'I can't even manage my own life' Aston Merrygold reveals his fears over becoming a dad
The Strictly star spoke honestly about impending fatherhood
Strictly Come Dancing star Aston Merrygold has revealed something that's more terrifying than the dance floor - welcoming his first child with girlfriend Sarah Richards.
At 29-years-old, he chatted openly and honestly with the panel of Loose Women about becoming a father for the first time.
The JLS star admitted he can't wait to find out the gender of their baby as they've kept it a surprise.
He explained: 'I'm so excited to find out the sex there and then and send out that text - it's a boy or a girl!'
Admitting that he still isn't ready for the baby to arrive, however, he joked: 'I can't even manage my own life! Sarah has told me I have to go to parenting classes.'
The couple, who announced their pregnancy in September this year with a fun Instagram share, are keen to spend as much time together as they can before baby arrives.
Referring to his girlfriend and dance teaching mum-to-be, he said: 'She finished work yesterday. That's the hard thing, you want to spend as much time as possible just you two because this is the last time.'

The Loose Women put the dad-to-be through his paces, testing him on his baby knowledge, quizzing him on haemorrhoids, post-birth stitches and dealing with baby's nappies.
Aston did admit he wouldn't be squirming over any of the not-so glamorous aspects of parenting, however.
They discussed what you should you when a baby has a blocked nose: 'Don't you have to do it with your mouth?' he asked triumphantly.
'I am ready for it! Suck it out!'
Aston and Sarah met four years ago during his time with JLS, as Sarah had been a professional dancer on The X Factor.
Aston is the last member of the band to become a father, as Marvin Humes shares two daughters with wife Rochelle - Alaia-Mai, four, and Valentina, born in March earlier this year - whilst Oritsé Williams is dad to son Omré and JB Gill fathers son Ace.
