'So brave' Claire Richards shares an emotional tribute to her two children

Such a sweet moment

Singer Claire Richards has posted an emotional tribute to her two 'brave' children on Twitter after they joined her during an performance on tour.

Charlie, 10, and Daisy, nine, appeared with mum Claire on stage at Wembley stadium during a recent Steps performance, along with her bandmates children, Ian 'H' Watkins' twin sons Macsen and Cybi, Lisa Scott Lee's kids Star Lily and Jaden and Fay Tozer's son Benjamin, to launch into a heartwarming rendition of The Way You Make Me Feel.

This sweet gesture caused 40-year-old Claire to choke back the tears as she watched her two children join in the fun.

The Official Steps Twitter account shared the special moment on their Twitter page, saying: 'We loved having our kids on stage with us last night at Wembley Arena.'

And not long after, proud mum Claire posted a rare pic of her two kids, to shower them with praise for being 'brave' on stage.

The 40-year-old also included a nod to her husband, Adam Reece, who has supported her and 'held down the fort' with their home life, as she embarked on the Steps reunion.

Claire wrote in the caption for the candid shot, which was shared with her 165k followers: 'My EVERYTHING!! #mybabies #wembley #usedtoworkhere Back here 24 years later with my own children!' 'Words cannot describe the pride and emotion I felt last night having them on stage with us (me) so proud of them for being so brave Thankyou to everyone that made it happen. Love you @reecehill1 for being So amazing the last few weeks holding down the fort! #daddyrocks.'

Pop band Steps are currently on a nationwide arena tour, having reformed earlier this year for their 20th anniversary.

But their proudest moment came when four of the band members, now all in their 40s, invited their children on stage to share the limelight.

One by one, the band called out their children to join them, producing squeals of delight from the crowd.

Lee Latchford-Evans, 42, who doesn't yet have any children, joked he considered bringing his dog on stage but thought better of it.

Mum-of-two Claire currently raises her children with her husband Reece Hill, who she married in 2008.
