Actress Jana Kramer has welcomed her second child with husband Mike Caussin
The One Tree Hill actress took to Instagram to announce that she and her American footballer husband had welcomed a baby boy, named Jace Joseph Caussin.
‘Welcome to the world, Jace Joseph Caussin,’ wrote Jana. ‘Our hearts are so full. Thank you to all of our friends and family..and all of you who have supported Mike and I, and our growing family.
‘We are so blessed, and a huge thank you to @avawomen for helping us grow our family. #rainbowbaby #blessed’.
The 34-year-old mum-of-two, who announced her pregnancy on her Instagram page back in the summer, has previously been open about she used an Ava fertility bracelet to help her conceive her second child.
‘Thanks @avawomen for helping us get pregnant by telling me my 5 most fertile days!’ she wrote back in June.
Jace is the second child for the couple, who have been married since 2015. They welcomed two-year-old Jolie back in 2016, a few months before celebrating their first wedding anniversary.
This happy news comes less than a year after Jana announced on Instagram that she had suffered from her second miscarriage, writing: ‘Today I am 1-3.’
‘I debated posting this for the exact reason why it’s a silent struggle. I don’t want I’m sorry or sympathy. I just don’t want to feel alone. And I know I’m not.’
‘When I first found out I was pregnant I wanted to shout it from the rooftop but I know for reasons like this we have to wait. So because we don’t tell many, we have to suffer silently…and suffering silently was my thing in the past, but it’s not now.
For the women out there who have miscarried in the past and need support and a place to grieve their little one lost […] let us all be there for each other.’
We’re so happy for Jana that she managed to get through that difficult and go on to finally welcome her bundle of joy.
