Lilly Allen has announced on social media that she's had to cancel shows because of illness after receiving 'devastating news'.
The mum-of-two took to social media to share the sad news with fans, saying she's had to cancel two of her tour shows in the US due to illness.
She wrote alongside the video: 'CHICAGO + MINNEAPOLIS,I have no choice but to cancel tonight and tomorrow’s shows, my throat and vocal chords are so inflamed and angry.Working on rescheduling and will have more info for you as soon as I get it. I am so sorry,I was so looking forward to seeing y’all'
In the clip, the singer said: 'Hello everybody I'm very sad to say I've hand to cancel my Chicago show tonight and my Minneapolis show tomorrow due to my sickness,"
'We are working on rescheduling both shows so I will get back to you with news about those... I'm just really really sorry, but this is unavoidable, I've been battling it for two weeks."
However, in a follow-up tweet, the singer added that she'd received 'truly devastating news'.
She added: 'I am really quite sick, and I've just had some truly devastating news. Can you trolls just allow me for today ? Thanks I'm (sic) advance.'

When asked by a fan if she was okay, Lily said she was shaken up but did not reveal what had happened.
She said: 'Not really. I can’t speak and I’m very shaken up by news from back home.'
After opening up about the situation, Lily received an outpour of support from her fans. One wrote: 'Get well soon Lily hope you feel better soon, big love❤️'.
Another said: 'Hope you get better soon and get some much needed rest 💖'.
Following the sweet messages of support, the pop star thanked everyone for their messages, writing: 'Overwhelmed by all the well wishers and how understanding everyone is being, thank you all so much. I will make it up to you all I promise . I have the best fans.'
