Annabel Karmel's sesame beef stir-fry is a great way to introduce your child to exciting new flavours, in a speedy dish you can serve up to the whole family.

Children as young as 18 months can enjoy this simple stir-fry, packed with a rainbow of healthy vegetables and with a good portion of iron-rich beef. The dish takes less than 30 minutes to prepare, so it's great for busy mums and dads. Plus this recipe makes four portions - so you can eat the same meal as your little one if you're feeling like a healthy version of Chinese takeaway tonight. Feel free to add in extra vegetables if your child especially likes them. We find the mini sweetcorn are always very popular, but adding in some sliced pepper is nice too.
