Chrissy Teigen has been criticised by fans for putting her daughter Luna in danger, after posting a picture with her on a slide.
The seemingly innocent snap shows the model and her daughter Luna preparing to head down a slide together. Looking totally adorable in a printed sundress, the toddler sits on her mum's lap and sports a slightly apprehensive expression.
'Weeeee are very skeptical of slides right now', Chrissy captioned the image.
However, the snap caused a debate among fans, with a number of critics quickly suggesting that by riding the slide with her little girl, Chrissy was exposing Luna to a possible health hazard.
'Just a heads up that this can break your little one's leg. I have had three friends who have had this happen', said one.
A second follower warned: 'As an ED nurse, kids break their own legs on slides all the time. I actually fractured my 3-year-old's femur when I was holding her while going down a twisty slide.'
Not one to hold back in the face of criticism, Chrissy was quick to fire back with her trademark sarcastic humour.
'Wish you guys would have told me about the leg thing earlier. They broke. Both of them. And everyone else's in the park broke too just from watching it happen', she retorted.
'There are so many broken legs here. (Heads up, photos are a one second moment in time, I was lifting her onto my lap).'
Chrissy's comeback was 'liked' over 27,000 times and encouraged hoards of fans to stick up for John Legend's wife.
'All these mom shamers... SMH. @chrissyteigen is a smart woman. She knows what she's doing. Go troll someone else or better yet, get a life', said one.
Another added: 'Leave her alone. You slammers have nothing better to do, that's for sure. As a grandmother of 6, I've seen her do nothing wrong. She is a loving and caring mum... with great legs.'
Fellow model Brooklyn Decker, who recently welcomed her second child (opens in new tab) with former tennis ace Andy Roddick, also jumped to the defence of her pal.
'Going no miles an hour. I think she's fine,' she quipped.
Chrissy is currently expecting her second child with husband John Legend. She announced the happy news back in November, but her due date has not been confirmed.
