John Torode and Lisa Faulkner are back on TV every Saturday for a new series of John and Lisa's Weekend Kitchen.

The show invites viewers into the couple's kitchen for a morning of feel good food with tasty recipes from John and Lisa - and some of their celebrity friends - as well as cooking shortcuts, inspiration and tips that you'll definitely be thankful for.

John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen recipes

If you’re wondering what recipes Lisa and John will be making on air, then you’ll be pleased to know they’ll be cooking everything from desserts and bakes, to delicious mains and vegetarian feasts – with some celebrity recipes thrown in for good measure.

Just a handful of John and Lisa's Weekend Kitchen Recipes include fish and chips with tartare sauce, pumpkin soup, chocolate and walnut torte and baked apples with custard. And so far this season, viewers have already been treated to a roast leg of lamb recipe and an Easter egg dessert.

In previous series, Lisa and John's recipes included a mouth-watering spring roast chicken, a super simple Victoria Sponge, cheats raspberry jam and easy cheese scones, as well as chicken wings from Levi Roots.

They also made an  easy-peasy flat bread, chicken chow mein and stuffed tomato. For pudding, they whipped up a 'cheat’s' banana ice cream and a self-saucing chocolate pudding – yum!

When does John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen air?

John and Lisa returned to ITV on Saturday 8 April at 11.35am, and the series will air weekly. However, ITV did note that there will be some breaks in the series due to royal occasions and sporting events.

The duo, who married in October 2019, surprised fans with the news that their much-loved television programme, John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen, would be returning to screens.

As the first episode aired, Lisa wrote on Instagram: "Good Morning!! #johnandlisasweekendkitchen is back @itv 11.40am hope you guys will love it as much as we enjoyed making it !"

Meanwhile, John posted a video clip from the show, with the caption: "Do you fancy a smush ? See you Saturday, we are back".

Fans were pleased by the news, with one writing under John's post, "I literally squealed with excitement when I saw the advert that you two were back on Saturdays! Can’t wait!!! Xx" 

Another commented, "Yippee 🥳 love you both on TV 😍❤️"
