Adam Levine confirms the gender of his second child with wife Behati Prinsloo

Exciting news for the couple!

Adam Levine has revealed the gender of his second child with wife Behati Prinsloo.

Speaking during an episode of the Ellen DeGeneres show recently, Adam confided in the host that the couple, who are already parents to one-year-old Dusty Rose, had found out the sex of their baby.

'It is a girl. We are having another girl,' he confirmed.

When asked if he wanted to expand their brood any further, the Maroon 5 frontman added: 'Probably. I want a lot. I thrive with chaos. I really, generally enjoy and love it.'

'[Behati] was an only child. So she wants like 100 babies. But I don't know if I could do that,' he joked.

The A-list couple tied the knot in Mexico in July 2014 and welcomed their first child Dusty two years later, in September 2016.

'I like to think that parenting is something that is ... what we were literally put on this Earth to do and everybody is super different,' the musician said to Ryan Seacrest during an appearance on his radio show shortly after Dusty's birth.

'I've been a parent for three weeks, so what do I know? I don't know anything, but it's kind of part of the beauty of it, honestly.

'There are a lot of instincts, a lot of things that kind of kick in and switch on. It's a beautiful experience.'

Behati then announced that she and Adam were expecting again back in September, when the model shared a snap of herself in a bikini showing off her growing bump.

'ROUND 2.....' she told her 5.1 million followers in the caption of the Instagram post.

During his interview with Ellen, Adam added that Behati was handling her second pregnancy 'like a champion,' exclaiming that 'she's killing it'.

'You would never know she's almost seven months pregnant,' he said. 'God bless her.'
