Archie Harrison’s christening will reportedly be missing one very important family member.

Archie Harrison is reportedly set to be christened very soon.

The newest royal family member, who was welcomed by parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle back at the beginning of May, is reportedly set to be christened next month.

Details emerged last week about the little one’s upcoming introduction into the Church of England, as it was revealed that the ceremony would take place in July in St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

This particular chapel has a special significance to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as it is the same place where the new parents tied the knot last May.

The chosen chapel was also used for 34-year-old Harry’s christening back in 1984 when he was only three months old.

With Harry, Meghan and Archie making their first public family appearance at next month’s christening, we’ll be expecting to see the whole royal family out to celebrate with them.

However, there is one important person who we’re not likely to see joining the rest of the royals at the ceremony.

It is probably that Archie’s great-grandmother AKA her majesty the Queen, will not be attending the special ceremony.

According to The Sunday Times, the Queen has apparently already committed to prior engagements that clash with the youngster's religious occasion, so she will be not be able to show her face on the day.

This is not the first time that the Queen has missed a big royal occasion.

Last year, when Prince Louis was christened back in July, exactly a year to the month before Archie is expected to have his ceremony, the Queen was not able to be in attendance.

However, she did make it to the christenings of the two older Cambridge children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Whoever is expected to be on the guest list, we just can’t wait to catch a glimpse of the adorable Sussex trio out in force together in public for the first time!
