ITV News anchor Charlene White announces she's given birth to a little girl in sweet Instagram post

ITV’s Charlene White has welcomed a daughter with her partner Andy, and shared the lovely news on Instagram.

Charlene White announced that her baby’s name was Florence, sharing an adorable photo of the newborn, cuddled up in a pink blanket.

She wrote, ‘A month ago this beauty finally made an appearance... welcome to the world Florence. Go make your mark, be bold, be fabulous, fly in your own lane, and know I’ll always have your back ❤️’

Many followers were quick to congratulate Charlene on her new arrival, with her sweet post gaining over 2,000 likes.

One wrote, ‘Congratulations! @charlenewhite baby Florence is gorgeous 💕'

Another said: ‘Congratulations! What a beauty! 😍’

In the summer, Charlene opened up about what it was like being pregnant during a summer heatwave, especially when you live in the capital city.

She wrote, ‘Can’t lie to ya folks... being 7mths preggers in a heatwave ain’t easy - especially on the Tube 😩.’

Charlene also revealed her sister threw her a huge baby shower in September, as the news anchor posed with gifts, flowers and plenty of balloons!

She wrote, ‘When you tell your sister you’re not having a baby shower.... so she ignores you and throws you a surprise baby shower anyway. Then you burst into tears when you walk into a room full of family and friends and SO MUCH love... Love you lots sis @brownstown29 ❤️. And thanks to everyone who came, it was overwhelming, beautiful, and just perfect.’

Baby Florence is Charlene White’s second child with partner Andy, after she welcomed son Alfie into the world in August 2017.
