'Imperfection is beautiful!' Rebekah Vardy shows off post-pregnancy stretch marks on Instagram

Rebekah joins the crew of celebs who are celebrating their stretch marks!

New mum Rebekah Vardy has been showing off her stretch marks just two weeks after giving birth, stating that 'perfection doesn't exist'.

The mum of four took to Instagram to spread the message that the marks left on a woman's body after giving birth are something to 'learn to love.'

'Our bodies go through so many changes growing a baby, it's not easy it's tough on women,' Rebekah captioned her image, which shows her posing while pregnant with her son, and then her tummy just two weeks after giving birth.

'The trauma of childbirth, the sleep deprivation that follows, the ups and downs! We never fully recover!

'Learn to love the wrinkly skin, the stretch marks, the deflated once perky boobs... Perfection doesn't exist... it's just an illusion! Imperfection is beautiful!'

Followers flocked to comment on Rebekah's post, voicing their appreciation of a public figure breaking down unrealistic standards of post-pregnancy bodies.

'Love his @beckyvardy I have 2 little boys and my body's never recovered! Good for you on posting this.. too many celebs with the bulls***' commented one person.

'Such a beautiful message that's true but many people don't see it,' wrote someone else.

The motivational post comes just a fortnight after Rebekah and her family welcomed their baby boy, whose name hasn't yet been revealed.

Rebekah has two girls - Megan, 11, and Taylor, six - from previous relationships, and shares two-year-old daughter Sofia with her footballer husband Jamie - who also has six-year-old Ella with his ex.

The couple have said that they don't plan on having any more children. Jamie revealed the happy news of their little one's birth via Twitter on 10th January 2017.

The couple told HELLO! magazine all about their baby's gender back in December 2016, which they described as 'the biggest secret' they ever had to keep.

'I'm so glad it's finally out,' Rebekah told the mag. 'Megs had a face on because she wanted another sister, but I said to her, "You've already got one sister so this boy will even things out".

'Taylor wanted a brother, so when we got home, he was like, "What is it?!" He saw the blue cake and he was like, "Oh my goodness, it's a boy!"

Her body positivity seems like a fabulous way to continue her journey as a mum - keep at it, Rebekah!
