The couple opted for a surrogate
Actress Gabrielle Union has revealed that she has welcomed a baby girl with her husband Dwyane Wade via a surrogate after suffering ‘eight or nine’ miscarriages
Gabrielle Union has announced her baby joy with husband and NBA star Dwyane Wade after enduring several miscarriages.
She's starred in films such as She’s All That, 10 Things I Hate About You and more recently Breaking In but last year Gabrielle opened up about her struggle to conceive and the devastating reality of having at least eight miscarriages.
In her memoir, titled We’re Going to Need More Wine, Gabrielle wrote: ‘I have had eight or nine miscarriages. For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant — I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.’
Dwyane already has three children from previous relationships, but Gabrielle has helped him raise the three boys who are now 16, 11, and four.
However, the couple were still desperate to have a child of their own together and confirmed their happy news with a sweet Instagram post.
Quoting the song Lovely Day by Bill Withers Gabrielle finished her post gushing: ‘A LOVELY DAY 👶🏾👶🏾👶🏾 We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days. Welcome to the party sweet girl! #onelastdance #skintoskin @dwyanewade ❤👑🥂 📸 by @awesomeedd’.

What to say to your kids instead of 'good girl' and 'good boy'
Although praising our children with words such as 'good boy' and 'good girl' come naturally to parents, research suggests this is outdated and needs to be reworded.
