M&S launched four new cocktails in a can – including their version of Aperol Spritz

Marks and Spencer can cocktails

Marks & Spencer have launched a new collection of canned cocktails – just in time for picnic season…

Summer should be right around the corner (let’s collectively cross our fingers), so our favourite supermarkets are busy launching new summery products for us to enjoy in the warm weather.

Among Pimm’s lollies, a delicious G&T cake and other classic summer treats, new tipples are always welcome.

We’re already dreaming of Asda’s brand new fruity gin – a watermelon-flavoured drink – as well as their other sweets-flavoured ones - lemon sherbets, pear drops and parma violets.

Now M&S is also helping us get ready in style with a brand new collection of canned cocktails.

The supermarket is adding four new flavours to their cocktail tin range – Cherry Spritzer; Peach Spritzer; Vermouth & Tonic and the Aperitivo.

The latter is their version of the Italian classic Aperol Spritz, described by the brand as ‘the on-trend orange shade that signals the start of the summer’.

‘This Aperitivo Spritzer is a classic blend of white wine and fragrant orange bitters.’

The Cherry Spritzer is perfect for rose lovers, as it’s a delicious blend of cherry juice and a Spanish rose.

For the white wine lovers, the Peach Spritzer combines sweet peach juice and crisp Spanish white wine for a refreshing cocktail.

For those who prefer non-fruity drinks, M&S is also launching a Vermouth & Tonic cocktail, described as a ‘popular combo’.

‘Indian tonic water is the perfect match for crisp vermouth in this lightly sparkling cocktail.’

The new cocktails are available from M&S stores now, and each tin will cost £2.
