless couples, with four of those leading to marriage and babies (yay!) but despite its track record, many have been asking which Love Island couples are still together now?

Let’s start with some good news: winners of last year’s series Jess Harding and Sammy Root are still going strong. 

They beat favourites Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nawacki to the £50,000 prize and the new spin-off show the Love Island Games promises to bring just as many dramatic re-couplings, twists and turns that we’ve come to expect, as well as some budding new relationships. 

This, along with The Romance Retreat (dubbed the Love Island for ‘grown ups’), is certainly filling the gaps while we wait for a summer of love to roll back around again.  

In the meantime, there have been a lot of updates since the couples left the villa. Here, we’ve done some digging to find out who’s still together as well as throwing it back to some of the couples from 2016 when the show started. 

Here’s a complete rundown of the couples who still have that sought-after connection. 

Which Love Island couples are still together in 2023?

1. Jess and Sammy – Love Island 2023

Jess and Sammy won the latest series of Love Island despite their turbulent journey. While it was clear that Jess was ‘all in’ for Sammy from the beginning, the 23-year-old from Kent had different ideas.

Casa Amor – a Love Island tradition where existing couples are split up and thrown in the mix with other constants – caused a stir between the two, and the couple was on and off until the final days of the show.

Making it official with a big gesture that all islanders were able to get involved with, Sammy asked Jess to be his girlfriend in front of the whole villa.

Our winners are still going strong, evidenced by Sammy’s Instagram post in September 2023, where he posted a gallery featuring photos of the pair at the National Television Awards (NTAs). 

2. Whitney and Lochan – Love Island 2023

Despite being voted as the viewers’ favourite couple, Whitney and Lochan had to settle for second place behind Jess and Sammy. 

The pair met at Casa Amor where it was clear they had a spark – and their strong connection is still going today. 

Like Sammy and Jess, the couple attended the NTAs and Whitney posted a gallery of images that showed them getting up close and personal on her Instagram account, captioned: “About last night”. 

Whitney even referred to Disney’s Tiana (The Princess and The Frog) in the last slide, where fans agreed that the reference was “spot on.” 

Since leaving the villa, the couple have been spotted taking trips to Ikea and TikTok videos have emerged of Lochan’s family teaching Whitney how to cook. 

3. Molly and Zach – Love Island 2023

Molly and Zach are arguably the most unlikely couple to have matched on the series. Influencer Molly Marsh is from Derbyshire, and Zach Noble, a personal trainer, calls South-East London (Lewisham) home. 

The villa was left shaken after Molly was sent home in an unexpected dumping, leaving Zach to ‘crack on’ with former contestant Kady McDermot. 

Although Kady admitted that she thought the spark needed work, Zach was keen to pursue things, until Molly reentered the villa with the Casa Amor contestants in a bid to get Zach back. 

The couple reunited and finished fourth place in the competition. They appear to be doing well from Molly’s most recent post on Instagram of the pair, simply captioned: “You.” 

4. Ella and Tyrique – Love Island 2023

Ella and Tyrique also had a rocky journey in the villa, but eventually won an admirable third place in the final. 

Matched by the public at the very start of the series, it seemed like the couple were made for each other, but comments from the semi-professional footballer gave Ella a few red flags. 

Separated for days during Casa Amor, sparks began to fly between Ella and Scottish model Ouzy See, with whom she had previously met. 

It was clear Ouzy was very interested and Ella decided to recouple and bring him back to the main villa, leaving Tyrique single. 

After a few days, Ella’s feelings for Tyrique continued to grow and he confessed to wanting her back as well.

Recoupling for the second time brought the pair back together and they have gone from strength to strength, with Tyrique telling the model he loved her in the final weeks of the show.

What’s more, the couple still seem very much in love. A quick snoop of Tyrique’s Instagram shows him and Ella on a little date day at Chigwell restaurant Sheesh, which also has the likes of Rochelle Humes and Vicky Pattison as followers. 

5. Kai and Sanam – Love Island 2023

Kai and Sanam won the latest series of winter Love Island, and were possibly the cutest couple the show has ever seen. The pair had already won the nation's hearts, but when they revealed their plan to invest some of their prize money in projects that help children, they solidified their status as worthy winners.

The pair got together during the Casa Amor segment of the show, with Sanam appearing as a bombshell. She was the only Casa girl to get picked to join the main villa, and subsequently became the only Casa Amor bombshell to have ever won the show. 

Prior to meeting Sanam, OG islander Kai had been coupled up with Tanyel, Samie and Olivia. He went into Casa Amor while still exploring a connection with Olivia, who made it clear at the end of the experiment that she wasn't happy with his decision to recouple - despite her also bringing a Casa Amor bombshell into the main villa. 

With Sanam now in the villa, Kai's days of playing the field looked to be over, and the couple won the series with 44% of the vote.

Still very much in love, Sanam shared a picture of her and Kai on Instagram attending the National Diversity Awards, explaining “what an honour and privilege” it was to present an award.

6. Will and Jessie – Love Island 2023

Aussie bombshell Jessie and Farmer Will, who met on the winter series of the hit show, are still very much an item and now both split their time between Will’s home county of Buckinghamshire and Jessie’s place Down Under. 

Fans of the show will remember they were together from pretty much the day she stepped into the villa, and were at one point tipped to win the show. 

It wasn't all smooth sailing, however, as Will almost lost Jessie after betraying her by kissing Layla in Casa Amor. He had to do some serious grovelling when he confessed to what he had done.

However, the pair moved past his mistake and went on to say 'I love you' during their time in the villa, with Jessie asking Will to be her boyfriend during their final date.

After filming wrapped, the pair headed straight to Will's farm, and revealed in the reunion that they plan to spend some time in London before making the trip over to Jessie's home in Tasmania.

In April this year, the pair announced plans to move in together, with Jessie saying she wanted to make a permanent home in the UK with Will. She recently took Will to visit her family in Tasmania, where she hadn't been for some time. 

The love they have for each other only seems to be getting stronger, as Will is “close to proposing” to the Aussie beauty. 

Will told the MailOnline that they’re both ready to take their relationship to the next stage and admitted that “we are creeping up to the ring.”

The couple were recently photographed at the Newbury County Show, sporting matching outfits of baseball caps and Nike dunks. 

7. Shaq and Tanya – Love Island 2023

Shaq and Tanya coupled up on day one of Love Island 2023 and made it all the way to the final, where they came in fourth place. 

But despite saying 'I love you' just a few weeks in, things went pear-shaped when Tanya decided to recouple with bombshell Martin in Casa Amor. Shaq, who had stayed loyal throughout, was devastated and told Tanya they were done.

But after Tanya made it clear she wanted only him, all was forgiven and the pair continued their romance - making it official during their final date in the villa. They then holidayed together less than a month after leaving the Villa. Fans that didn't expect their relationship to last are shocked the pair remain strong.

Proving that their love is more than just a summer romance, the pair have been enjoying yacht life on the Balearic Islands, and have also moved in together.

Announcing the news on Instagram with a picture of their two hands creating a heart shape holding some keys, Shaq captioned: “WE HAVE A NEW HOME 🏠❤️Guess there’s no escaping now 😅 Have to thank God always for this next step in our lives. Looking forward to this next chapter 🫶”. 

8. Dami and Inidyah – Love Island 2022

Despite both their heads turning during Casa Amor, Dami and Indiyah reunited before the end of the series and finished in third place.

In November 2022, the couple revealed they were taking the next big step in their relationship, and moving in together in London. They toasted the big day with a bottle of prosecco on Instagram and Dami captioned the photos, "Here's to annoying each other even more."

This summer 2023, the duo celebrated their one year anniversary as Indiyah took to Instagram to post a few memories, as well as a short clip of highlights from their time on the show. 

“Happy 1 year anniversary to us! You take the words out of my mouth every time, and I’m so grateful and happy that I get to do life with YOU, here’s to many more anniversaries and an amazing life together - I love you so so much and it still blows my mind that a year ago we didn’t know a thing about true love but I can say I found it with you, here to get on your nerves 4ever♥️ my whole heart, ya spuds really did turn into kisses☺️♥️”

9. Tasha and Andrew – Love Island 2022

After Andrew ditched Tasha for Coco during Casa Amor – before revealing some of the scandalous antics they had got up to in bed together – and Tasha brought Billy back with her to the main villa, it looked like things were over for this couple. But, several months on, Tasha and Andrew seem stronger than ever.

Paired by the public on day one, they made it all the way to fourth place. Since leaving the villa, the pair have spent Christmas in Guernsey with Andrew's family and been to Australia together to visit Tasha's brother. 

The pair moved in together in August 2022 and over a year on, Andrew and Tasha have a new addition to their family. 

Dubbing themselves “cool dog parents”, Tasha shared news with her followers that her and Andrew had just welcomed their rescue pup called Luna. 

Former Love Island host Laura Whitmore and TV personality Vicky Pattison were quick to say their congratulations and praised the couple for adopting. Cute!

10. Liam and Millie – Love Island 2021

Love is in the air again for Liam Reardon and Millie Court who were crowned the winners back in 2021. 

After leaving the villa, their romance continued to bloom but the couple decided to call it quits in summer 2022. 

Addressing their split on Instagram, Millie wished Liam all the best and explained how they’re “ready for new chapters”.

Now, after months of rumours that they were back together, the pair confirmed that they were very much back together – and fans are delighted with the news.

Speaking to Closer Online, the Welsh heartthrob said that he and Millie remained friends after they had broken up and always cared for each other. 

Liam admitted that he made the first move to try and rekindle things, with Millie adding: “We really cared about each other and it naturally happened.”

11. Nas and Eva – Love Island 2020

Nas Majeed and Eva Zapico, who coupled up late in the show after meeting in the Casa Amor villa, are now living together and they regularly share updates of their relationship and homelife on social media.

Nas was originally paired with Demi Jones, but he was clearly smitten with Eva as soon as he met her. And after the show ended and the country went into lockdown, the pair enjoyed socially distanced dates and finally went official in July 2020.

To say the couple is still going strong would be an understatement as they sparked engagement rumours in July 2023 during their holiday to Greece.

Nas captioned the images “With love from Greece” and fans were quick to speculate whether the couple were engaged after some claimed they could see a ring from the snaps.

12. Molly-Mae and Tommy – Love Island 2019

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury won over the nation’s hearts during series five, and it's unsurprising that they’re more in love than ever today. 

The couple live together in a six-bedroom mansion in Cheshire with their baby daughter Bambi, who was born in January 2023. They are now engaged. 

Tommy proposed to the former Pretty Little Thing Creative Director in July 2023, and Molly-Mae shared a sweet video of the romantic proposal to her 1.8 million followers on YouTube.

We also got to see more behind the scenes from Tommy and Molly in the debut series of At Home with the Furys on Netflix which amassed over 2.6 million viewers of the first episode, according to Barb, the UK’s official audience research group.

We can’t wait to see the couple officially tie the knot!

13. Camilla and Jamie – Love Island 2017

Commonly known as one of the ‘OG’ Love Island matches, Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt met towards the end of series three.

The couple are still going strong and they welcomed their first baby, Nell Sophia, in October 2020 and got engaged in February 2021. They tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in September that year at Gosfield Hall in Essex.

They welcomed their second child, a daughter named Nora, in May 2022.

The couple are pretty private, but they do regularly share sweet family snaps on their social media accounts.

The last family picture Camilla shared on social media was a family outing to Brentwood Fire Station where fans couldn’t believe how fast their daughters were growing up. 

14. Jess and Dom – Love Island 2017

Jess Shears and Dom Lever's relationship began quite controversially. Jess was brought in as a bombshell in series three, and stole Dom from Montana Brown.

The pair announced their engagement in September 2017, just months after coming out of the villa, and married in a secret ceremony in Mykonos in 2018.

They welcomed their first child, a baby boy called Presley in October 2019. They welcomed their second child, another boy, in June 2022. The couple have never announced the name of their second son, but regularly post family snaps on social media.

Speaking about their relationship in 2020, Jess said: “Every aspect of our life has changed since coming off the show. I wouldn’t have said I’d be here in three years, married with a baby.”

While Dom added: “I would say now I am the happiest I’ve ever been.”

15. Alex and Olivia – Love Island 2016

Alex and Olivia Bowen are another couple who proved doubters wrong by lasting the test of time.

The couple had quite a rocky romance on the second series of Love Island, and raised eyebrows when they announced their engagement in New York just six months later.

They tied the knot at Gosfield Hall in Essex in September 2018, making them the first Love Island couple to get married.

Sharing a wedding snap on their three-year anniversary last year, Olivia wrote on Instagram: "Three years, forever to go. I will never get bored of staring at these photos."

The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Abel, in June 2022. Announcing his arrival on social media, the couple wrote: "Abel Jacob Bowen. You are everything. 10/06/22."

Most recently, Olivia posted a gallery of photos to mark their five-year wedding anniversary and added: “May the adventures continue.” 

16. Cara and Nathan – Love Island 2016

Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey won the second series of Love Island in 2016 after coupling up on the first day.

However, the couple split in early 2017 and announced that Cara was pregnant just a month later, but reconciled before the birth of their son in November 2017.

Nathan took Cara back to the Love Island villa and proposed in 2018, and the couple married in 2019.

They announced they were expecting their second child together in March 2020 and welcomed a baby girl, in July 2020. 

Six years on from their 2016 series win, Cara and Nathan are a strong family of four with children Freddie-George, four, and Delilah, two. 

17. Luke Mabbott and Lucie Donlan

Luke Mabbott and Lucie Donlan didn't appear in the same series - Lucie was in the 2019 series and Luke 2020 - but the couple have been inseparable since they got together in 2020.

After a year together, Luke popped the question during a romantic trip to Finland in 2021.

Luke had previously been with Demi Jones, who he met on his series of Love Island, but the pair split a few months after the show.

Lucie has revealed how she slid into Luke's DMs in 2020, and the rest is history! 

She said: "We'll always be thankful for Love Island for putting us out there - but people forget we weren't actually on the same series.

"When I was watching the Winter Love Island series I said to my mum, 'He's perfectly suited to me.' He looks so much like Justin Bieber - when I was younger I always used to fancy Justin Bieber - he was my teenage crush.

When does Love Island 2023 finish?

Applause Store have confirmed that the Love Island Winter Grand Final 2023 will take place on Monday 13 March, 2023. The ticketing site states that guests should arrive by 20:30 in time for the 9pm start.

This confirmation date via Applause Store certainly matches what Love Island's voiceover star Iain Stirling said in the opening episode of the winter edition. He told viewers that the show will go on for 2 months - which, when calculated, also makes the final date as March 13.

Previous Love Island finals have always taken place on a Monday, following 8 weeks of fun in the sun. Take the 2022 series as an example, which started on Monday 6 June and ended on Monday 1 August 2022. Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu were crowned your winners and thankfully they remain one of the Love Island couples that are still together today.

Similarly the 2021 summer edition of Love Island lasted eight weeks with Liam Reardon and Millie Court announced as the winning couple on Monday 23 August. Though the two sadly confirmed their split on July 13, 2022 after just under a year together.

The length of Winter Love Island 2023 was initially a subject of hot debate. A source told The Sun: "There was speculation that the current series might only run for six weeks as that was the format for the first Winter Love Island outing in 2020.

"By the same token, there was talk last year that the summer series could be extended as ratings were so impressive thanks to the likes of Ekin-Su and Davide."

The same source went on to clarify to the publication that this year's Love Island will follow the same length as the ones before.

 Where is the Love Island final?

This year's Winter Love Island final takes place live at the same villa in South Africa. This differs from the summer series of Love Island 2022 which is filmed in Majorca.

The Love Island final usually consists of highlights of the couple’s last day in the villa, including sweet speeches to each other and a romantic dance, as well as their last dates. Maya will then chat to those who have left Love Island this series, plus the finalists live from the villa, with a lively audience in tow.

Can you get tickets to the Love Island final? 

Yes you can currently register for tickets to the Winter Love Island final. You'll need to either be living in South Africa or on holiday in Cape Town for when the final takes place on March 13. 

You can make your application via Applause Store for the last episode of Winter Love Island 2023. But please note you are not guarenteed a ticket when you apply. If you haven't received an e-ticket 24 hours in advance of the show, sadly you've been unsuccessful on this occasion.

"Some of our shows are incredibly popular, so all tickets are sent at random," Applause Store state of their ticket policy.

You must be over 18 to apply for tickets, and no cameras are allowed in the studio. But you do get to see the islanders close up in the flesh.

Tickets for the final of summer Love Island have previously been organised with FeelSummer - a company that specialises in event planning and packages in Cancun, Zrce Beach, Magaluf, Zante, Malia and Kavos. However, with Winter Love Island set in South Africa (and not Spain), tickets for the final are being organised via a different provider.

 Who are favourites to win Love Island 2023?

According to Paddy Power, Jessie and Will are currently the favourite couple to win this year's Winter Love Island. The couple are closely followed by other favourites lLana Jenkins and Ron Hall and Samie Elishi and Tom Clare.

"Jessie Wynter and Will Young appear to be back on track and heading for Love Island glory after some recent ups and downs," says James Leyfield of Gambling.com. 

"The pair are odds-on with betting sites to triumph in the series after Jessie forgave the farmer for kissing Layla Al-Momani during Casa Amor, and then again after she had to watch the footage during last week's Movie Night."

Love Island fans want to see this islander make a comeback in the upcoming winter season after they were dumped, less than a week after entering the villa

As the Love Island 2022 final approaches, fans are already looking to the next seasons and calling for this dumped islander to make a comeback for the Winter 2023 installment.

ITV has confirmed that the villa will return for both a winter and summer season next year after the winter series was put on hiatus. This means viewers will only need to wait a matter of months until a new host of islanders arrive in the villa (likely in South Africa, where the last Winter season was filmed) and they already have a past contestant in mind for the new lineup- dumped islander Nathalia Campos.

Bombshell Nathalia arrived alongside Lacey, Reece and Jamie in episode 45 (on July 22nd) and sparked some drama as she set her sights on Adam and Davide. Unfortunately, she did not find a romantic connection, so paired up with Reece in a friendship couple but after a public vote for the ‘Most Compatible Couple’, they were both dumped, alongside Deji and Lacey.

Taking to Twitter, Love Island fans have expressed their disappointment over the Brazillian bombshell being dropped so soon.

Youtuber Murad Merali, who has interviewed a number of dumped islanders on his channel, tweeted, “Nathalia was definitely wasted potential. She either should of came in earlier or for Love Island Winter.”

While another viewer wrote: “Nathalia should audition as a main for Love Island winter. She has potential & I like her.”

Fans are also calling for Casa Amor boy, Deji to return after he too was eliminated alongside Nathalia, with one Twitter user posting, “Get Deji & Nathalia back for Winter Love Island.”

As we’ve learned from season eight, the return of an ex-islander is not out of the realm of possibility as season four alum, Adam Collard made his dramatic return this year. He is now coupled up with Paige, who was originally paired with Jacques before he left the show.

The 2023 series will be only the second winter season of Love Island, after the spin-off was shelved due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Here's who left Love Island last night and the islanders who've made it to the final.

Winter Love Island started in January and it's safe to say everyone's favourite reality show has made a splash this series. Be it the presenting debut of Maya Jama, the antics of the new Love Island cast or the presence of TikTok sensation farmer Will Young, everyone's been talking about it. And of course the current subject of conversation is all about who left Love Island after the latest round dumping.

The first contestant was booted off after just 48 hours in the villa, and many more have been sent packing since. Now, two more islanders have been dumped - confirming which couples have made it to the Love Island final.

Who left Love Island last night?

On Sunday 14 March, Jessie Wynter and Will Young left Love Island following a public vote. The pair found themselves vulnerable after two other Love Island couples voted them least compatible.

Ron and Lana also received two votes and Kai and Sanam received one vote, but both couples were saved by the public. Will and Jessie's departure is unlikely to be a surprise to many, as they had found themselves in the bottom three in two previous public votes.

When leaving the villa, Jessie said: "I am so happy to be leaving with Will. Yes, we didn't make it to the final, but I actually feel so happy, we've achieved so much and we get to leave boyfriend and girlfriend."

Will added, "Honestly, best time of my life. Amazing experiences, beautiful love of my life girl. It was dreamy!"

Jessie and Will's departure means that the couples appearing in the Love Island final this series are Ron and Lana, Tom and Samie, Shaq and Tanya and Kai and Sanam.

Who has left Love Island in 2023?

1. David Salako

David Salako was the first to be dumped from the island on Friday 20 January. The 24-year-old Essex lad wasn't picked during the recoupling and left as a result.

The money advisor only entered the South African villa two days prior - immediately making a beeline for Tanya Manhenga. Despite his best efforts to woo the biomedical science student, Tanya chose to stick with Shaq - who she's been coupled up with since day 1.

Islander Lana Jenkins was the last to pick her partner, and after choosing to recouple with Will, David was unfortunately sent home. 

Of the recoupling, David said: "I didn’t know who Tanya was going to pick. It was a 50/50 split between Shaq and I. Me and Tanya did have a good bond. We just found it easy to have a conversation with each other. But maybe that’s all it was between us, just good conversation."

Before leaving the villa for good, David shared some advice for the Islanders going forward. "I feel like people need to be a bit more confident with how they feel," he said. "People are scared of hurting other people’s feelings, which is obviously OK. No-one wants to hurt anyone’s feelings. But you’ve just got to be a bit selfish in there." 

2. Anna-Mae Robey and Haris Namani

Islanders Anna-Mae Robey and Haris Namani left Love Island on Wednesday 25 January. The pair were chosen to leave the villa by new Aussie bombshells Jessie and Aaron.

Anna and Haris were two of six islanders who were deemed at risk of leaving on Tuesday night's episode. Tanyel, Tania, Tom and Kai made up the rest of the six, though they were saved by Jessie and Aaron on the night. The two new additions had to choose one boy and one girl to leave the island in Wednesday night's episode.

Of leaving the show, Anna-Mae told ITV: "I had such an incredible time, I’ve made really good memories and friends that will last a lifetime.

"It’s definitely something I would do again, I have no regrets because I’ve had the best ten days of my life!

Some Love Island viewers weren't surprised to see Haris leave, after some controversy surrounded the 21-year-old in the last few days. An old video recently surfaced online of him involved in a fight with another guy. In the video Haris can be seen punching the other man twice, and shouting "I'm not a bully, I'm not a f***ing bully," before turning away from his victim and saying, "On my mum's life."

A Love Island representative issued a statement following the video's release stating that "Language and behaviour in the villa is always closely monitored, and Islanders are reminded of what we consider acceptable during their time on the show. 

"Extensive duty of care protocols for all Islanders includes video training and guidance covering language and behaviour."

Haris has also weighed in on the video, since leaving the villa. "I’m devastated that this video has been seen, it’s not a reflection of my character," he said. "I’m not someone that goes looking for fights and I didn’t want to be in that situation. This was a heat of the moment thing. 

"The video doesn’t show everything that happened. Afterwards we met up and we cleared the air; we’ve shaken hands and we get along now." 

3. Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown

Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown left Love Island in the episode broadcast on Wednesday 1 February. It was the boys' turn to choose who they wanted to couple up with, and when Zara wasn't chosen by anyone, she was forced to leave the villa.

25-year-old Zara is model and property developer from London, and she entered the villa as a bombshell on day 3. After being coupled up with fellow islander Tom Clare, the pair called it quits when during a game of truth and dare Tom revealed that he thought Zara's rival Olivia Hawkins had the "best face" while she had the "best body". In the recoupling, Tom chose to couple up with Ellie Spence and Zara was left single.

On leaving Love Island, Zara said: "Of course it's bittersweet to be leaving the villa tonight - I did have a great time in there despite the ups and downs.

"Clearly the right person for me is on the outside and I'm fine with that. Queen Z is still looking for her king."

Fans were disappointed to see her go, with on fan writing on Twitter, "can’t believe zara’s going home after what she’s been through it’s UNFAIR," while another said, "PLEASE do a twist and bring her back , you’ve done it before and you can do it again!"

The episode saw a lot of movement among the other couples too. Kai swapped Tayel for bombshell Samie, while Aaron stole Lana from Ron after the latter decided he wanted to get to know new islanders rather than commit to Lana.

4. Aaron Waters and Spencer Wilks

Aaron Waters and Spencer Wilks left Love Island in the recoupling on Sunday 5 February. They were both left vulnerable after a public vote, alongside fellow islander Kai Fagan, who was saved by the girls.

When explaining the decision the girls made, Islander Olivia Hawkins said, "It wasn't an easy decision at all, but we have decided to dump these two boys from the island because even though we believe that they both are in here for genuine reasons, we think that there may be a stronger connection that has been formed over the past few days."

Olivia was referencing her own connection with Kai, which had blossomed in the days leading up to the recoupling after she and Tom called things off, just as Kai decided to put an end to his time coupled up with Tanyel.

When leaving the villa, Spencer said: "It's a shame. Me and Tayel had kind of just really started to get to know each other. There's a time to leave for everyone, but [I] didn't find love."

Aaron added, "It's bittersweet. I don't regret anything, I think I was myself the whole way through. And you know, when one door closes another one opens and I feel like I'm excited."

5. Tanyel Revan

Tanyel Revan was dumped from the Island during a recoupling broadcast on Thursday 9 January. The boys chose who they wanted to couple up with, and at the end of the recoupling Tanyel was left single.

After Tanyel and Kai split, Tanyel was getting to know Spencer. But Spencer left the Island on Sunday 5 February, leaving Tanyel with limited options. She had been getting to know Jordan, but Jordan was also interested in Ellie, who he ultimately decided to couple up with.

Jordan said when he chose Ellie to couple up with: "I've decided to couple up with this girl because since coming into the villa she's been very warm to me. I feel like when we have conversations it's effortless, it's natural, and although I see it as a platonic friendship right now, I do think something potentially could be there."

On leaving Love Island, Tanyel said: "I had the most amazing time. I came in single and I'm coming out single, but I'm more than happy because I didn't force anything and I stayed true to myself.

"There wasn't the kind of man I wanted in the villa, but the type I'm looking for is gonna be out there and I'm gonna find him."

Her departure left many of the Islanders in tears, in particular Ron and Sammie, both of whom she'd struck up a close friendship with. 

6. Jordan Odofin and Ellie Spence

Jordan Odofin and Ellie Spence left Love Island on Friday 10 February in a shock dumping brought on by a public vote. The couple received the least votes and therefore were forced to leave the show.

The other two couples left vulnerable after the public vote were Tom Clare and Samie Elishi, and Kai Fagan and Olivia Hawkins. After a tense moment around the firepit, fellow Islander Ron Hall revealed that it was Ellie and Jordan who were going home.

After leaving the villa, 25-year-old Ellie said, "I feel like I was just about to find my husband, so I'm sad to be leaving but it was an amazing experience."

She added: "I think we definitely both came in here looking for love and looking for that special person, but we both found a really nice friendship in each other so that's nice."

28-year-old Jordan said, "Similar to Ellie, I'm trying to find a wife. But, you know, I enjoyed my time in the villa. Good things must come to an end, so I'm excited to see what's out there for me."

7. Casa Amor bombshells

Thursday 17 February saw nine people dumped from Love Island after the Casa Amor recoupling. The Casa Amor bombshells who left the Island were Cynthia Otseh-Taiwo, Lydia Karakyriakou, Layla Al-Momani, Lynda Flix, Kain Reed, Ryan Weekley, Sammy James, Frankie Davey and Bayley Mummery. 

Unsurprisingly, the Casa Amor recoupling brought a lot of drama with it. Dumped Islanders Cynthia, Lydia and Layla all felt they had formed connections during their short time on Love Island, and made it clear that they were surprised to not have been chosen.

Cynthia had been getting close to Casey O'Gorman, who chose to stick with Claudia Fogarty, while Lydia had shared a few kisses with Tom Clare, but he chose to stay coupled up with Samie Elishi. Will Young shocked the returning girls when he revealed he'd shared a kiss with Layla, despite being happily coupled up with Jessie Wynter before Casa Amor.

In addition, Shaq Muhammad was left single after Tanya Manhenga brought Irish bombshell Martin Akinola back from Casa Amor with her.

8. Martin Akinola

Martin left Love Island in the episode that aired on 24 February. He was left single during a recoupling due to Tanya choosing to couple up with Shaq, meaning Martin was forced to leave the show.

Martin didn't have an easy ride on the show. After Tanya brought him back from Casa Amor with her, he was pretty swiftly cast aside when she rekindled her relationship with Shaq. On his way out of the door, Martin said: "I’m not gonna say it was the best experience but it wasn’t, it is up there in the top ones. Tanya, no hard feelings, you did nothing wrong."

However, he added in his exit video, "Genuinely, I think Shaq might be in love with [Tanya]. But I don’t think she’s in love with him."

9. Olivia Hawkins, Maxwell Samuda, Claudia Fogarty and Keanan Brand

In a dramatic episode aired on Friday 3 March, four contestants were dumped from Love Island. The Islanders chosen to leave were Olivia Hawkins, Maxwell Samuda, Claudia Fogarty and Keanan Brand.

Olivia and Maxwell's exit had been revealed the day before, on the episode aired on Thursday 2 March, after the pair came bottom in a public vote. However, the end of the episode saw host Maya Jama reveal Olivia and Maxwell would have to choose two other Islanders to leave with them, and it wasn't until Friday that is what revealed they had chosen Claudia and Keanan.

Claudia and Keanan had also been left at risk after the public vote, as well as Shaq and Tanya and Casey and Rosie. The pair were coupled up as friends, after Casey moved away from Claudia to pursue a connection with Rosie, while Keanan had also found a spark with fellow bombshell Rosie.

When explaining the decision to dump Claudia and Keanan, Olivia said, "This has been a really difficult decision for both of us. Do you keep a couple in the could potentially rebuild a flame? Do you keep a boy and a girl that haven't had enough time in here?

"It's been very difficult to make this decision, there's so many options we could have gone for."

Upon leaving Love Island, Claudia said, "Casey’s the sort of guy I’d take home to my parents. I definitely saw potential. It surprised me towards the end how he handled things because I felt like we could have worked on the outside."

Meanwhile, Keanan added, "‘My time was cut short but I’m confident that if I had another two weeks, more could’ve happened [with Rosie]…and we might have ended up in a couple."

10. Casey O'Gorman and Rosie Seabrook

On Tuesday 7 March, Casey O'Gorman and Rosie Seabrook left Love Island. The dumping was a result of a public vote that saw Casey and Rosie revealed as the public's least favourite couple.

The pair were the newest couple in the villa, having only been coupled up for a few days after bombshell Rosie chose Casey - who was previously coupled up with Claudia Fogarty - in the most recent recoupling. 

Shaq and Tanya and Jessie and Will also found themselves at risk of being dumped following the public vote.

In their exit interview, Casey said, "I'm absolutely gutted to be leaving such an amazing group of people. I'm gonna miss my boys Tom and Will, but to be leaving with Rosie - what I've been looking for - is absolutely amazing."

Rosie added, "I've had the best time in there. I feel the journey's just started."

ITV has released a statement defending presenter Laura Whitmore after viewers raised complaints over the host’s questions during Love Island: Aftersun

ITV says it will not ‘condone trolling’ after Love Island Aftersun’s host, Laura Whitmore receives 427 Ofcom complaints, over questions asked on the show.

This comes after the popular dating show was hit with 3000 complaints following the Mad Movies and Snog Marry Pie Challenges, with viewers citing ‘misogyny’ and alleged ‘bullying’ from some of the male contestants. 

Of the 3000 Ofcom complaints, 427 were directed toward Laura Whitmore’s comments on spin-off show Aftersun, after she quizzed her panel of guest stars about Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu’s Casa Amor antics with George Tasker. The clip was shown during the Movies challenge episode to very controversial reactions from the male islanders.

Talking to her panel, Laura said, “Once again Ekin-Su swore that nothing happened with George and it seems Davide doesn’t believe her,” before opening up the floor to theories. The discussion prompted an outcry from viewers, who also voiced concerns over Laura’s interview with Jacques O’Neill, who quit the villa after the arrival of Adam Collard.

In response, ITV has responded to Goodto.com's request for comment, saying, "Laura is the presenter of the show, and part of that role is to pose questions to the panel and discuss events in the Villa. 

"We do not condone trolling against either our host or our Islanders and any subsequent elevation of these comments."

In regards to Jacques, ITV reps also responded saying, “We had various measures in place to ensure Jacques' welfare was prioritised at all times ahead of and during his appearance on Aftersun. 

"This included a full briefing with show producers to outline the show's content and likely questioning, a conversation with Laura before and after the show was recorded, and chaperoning from both a welfare producer and a member of his family while he was in studio. Should an Islander not wish to participate in the Aftersun recording, we would always respect that decision." 

The reaction from viewers has also caused a number of charities, including Refuge to release statements about the worrying behaviors displayed. Women’s Aid has now announced that they are working with Love Island producers to challenge and combat the behavior ahead of the Love Island final.

In an Instagram post, they confirmed, “Following heightened backlash after a recent episode, we are happy to be in discussions with @ITV @LoveIsland about how we can work together moving forward.”

Love Island airs weeknights with Love Island: Aftersun aired live on Sunday nights 9-10pm on ITV2 and on the ITVHub with a special highlights show Love Island: Unseen Bits aired on Saturday nights.

Ofcom has received over 3,000 complaints from Love Island viewers after the Mad Movies and Snog Marry Pie challenges. 

Love Island 2022 is facing major backlash, as Ofcom receives over 3,000 complaints over ‘misogynistic’ behavior and ‘bullying,’ following the return of the Mad Movies and Snog Marry Pie challenges.

Viewers of ITV2’s hit dating show have been calling out the behaviour of several of the Islanders, with just over a week left before the Love Island 2022 final. Viewers and a number of charities have complained over the alarming ‘misogynistic’ and ‘bullying behaviour’ following the return of the show's notorious tasks.

The Mad Movie's challenge saw the islanders view clips of their 'unseen' antics during Casa Amor and the week following - with the likes of Luca Bish having an explosive reaction after seeing Gemma Owen's clip. With several of the other male contestants being accused of 'double standards' over their treatment of both Tasha and Ekin-Su.

Following the conclusion of the Mad Movies challenge on Sunday's (July 17th) episode - the government watchdog received a whopping 2,481 complaints, with viewers citing the reasons as ‘alleged misogynistic behaviour' from some of the male islanders.

Meanwhile, in the latest round of evictions, two islanders were voted off the show last night.

After the airing of the 'Snog Marry Pie' game the following day, Ofcom then received a further 413 complaints, this time with viewers claiming the episode featured, ‘alleged bullying and misogynistic behavior' again from the men in the villa.

In response to viewer outcry, a number of charities like Women’s Aid and Refuge have released statements.

Women’s Aid has announced that they are in talks with ITV over the claims with Tessa Parker, Head of Communications and Media Relations at the organisation saying, “This is clearly more than talking about any individual contestants, and a programme based around the formation of romantic relationships must have guidelines on what behaviour is acceptable and unacceptable in those relationships.”

Refuge has also called out the show, with a statement posted to Twitter and Instagram, that read, “Refuge is increasingly concerned about the misogynistic and abusive behaviours being displayed in this year’s series of Love Island.

“Love Island has a huge audience, particularly amongst young people and Refuge urge the producers of the show to recognise and respond to abusive behaviour when it happens.

"Popular culture has an important role to play in challenging these behaviours rather than perpetuating them.”  They too have offered their input to Love Island producers.

ITV has now responded to Goodto.com's request for comment, stating: "We cannot stress highly enough how seriously we treat the emotional well-being of all of our Islanders. Welfare is always our greatest concern, and we have dedicated welfare producers and psychological support on hand at all times, who monitor and regularly speak to all of the Islanders in private and off camera. 

"At the same time, we also have a duty of care towards the Islanders, none of whom have any means of defending themselves against these highly damaging labels, as well as a duty of care towards their next of kin, and we are naturally concerned that this could provoke a negative response on social media."

ITV concluding their response, saying, "Ahead of this series, contributors on the show were offered video training and guidance covering inclusive language around disability, sexuality, race and ethnicity, behaviours and microaggressions. We are always looking at how we expand and evolve on this training to ensure that all of our Islanders feel they are part of a safe and inclusive environment."

What time does Love Island start and finish tonight?

Tonight's episode of Love Island starts at 9pm, ending at 10:05pm. Viewers are no doubt eager to see how the new bombshells have been settling in - after making their introductions in the previous episode.

In last night's installment, Billy and Summer left Love Island but were swiftly replaced by Reece, Jamie, Nathalia and Lacey. Already ruffling a few feathers, new girls Nathalia and Lacey were given a tour of the villa by Davide - much to the non-amusement of his partner Ekin-Su.

Islander Danica was however more enthusiastic about welcoming the new arrivals - having ended her coupling with Billy only a day earlier. She and Deji - who is also single - will no doubt be hoping to have caught the eye of the four newbies.

How long is each Love Island episode?

On average, a typical Love Island episode lasts for an hour. However, some special episodes in the past have aired for just over an hour and a half. For example, the season 8 premiere on June 6, lasted for 95 minutes.

Following the aftermath of Casa Amor and THAT dramatic recoupling - an episode on Friday 8 July was also extended by an extra 20 minutes. The Love Island final is also likely to be over the usual 60 minutes time slot. With last year's finale airing for 95 minutes.

What time does Love Island go on ITV Hub?

Jamie confesses to enjoying Danica's eyes and confidence during the date - and in another clip confesses to Nathalia that Danica is definitely a bit of him. Could this finally be the love match Danica has been waiting for?

Why has Jacques left Love Island might well be the question on your mind if you missed the most recent instalment of the hit ITV show which saw him depart from the iconic villa.

From the moment Love Island 2022 started there’s one major moment that many fans will have been eagerly anticipating as the drama, tears and betrayals built up between this year’s couples. After all, there’s nothing like Casa Amor to put the Islanders’ relationships to the ultimate test (and treat us to some extended Love Island episode finish times!) Whilst some couples remained blissfully unaffected by any Casa upheavals (aww for Davide and Ekin-Su!), for others it seemed to have been the beginning of the end for their romance - crushing their chances of reaching the Love Island final together.

Jacques O’Neill and Paige Thorne were amongst those whose relationship was strained by Casa Amor. The professional rugby league player attempted to explain why he tried to test his connection to paramedic Paige by kissing Cheyenne, but he was still very much in the doghouse. 

Enter returning Islander Adam Collard and the drama levels in the villa increased once again with the new arrival. 

Now Jacques has left Love Island with the emotional scenes showing just how much his leaving has impacted his fellow contestants. And if you’ve been wondering - why has Jacques left Love Island? - we now have an answer for you! 

Why has Jacques left Love Island?

On July 12th ITV made the announcement that Jacques was leaving Love Island and confirmed that the Islander himself would be explaining his reasons for doing so that night and that it was his decision. In scenes aired on the latest instalment Jacques explained, through tears, that he was leaving Love Island because he wanted to “get back to [himself” and be his best self for Paige.

He told Paige, who was also left tearful over his revelation on the terrace, that he felt he wasn’t able to be himself whilst in the villa.

"You mean so much to me, you know that. I've been trying to put a brave face on but things are getting to me," he told her. “Basically, like, I just wish I could finish my journey off with you in here, but I'm gonna go home today.”

"You’re still enjoying your time here. I’m not. You just do what you need to do and listen, I'll be waiting for you, I will," Jacques added. "Just do what you have to do, it’s fine. Don't even think about me when I leave."

After Paige explained how hurt she is to see him like this, Jacques explained that his desire for them to “work” as a couple means he needs to start feeling like himself again.  

"I just know for us to work I need to get back to myself and the only way I'm gonna get back to myself is going home,” he said. “So that's what I'm gonna do coz I can't carry on like this. I just can’t do it.”

Wiping away her own tears, Paige expressed guilt that she wasn’t leaving with him, before they eventually asked the others to gather round the iconic firepit to break the news. 

Echoing what he’d just told Paige, Jacques shared, “So I feel like, lately, I just can't be myself so I'm trying my best but I'm not a fake person and I'm not gonna start faking things and act like I'm ok when things inside aren’t actually ok, so I'm gonna be leaving today."

"I just can't stick around and not be myself, it's not fair to me and it's definitely not fair to Paige,” he continued, before revealing once again that he hopes to rekindle his romance with her on the outside. 

He said, "For me and Paige to work I need to be at my best and if that means removing myself from the situation and waiting for Paige when she gets out, that's what I'm gonna do, so I'm gonna be leaving now.” 

The reason why Jacques has left Love Island was a deeply personal one and many of his fellow Islanders were left emotional by the decision. Luca in particular was devastated as the two had been close ever since the rugby player entered the villa.

Meanwhile Love Island fans were quick to share their own reactions to his departure on social media after the latest episode aired.

“no i’m acc so sad i loved jacques”, one fan declared as several more revealed they were also in tears after he broke the news to the other contestants. 

“Not me balling my eyes out at the tv”, a second person responded. 

Whilst someone else agreed, writing simply, “OMG I’m in bits”. 

“It is emotional……. Brave decision young man x  wish you well”, another posted sympathetically. 

Though Jacques has left Love Island his departure will likely continue to be felt for quite some time, especially by Paige. Four years after his first appearance on the show, Adam Collard - also known as the 'bad boy' of series four - is making a return to Love Island. The new addition to the villa was revealed at the end of Sunday's show, as narrator Iain Stirling whispered 'guess who's back' in characteristically dramatic fashion, before ending on a cliff hanger. On that night's Aftersun, host Laura Whitmore was aghast, saying of the surprise announcement "This has never happened before."

The villa has seen plenty of drama in recent days, as the islanders grapple with the fallout from the recent Casa Amor, and now one couple is facing being dumped. The arrival of Adam is sure to add fuel to the fire, so here's everything you need to know about the returning islander, plus who's hoping to make it the the Love Island final the second time around.

Who is Adam Collard from Love Island?

He's from Newcastle

Adam Collard is 26-years-old, born on October 26 ‎1995, and still lives in Newcastle now. Prior to entering Love Island he worked as a personal trainer in Newcastle, saying in his tape at the beginning of the series "I get paid to train girls which isn't exactly a bad thing, spending time with them every hour of the day."

He first joined the Love Island villa four years ago as a shock arrival on day 1 of the series and was on the show for just over a month, before being dumped at the hands of fellow islanders Wes Nelson and Georgia Steel.

He first appeared in series four

Adam first entered the villa back in 2018, when he was 22 years old, alongside the likes of Megan Barton-Hanson, Dr Alex George and Winners Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer.

He entered the villa on day one as part of a twist which allowed him to steal one of the girls from another boy, and it's fair to say he continued to cause chaos throughout his time on the island. During his 32 days on the show, Adam coupled up with four different girls.

This year's show hasn't been short of surprises, starting with Liam's shock exit, and it sounds like Adam plans to cause some more drama his second time round in the villa, saying of his return “I’m going to ruffle feathers when I go in.” With several of the girls, Tasha Ghouri, Indiyah Polack and Paige Thorne, in less than stable couples, Adam has a good chance of making his mark in the villa.

What did Adam Collard do in Love Island

As a late arrival on day one, Adam was given 24 hours to decide which girl he wanted to couple up with. He chose Blackpool beauty queen Kendall, but it wasn't long until he moved on to new arrival Rosie, who he shared a kiss with during a game of truth or dare, resulting in Kendall being dumped from the island.

Adam stayed with Rosie until day 20 of the show, when he moved on to another bombshell, Zara McDermott. In a conversation that left many viewers enraged, Adam was seen smirking at Rosie when she confronted him about his interest in Zara.

But it wasn't long before Adam moved on again, after his head was turned by Darylle Sargeant in Casa Amor. However, after the pair were dumped on day 32 of the show, Adam and Zara decided to try and make things work on the outside.

Adam and Zara McDermott dated for eight months

Zara left the villa before Adam, after a public vote landed her in the bottom three girls and her fellow islanders chose for her to leave. Adam was dumped a few days later and the couple reunited back in the UK.

However, things didn't work on the outside and the pair split up in 2019. At the time, Zara wrote on Instagram: "I am heartbroken to announce that Adam and I have parted ways.

"I love him very much and will always have a special place in my heart for him & our time together. I have tried so hard to be the best person I can possibly be and to make it work. Sometimes in life, you just aren’t enough for someone; no matter what you do for them or how much you try to be."

However, not long after the split Zara started dating Made in Chelsea's Sam Thompson, and they're still going strong three years later. In fact, Sam shared a video on his Instagram of Zara's reaction to Adam's return, in which he can be heard saying "Who's this guy? Who's this absolute animal? It's your ex boyfriend, no way!"

He's been single since January 2020

While Zara has settled down, Adam is still single. However, he was briefly in a relationship with beauty influencer Sarah Godfrey. In September 2019 the pair went public, with Adam confirming the relationship on Instagram with a picture of a date at the Tomahawk Steakhouse in Newcastle, while Sarah shared a photo of them on holiday in Morocco. However, it didn't last and the couple called it quits in January 2020.

Since then, Adam has been linked to TOWIE's Demi Sims, after he was spotted kissing the reality star in March 2020. However, no relationship was ever confirmed.

Love Island isn't the only reality show he's appeared on

Adam has also made an appearance on Geordie Shore. Although he had previously said he'd turned down the chance to join the show, calling it 'brainless', a video emerged in 2018 that showed him getting close to cast members Holly Hagan and Chloe Ferry.

In 2019, it was rumoured that Adam would be joining the show on a permanent basis, after a source told The Sun "Geordie Shore has undergone some huge changes this year and after they culled off the bigger names and brought in new faces, they've realised they need more star quality. Adam’s got a huge following after Love Island and is the perfect fit for the show."

They also said "Adam was approached about joining and after mulling it over is preparing to sign up."

However, the rumours were never confirmed and Adam didn't appear on the show.

He's a personal trainer

Adam was a personal trainer before he appeared on Love Island and has continued to be in the years since. He's now the founder of Sculpt Fitness, a gym in Newcastle, offering drop-in sessions and online coaching as well as e-books and newsletters. As part of the '60 day sculpt challenge', gym-goers can join an online programme hosted by Adam himself, for £97. 

Adam also has a YouTube channel, where he posts fitness-related content, and a podcast called 'The Lift Laugh Life Podcast', where he talks to guests about about their lives, businesses and fitness.

Yes, Aftersun is filmed live with a live audience. It airs live every Sunday at 10pm for an hour and five minutes, straight after the main show. The show consists of interviews with dumped Islanders, friends and family members and also features celebrity guests.

Where is the Winter Love Island villa 2023?

Winter Love Island 2023 has retuned to Cape Town, South Africa, and is filmed at the Ludus Magnus estate in Franschhoek.

The estate is surrounded by vineyards and famed for French heritage and cuisine, and it's sustainable too, with 266 solar panels generating the luxury accommodation's electricity.

This is a different location to the previous series of Winter Love Island that aired in 2020, which was filmed at the Midden Cottage, located in the Constantia suburb of Cape Town.

Winter Love Island has started, and it's turned out to be an action packed series already. But viewers are now starting to ask when does Casa Amor start?

Since 2017, during each Love Island series the boys and girls have been split up for a few days - with the half the contestants heading over to a second villa: Casa Amor. There, contestants are greeted by a host of new bombshells, as are the islanders who remain at the main villa. It's always a dramatic time - much like the final when Love Island finishes - as Islanders have the choice to either couple up with someone new, or stick with their original partner.

Now that Winter Love Island 2023 is in full swing, fans of the show are keen to see the return of the second villa shake up the Love Island cast. In Spanish, Casa Amor means 'Love House', but it often brings more drama than it does love - we take a look at what we can expect from this year's twist, and investigate when Casa Amor might start and when Casa Amor ends...

When does Casa Amor start in Winter Love Island 2023?

Casa Amor usually comes around halfway through the series, after four weeks. This year's Winter Love Island started on January 16, so it looks like Casa Amor will arrive in the week beginning February 13.

In addition, a source quoted in the Mirror has suggested that Casa Amor is just days away. They revealed, "Casa Amor starts filming this weekend and then viewers will see the explosive fall out next week. It'll be one of the most dramatic Casa Amor splits ever as apart from two couples, all the relationships are so fragile. Fans won't want to miss it."

However, Love Island is yet confirm when Casa Amor will happen in the current series, and the date usually isn't revealed until a day or two before. While it usually takes place around the fourth week of the show - roughly the halfway point - it's not always in the same episode. 

Previously, the twist has made an appearance at various points between episode 20 and 30, so it's hard to know exactly when Casa Amor will be sprung on the Islanders.

A source recently revealed to the Sun that Casa Amor this year may include a major twist. The source said: "Casa Amor's inhabitants have always been able to relax in the knowledge that the people they're coupled up with are miles away.

"Well not any more - if there's any wild partying going on, the main villa may well be able to hear it.

"This year, it really could be a case of having trouble with the neighbours as the bombshells try to crack couples apart."

How many nights is Casa Amor in Love Island?

Casa Amor usually lasts around three or four nights - long enough for heads to potentially be turned and for the infamous postcards to be sent back to the main villa.

Contestants are then asked at the end of the stint whether they want to stick with their original partner, or couple up with one of the new Islanders.

But what makes it more tense is that their partner won't know whether they've chosen to stick or split until they're reunited in the main villa.

The original contestants and the ones who have been chosen from Casa Amor to stay are then reunited and continue on in the main villa together, dealing with the aftermath of those relationships which didn't last the Casa Amor experiment.

What happens in Casa Amor?

Since its arrival in season 3 in 2017, Casa Amor has seen many heads get turned in and it's even ended relationships as the contestants get to know new Islanders away from the watchful eyes of the opposite sex.

Last year, it created controversy when Andrew Le Page hooked up with Coco Lodge behind Tasha Ghouri's back, and favourite couple Dami and Indiyah both brought a new Islander into the main villa with them.

Chaos also followed when Cheyanne revealed in front of the contestants that her and Jacques had formed a connection, despite him deciding to stay coupled up with Paige. In a heated argument between the pair, Paige stormed away from Jacques, saying, "He wants his cake and he wants to eat it. This isn't a buffet."

Even solid couples Gemma and Luca and Ekin-Su and Davide had tense conversations at the end of Casa Amor, with Luca feeling like a "muppet" for sleeping outside the whole time while Gemma shared a bed with someone else, and Ekin-Su fuming after Mollie revealed she had shared a kiss with Davide.

Other infamous moments that have come from Casa Amor include Liam Reardon cracking on with bombshell Lillie despite ultimately deciding to stay with Millie Court, and Josh Denzel betraying Georgia Steele when he returned from Casa Amor with Kaz Crossley in series 4.

When does Winter Love Island start?

Winter Love Island starts on Monday 16 January 2023 at the usual time of 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. This year's show has a new location and presenter - with Maya Jama ready to host the island action from South Africa. 

The start date coincides with Blue Monday, which some could see as a deliberate move by show bosses to banish the blues. "Love Island bosses have planned for the show to start on Blue Monday – which is bound to give fans a massive lift on such a gloomy day," a source told Birmingham Mail. "This year’s contestants will be flown out to South Africa earlier in January and will start filming for the first episode the day before."

2023 is proving to be THE year for Love Island fans, with two series planned to take place. It all kicks off with Winter Love Island this January. The regular Love Island then returns at the same time this Summer.

"2023 is officially the year of love!, ITV confirmed in a statement. "We will kick start the New Year with a fresh batch of Islanders heading to South Africa, then we'll be back to Mallorca for eight love-filled weeks in the summer," read the statement.

The last Winter Love Island to hit our screens was way back in January 2020 and was won by Paige Turley and Finn Tapp. Sadly the coronavirus pandemic and ongoing safety precautions, prevented the series from returning in 2021.

Most recently, ITV has announced a spin-off show called The Romance Retreat, which has the same premise as Love Island - only with older constestants.

Winter Love Island 2023 - See the new villa

Returning after two years away, producers have pulled out the stops for the upcoming show, with sources telling MailOnline that it will feature the 'best villa yet'. 

According to the publication the new location is situated in South Africa's Franschhoek wine valley - also known as 'millionaire row'. An eco-retreat with a huge pool, surrounded by stunning mountain views, a stay at the property currently sets you back £430 a night to stay.

Who is presenting Love Island 2023?

It was confirmed on October 12, 2022 that TV and radio presenter Maya Jama will be presenting Love Island 2023 along with Love Island: Aftersun. "Maya was ITV’s dream option," a source told The Sun. "She is fun, beautiful and a brilliant presenter. 

"She was discussed as a possible replacement for Caroline two years ago - but now the time is right...," they told the publication. 

Maya shared how she is a "massive fan" of Love Island, which made the job so much more exciting. When interviewed on This Morning about how she plans to approach the role, Maya said: "I tried not to do too much research, cos you still do want to be yourself don't you. You want to ask the questions you want to know.

"But as a fan of the show, I feel like I'm just going to approach it how I've screamed at the telly for years," she added. "Like 'I want to know this and I want to know that'. Like 'why did you kiss her and what happened then'. But we'll see."

The 28-year-old confirmed on Twitter that she arrived in South Africa to start shooting for Winter Love Island on January 8.

For those who aren't familiar with Maya's background, the new host has enjoyed a successful presenting career on both TV and radio. She started out in 2014, making a ncame for herself on RinseFM with her #DrivewithMaya show. She later went on to present shows and cover presenters on BBC Radio 1.

They've barely been in the villa for a week yet one Love Island contestant has already quit, with shocked ITV2 viewers wondering why has Liam left Love Island?

The reality dating show, which kicked off on Monday night (6th June), has already had its fair share of drama, with a format shake-up meaning Islanders weren't able to choose who they paired up with and a re-coupling leaving Liam single after Gemma Owen was chosen by Italian stallion Davide who wears sunglasses at night.

Why has Liam left Love Island?

Liam Llewellyn has left Love Island after just 36 hours in the villa because of a reason that he will reveal to his fellow contestants in tonight's episode of Love Island. An insider told The Sun, "The reasons behind it are unknown so viewers will be glued to their screens tonight to find out."

Viewers will see Liam ask the boys to help him gather everyone else around the fire pit for his announcement, telling them, “I think we need to have a chat, we need to get everyone by the fire pit.”

The 22-year-old student from Newport, South Wales previously admitted he was looking forward to meeting someone and getting to know them.

But after being paired up with Gemma Owen - daughter of former footballer Michael Owen - following a public vote, he barely got chance to get to know her before fellow contestant "Italian Stallion" Davide Sanclimenti decided to couple up with the 19-year-old, leaving Liam single and in need of finding a connection with someone before the next pairing or face being sent home.

A self-confessed "emotional" person, who "wears his heart on his sleeve", Liam is sure to leave the villa upset over his decision to leave early, as fans have already shared their thoughts.

One fan tweeted, "Nooo nooooooooo nooooo Nooooooo NOT LIAM."

Another distraught fan put, "Omg I’m gutted."

And a third commented, "Well I can see where he is coming from tbh, all the girls besides Gemma are much older than him and they look more mature when next to Liam. I liked Liam but I feel the show has left him down massively here! Could of least bring in another girls around his age (20 or 21)"

Who is Liam Llewellyn's famous dad?

Liam Llewellyn's famous dad is former rugby star David Llewellyn. Fans of Love Island had been wondering who his parents were and it looks like Gemma isn't the only Islander from a famous sporting family.

David once played for Welsh rugby clubs Ebbw Vale, Newport and Neath - he made four appearances for the national team and was part of the Wales squad for the 1999 World Cup, during which he scored a try.

He now works as a personal trainer - just like returning ex-islander Adam Collard - in Cardiff and is currently training upcoming boxing star Joe Cordina, who was crowned iBF super featherweight earlier this month.

When David heard his son was going into the villa he backed him, sharing a sweet photo of the pair of them at his graduation with his Instagram followers. The caption reads, "My boy. So proud of you son.. love you. Go nail it!!”

Whilst Liam pulled out of the show, there's been no confirmation as to whether he'll return to screens to chat as part of the Love Island final.

When does Love Island 2022 start?

Series 8 of Love Island 2022 is confirmed to start on Monday, 6th June 2022.

Love Island producers confirmed the start date when the show's official instagram account and Twitter when it posted a short clip, of the date as an animation, and captioned it, "Here's your first hot date of the summer ❤️ 🔥 #LoveIsland is back Monday 6th June on ITV2 and ITV Hub!"

It comes after an insider told The Sun earlier this month that, "Love Island is coming back with a bang and it will begin on the second full week in June. The schedules are being put together now and fans can expect a long, hot summer of fun from the villa from June 6."

The new series was first confirmed at the end of series seven last year when Laura Whitmore encouraged viewers to apply for the next series.

There are rumours of some changes to the format for this year's show - including the possibility of a much longer run - keeping fans entertained for 10 weeks instead of the usual six to eight weeks, this years' applicants were asked to be available for 10 weeks.

Laura Whitmore has since quit the show as host as fans wonder who will replace her.

Who is on Love Island 2022 line-up?

The singles confirmed to be on the line up for Love Island 2022 so far are as follows:

Paige Thorne, 24, Paramedic from Swansea

Paige is promising to bring her "positive energy" to the Love Island villa and added, "I am a good cook and I’m quite mumsy so I’ll look after anyone that needs looking after. If I had to pick a signature dish, it would probably be a Sunday dinner. My roasties are up there, I think Gordon Ramsay would be impressed - I think he would be like ‘9/10 or 10/10."

She is looking for love after coming out of a relationship and after focusing on herself she's ready to mingle again!

Dami Hope, 26, Senior Microbiologist from Dublin

This singleton is hoping to get a new experience from Love Island and is looking forward to talking to different girls. He hopes to bring his authentic self to the villa, Dami said, "Just myself - Dami Hope! Being me - funny and my personality. I don’t know if I will cause trouble, I’ll try not to cause trouble but sometimes you don’t intentionally cause trouble - but it happens!"

As an Aries. Dami believes his star sign helps him be a great lover. He explained, "When I’m actually in a relationship, I think it’s a star sign thing, I’m an Aries but I’m very passionate - I always used to put that person first. If they had something they wanted to do or something they were passionate about, I’d make sure that even if it’s something I’m not talented at I’d get talented at it just so it helps them. I’m really good at being in a team and actually looking after each other."

Indiyah Polack, 23, Hotel Waitress from London

Keen to date new people without the influence of social media, Indiyah is hoping that in the villa she can "get to know someone one-to-one and build a real connection".

She has described her dating history as "random" and added, "Everyone I’ve dated have all been quite different. I don’t think I have ever been out with two guys who are quite the same."

Liam Llewellyn, 22, Masters Student, from Newport, south Wales

This student is looking forward to meeting someone and spending the years ahead getting to know them. When it comes to what his friends and family think of him, he admitted, "If you ask my mum, probably a little s**t. No, I’m a good kid, she knows that. They’d probably say quite generous, quite caring, happy, chatty, chirpy, bubbly. I wear my heart on my sleeve, I can’t hide how I feel about anyone. I’m probably quite emotional as well come to think about it."

AWWW. And if he had chance to impress someone, Liam revealed his go-to technique, "Pay them a compliment! The thing that girls quite like is that I’m not just like, “You’re mint.” I’m like, “Your eyes are piercing, I’m lost in your eyes.” Or I’ll say something like, “You’ve got nice feet” or something."

Liam has since quit the show after just 36 hours in the villa.

Tasha Ghouri, 23, model and dancer from Thirsk, North Yorkshire

The self-proclaimed “party animal” describes her dating life as “a shambles”. She is also the first deaf islander to appear on the show. Speaking about her medical condition, she said, “I think [my friends and family] would say I’m inspirational because of my hearing and my cochlear implant. I inspire quite a lot of people because I’m really open about it.”

Davide Sanclimenti, 27, Business Owner, from Rome (living in Manchester)

Speaking about why he wanted to take part in this years' show said, "I think Love Island is going to be so much fun. I’m going to be the Italian stallion in the Villa! With my Italian charm, I can also be a very romantic guy. I’m good looking and I’ve realised since I first arrived in Manchester, a lot of English girls actually love me. They love to be around me and I love to be around them. It’s going to be fun, I’m looking forward to it. I want to find my soulmate, find my person so I can actually build something in the future, grow with them, be a family."

But Davide isn't looking for as fling, his biggest dream is to "find someone I can spend the rest of my life with".

Since appearing on the show viewers are wondering why is Love Island's Davide wearing sunglasses at night?

Gemma Owen, 19, International Dressage Rider and Business Owner, from Chester

This horse riding business owner is the daughter of former footballer Michael Owen and she applied for the show after her last relationship fizzled out and she has described herself as, "fun, flirty and fiery".

Gemma added, "I think I’m good at giving advice, I’m a good person to talk to, I’m very honest. If I want the same guy, I’d do it but in a nice respectful way."

And while Gemma is competitive when it comes to sports - having competed for Great Britain in dressage since she was 11 years old, she won't stand in the way of true love.

She explained, "Sport has always been a big thing for me and my family. My dad was a professional football player. I’ve competed for Great Britain in dressage since I was 11-years-old. I’ve travelled all across Europe competing in big arenas in big competitions. I would say I’m very competitive. [When it comes to relationships] I will always go for what I want. But at the same time, I’m not going to mess up something for someone who is in a proper relationship or get in the way of a couple if they have a genuine connection. I wouldn’t do anything to another girl that I wouldn’t be happy with them doing to me."

Ikenna Ekwonna, 23, Pharmaceutical Sales, from Nottingham

Having only been in one relationship before, Ikenna is looking for love once more. The spontaneous reality star admits he's not shy and doesn't care about what people think.

And one of his most memorable dating experiences was whisking his then girlfriend away for her birthday. He recalled, "I took my ex on holiday for her birthday. We went to Barcelona for four nights and I was pretty young then, maybe like 19-20. It was for her birthday so she didn’t know about it. It was quite a lot of money to spend for that age."

Andrew Le Page, 27, estate agent, from Guernsey

Andrew admits he's single "for once" so he's looking for love once more and claims to be a "loyal" and "good boyfriend". He said "When I’m with someone I’m all for them." And he has a romantic side too, having admitted he surprised his ex during dinner when they were together. "I pretended that I got her absolutely nothing and she was kind of fuming. Then I whipped out that, ‘We're actually going to Paris tomorrow’. She was very happy with that!"

Amber Beckford, 24, Nanny, from London

Amber hopes to bring the "fun" into the villa, after all she's great with kids but how will she fare with the Love Island lot? She admitted, "Hopefully fun! Have some chit chat with the girls. I can definitely be opinionated so I’m not sure how that’s going to go down. As I work with kids I have patience with kids but adults, they annoy me!"

But for those looking to impress her, they'd better avoid the following, "I don’t like guys that show off. I don’t like flashy, showy-offy guys - just have a personality and make me laugh. There was this one guy and he was trying to purposefully show off his car keys and we were literally in the middle of a restaurant!"

Luca Bish, 23, Fishmonger, from Brighton

This singleton is looking for love four years after his last relationship. He explained, "I came out of a four-year relationship about a year ago. I was enjoying being in a relationship, there were just things I didn’t like and we drifted apart."

He lifted the lid on his dating style and admitted he prefers to "meet girls out and about". He added, I think when you go looking for it, it’s not as easy though, it’s like you’re too desperate for it. If I think you’re the one or I like you, I’ll take you out on a date but other than that, if we talk and I don’t like where it’s going - then I won’t be throwing out dates."

But that hasn't stopped speculation over who else might be entering the villa over the coming weeks, and among those rumoured for 2022 are season four contestant Zara McDermott's brother, Brad McDermott, 22-year-old beautician Sophie Draper and influencer Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

Speaking about Brad, an insider has said, "Brad is a young, good looking guy, and he has seen how appearing on Love Island has completely transformed Zara's life. Though she didn't find long-term love, it has served as a great platform for her. She also had a great time there, and he thinks it would be a great laugh."

Meanwhile, Sophie, who owns a beauty salon in Nottingham, has a famous ex-boyfriend - Aston Villa footballer Matty Cash - as well as a huge following on Instagram.  She lives a luxury lifestyle with holidays in Dubai, and shares regular updates with her 20,000 followers including pictures of her physique and chic outfits.

And Influencer Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is described as a Turkish actor and influencer. A source told the publication, "“Ekin-Su is the perfect contestant to get viewers tuning in this summer. Not only is she beautiful, she’s also used to being on TV and moves in showbiz circles so she’s sure to bring fireworks. She’ll have no shortage of guys after her in the villa, that’s for sure.”

Man City footballer Jack Grealish is claimed to have been liking her Instagram photos.

Where is the villa?

The Love Island 2022 will still be filmed in Mallorca but this year the actual show has moved to a brand new villa as part of a shake-up. "ITV bosses think this is the right moment to refresh this element of the show, just as they did in series three back in 2017," a source told The Sun. And fans have been given a sneaky peek at the brand new six-bedroom villa as construction work is underway.

Scaffolding has been spotted outside the mansion while work is underway and it's expected to be revealed to fans nearer the time.

Who will be hosting Love Island 2022?

Love Island 2022 will be hosted by returning TV presenter Laura Whitmore. The Irish TV host has reportedly signed a £500k deal to host the series once more - it will mark her third series following the tragic death of former host Caroline Flack.

It was rumoured that Laura, who is mum to daughter Stevie Ré, aged one, would be replaced by Maya Jama or Maura Higgins but ITV has since confirmed Laura's return as host.

An ITV spokesperson told Metro.co.uk, "Laura will be returning to host the forthcoming series of Love Island."

Love Island 2022 will be aired on ITV2 and an hour later on ITV2+1.

Love Island star Katie Salmon has announced she is expecting her first child with fiancé Harry, less than a month after their engagement.

The star, who rose to fame during the show's second season of Love Island in 2016, appeared on the dating show with the late Sophie Gradon, as one half of the villa's first same-sex couples.

Katie posted a sweet video on Instagram revealing her pregnancy only weeks after confirming she and Harry had gotten engaged.

In the sweet clip, Katie can can be seen going to the doctor for an initial ultrasound scan, with the camera zooming in and out to show the baby's heartbeat. The clips, which are pieced together with Ed Sheeran's song Small Bump playing over the top, also show Katie's mother reacting to the exciting news.

Captioning the emotional video Katie penned, "Been Busy Creating Life. First came love, then came you! Six months pregnant with our biggest blessing..."

Explaining that she had kept the wonderful news a secret until now, Katie added "I’ve kept this between close friends and family for a while but my beautiful baby bump is getting hard to hide.

Love Island 2021 sweethearts Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank have confirmed their split after four months of dating.

Caroline Flack's mother Christine has slammed 'fake friends' for grieving for her daughter

Caroline Flack's mother has opened up on the pain of seeing 'fake friends' grieve on TV for her daughter.

The TV presenter committed suicide, aged 40, back in Feburary last year and after her death many celebrities have spoken out on sharing a friendship with the star and about how they are struggling with her loss.

But some people who claimed to have been close to the former Love Island presenter, were far from it, with some not even knowing her daughter well, Christine has claimed.

And now Christine has opened up on the hurt she feels in seeing these "fake friends" pay tribute following her daughter's tragic death.

While Christine hasn't named who she considers 'fake friends', she told The Sun, “It's hard. I saw someone on the telly this week calling her a friend and it really hurt. When a death is in the media, you can't just grieve quietly. There's lots of people grieving that don't know her personally, so you're looking after them, as well as all her friends."

Caroline Flack's mum Christine went on to share that she regularly sees Caroline's long-term pals - such as Dawn O'Porter, Natalie Pinkman and charity CEO Josie Naughton - who share fond memories of the host.

But she explained how people suggesting they were in Caroline's inner circle is painful. Christine added, "I like seeing Natalie, Josie and Dawn, but it hurts sometimes when I have to see people who say they knew her."

Christine's comments come after she admitted earlier this year that she can no longer watch ITV2 dating show Love Island because presenter Laura Whitmore has 'taken her place' as host of the show.

At the time she suggested that ITV should have tweaked the format after Caroline's death, "I think ITV2 could have done it a little differently. They could have done it out of respect. It's all very well putting these films on saying, 'Oh, we love Carrie blah blah blah'. But you know, just have a little bit of respect."

Caroline stepped down from her Love Island hosting duties following an altercation in her home with her boyfriend Lewis Burton.

At the time, she announced she would not take part in the series as she was due to stand trial over allegations she had assaulted Lewis - which she denied.

Before her death, Caroline campaigned for people to "be kind" when it comes to behaviour towards each other as she opened up on struggling with her mental health.

It was reported that Caroline was 'ashamed' of her mental health as she was diagnosed bipolar before her death.

Caroline Flack's mum Christine spoke out at her inquest saying she was 'hounded' and 'let down' by officials.

Love Island's Luis Morrison and his girlfriend Chloe Elizabeth have welcomed their first child, the couple confirmed on Saturday.

Love Island star Luis and Chloe welcomed a son, whom they named Romeo, sharing their happy news on Instagram before revealing doctors were concerned their baby wouldn't survive.

Romeo was born prematurely last Monday weighing just 2lb 4oz, but Chloe reassured her followers that their baby is an "absolute trooper" as she updated them on his health.

Posting a photo of Romeo sleeping sounding with breathing tubes in his nose, the 22-year-old wrote: "Romeo️ 11 weeks early • 18/10/21 • 11:55am • 2lb4.

"My little trooper, you will never understand how special and truly loved you are, it still doesn’t feel real yet. I Can’t wait to get you home and be your Mam forever️."

Love Island star Luis shared the same image alongside the caption: "Welcome to the world Baby Romeo! Romeo was born 11 weeks early, and can't wait to get him home hopefully before Christmas! Super proud of you already."

The couple received hundreds of well wishes and congratulatory messages over their new bundle of joy.

Chloe later updated her followers on Romeo's condition, admitting her fears over his premature birth.

"As you can imagine the past couple weeks have truly been the best but most difficult weeks I've ever had to face, it's so hard to speak to a dr and then not able to tell you that your son is gonna be ok," she penned.

"However, Romeo is absolutely thriving at not even 2 weeks, old, he's had a couple a set backs but he is an absolute trooper and we honestly couldn't be more proud of him.

"He's deffo on the right tracks and he will be home in no time, just need to fatten him up first."

She concluded: "Thank you so much everyone for the kind messages and comments, truly appreciate it."

6 tips for parents of teens wanting to watch Love Island

1. Teens are likely to see worse content online. This is a sad fact, but when compared to research suggesting 45% of children aged eight to 17 have viewed material they felt was inappropriate or worrisome, Love Island doesn't seem quite so bad. 
2. Flip the genre. Emma suggests presenting the series to teens as more satirical, rather than a serious reflection on dating. She says "It's about getting into a conversation and communicating with our youngsters as in saying 'watch this as a comedy show if you really want to but this tells us nothing actually about relationships at all.'" 
3. Have a conversation about what healthy relationships look like. Reiterate that no normal relationship would begin in the way Love Island relationships do. Instil the values of honesty, trust, respect and great communication, that relationships need to thrive - view Love Island as a 'how not to', rather than a 'how to.' Emma adds "Tell your teen that most of us choose to live meaningful purposeful lives with secure and happy relationships and Love Island is not the breeding ground for that. There may be the odd relationship that goes on to flourish but essentially, this is entertainment."
4. Emphasise the show being a game. Emma highlights the importance of making it clear that there's a cash prize involved, adding pressure to relationships - contestants will do what it takes to win, and won't be thinking about the importance of modelling a good relationship. Emma says "It's important to make young people aware that the contestants are under this huge pressure to win the prize and that most of us, thankfully, are not under this kind of pressure - and nor should we be, because we're likely to make poor choices."
5. Have a conversation about the pressures of adulthood. This is a good time to tell your teen there isn't competition or pressure when it comes to making important life decisions, as the show depicts. Sharing her thoughts, Emma says "The concept of pressure is a useful one too and this is an artificial hothouse, which is actually heavily money driven. That's a very good point to make, because in the future when friends are getting engaged or be partnering off, it often means that there's pressure for others to follow suit. When teens become adults they should do what's right for them, in their own time and not feel under any pressure."
6. Body image is important. Apart from the occasional curvy woman who makes it onto the show, the men are usually sculpted to perfection, and the women have taut tummies and not a hint of cellulite. This is an excellent opportunity to let teens know that most people looking like this have won some sort of genetic lottery, and this isn't the norm. Bodies come in all shapes and sizes, and with no expectation to look a certain way or not have imperfections. "These are the conversations that we want to be having with our children anyway around the table and out and about in the car," Emma tells us about body image, adding "It's all about dialogue and discussion, using it as a platform for meaningful conversations around a topic and listening to your youngsters."

Mum-of-three Connie, tells us she wouldn't let her teens watch the show. She says "Although I agree there's worse content to be found online, I still don't want my teenagers watching Love Island. There seems to be so many conversations to be had about other important issues, I don't want to worry about extra ones relating to reality TV, particularly a series I wouldn't put at the top of my watch-list."

Mum-of-two Amy, disagrees. She tells us "Love Island was definitely a 'guilty pleasure' watch for us when the kids went to bed. Now they're older and the eldest asked to watch it, I was reluctant at first, but it's definitely allowed us to embrace some important topics. We've covered everything from working out safely to what to expect when dating starts - and how different that will be to Love Island. Importantly, it's allowed us to have a few laughs together - I trust my teen to realise what's not real life and not a reflection on how they should behave."

Caroline Flack has tragically passed away.

The Love Island host's family have confirmed that she passed away earlier today, telling the Press Association in a statement, 'We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February. We would ask that the press both respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time.'

According to Sky News, the family's lawyer has confirmed that Caroline was found dead in her East London home after taking her own life.

The star posted an Instagram photo yesterday alongside her pet dog, simply with a red love heart emoji in the caption.

Tributes for the star have been pouring in on social media, with fans, friends and fellow celebrities writing lovely messages about the late presenter.

'Caroline Flack .... Dear God,' wrote This Morning presenter Eammon Holmes. 'Shocked beyond belief. May she have found peace', while his This Morning co-star Phillip Schofield wrote in an Instagram story, 'You poor poor darling girl my heart is breaking'.

'I’m so so sad to hear about @carolineflack1,' wrote TV host Davina McCall. 'I don’t even know what to say. But my heart goes out to her friends and family x I might be a bit quiet tonight on social media .. just doesn’t seem right'.

Former Love Island stars of course also joined the host of tributes to the popular presenter, with former contestant Malin Andersson writing, 'My heart hurts for Caroline Flack. She did not deserve this. I have no words. Rest in peace. 😞❤️'.

'Rest in paradise Caroline Flack,' wrote 2018 star Josh Denzel, 'you will be missed by many 😞 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾', while Amber Davies echoed, 'My heart is actually broken' and 'This is going to hurt forever 💔'.

'Words can’t sum this up,' lamented 2017 contestant Chris Hughes. 'So sad. Another amazing person taking from this cruel world.

'When will people and and press release celebrities are humans, with the same feelings everyone else has. Can’t believe to imagine the pain. God bless Caroline and her family. Rest tight 😢 💔'.

Laura Whitmore has opened up on going through a miscarriage.

The TV presenter revealed that she went through a miscarriage last year after an unplanned pregnancy with her boyfriend, Love Island presenter Iain Stirling.

Opening up in a candid personal essay for website Hot Press, the former I’m A Celebrity Extra Camp presenter reflected on the difficult time, writing, ‘I wasn’t sure how I was supposed to react. Should I cry? Was I allowed be emotional for something unplanned?

‘The things that go through your mind: actually, I had just spent two hours planning with the midwife earlier that day.

‘Then the strangest thing happened,’ she continued. ‘The doctor went out to the reception and brought in a puppy. She offered it to me. It was a new puppy that happened to be in the clinic that day – not a usual circumstance. But she hoped it would make me feel better. When in doubt, get the puppies out.’

Laura had found out that she was expecting a baby just weeks before receiving the devastating miscarriage news, being given the blow at her 12-week scan.

‘I went to the doctor to confirm the pregnancy,’ she explained, ‘was handed a pile of faded pamphlets and told it’s a good time to get pregnant, as the older you get, the harder it can be.’

However, after being delivered the heartbreaking news when she was only 12 weeks along, the TV star struggled to come to terms with the loss.

‘Miscarriages happen to 1 in 3 women,’ continued Laura. ‘I didn’t know this, because most people just don’t talk about it. Now I’m part of that statistic.

‘I hadn’t planned the pregnancy in the first place, so should I be sad? I was. That feeling was heightened because I felt I had to be sad alone: apart from a handful of people, no one knew. I had to deal with high intensity work situations without anyone around me knowing what was really going on inside my head.

‘Although maybe that made it easier to deal with – because I wasn’t actually dealing with it.

‘I poured myself a large glass of wine that didn’t taste as good as I thought it would and I kept on moving forward,’ added Laura. ‘Realising now that I do want children and knowing that so many women battle things in silence.’
