Antony Worrall Thompson
After leaving school, Antony Worrall Thompson studied hotel management before taking his first catering job in Essex. It wasn’t long until he was in a professional kitchen though as at the young age of 27 he moved to London and became the sous-chef at Brinkley’s Restaurant on Fulham Road. Over the years Antony has produced 32 books and counting, some of which focus on good healthy eating.
He opened his first restaurant Ménage à Trois in 1981, which is centered around Antony's unique flair for cooking through the restaurant only serving starters and puddings, and was known as the late Princess of Wales's favourite restaurant in London. Now known as AWT or Wozza, Antony is now a celebrity chef who has made many television appearances in BBC 2 Food and Drink Ready Steady Cook, BBC'S Great British Menu as well as presenting BBC2's Saturday Kitchen and ITV series Saturday Cooks.
