Game of Thrones star Alfie Allen has revealed he's welcomed his first child with girlfriend Allie Teilz.
The actor – who is the younger brother of singing sensation Lily Allen – announced the happy news about the birth of his daughter via his Instagram account.
He captioned a picture of himself holding his newborn daughter’s finger with the words: ‘With full hearts and overwhelming joy @allieteilz and I introduce you to the newest member of our family. She is perfect.’
The post has attracted more than 65,000 likes and fans of the star were quick to offer their congratulations.
One fan wrote: ‘Congrats!!! Enjoy and love her every day! She is beautiful!!’
While another added: ‘If you thought GoT was an important role, just getting you ready for fatherhood! Go smash it AA!’
A third also took to the comments section to say: ‘Congratulations Alfie and Allie, they will be great parents’.
Alfie’s co-stars on hit fantasy series Game of Thrones – where he plays the role of Euron Greyjoy – also shared their excitement for the star.
Sophie Turner – who plays Sansa Stark – was among the first to congratulate him writing: ‘So much love for you both and the new bubba.’
Gwendoline Christie – who plays Brienne of Tarth - echoed her sentiments saying: ‘So much love to you all.' Kerry Ingram also wrote: ‘Congrats to you both.’
Although it’s not known exactly how long the Alfie and his DJ partner have been dating, the couple officially went public with their romance in June last year.
Alfie was previously in a long-term relationship with fellow actor Jaime Winstone. And despite the pair getting engaged in 2008, they decided to go their separate ways three years ago.
Congratulations to both Alfie and Allie and we can’t wait to find out what their little bundle of joy is going to be called!
