Celebrity hair stylist Nicky Clarke has become a dad again age 60, after welcoming a baby with his long-term girlfriend Kelly Simpkin.

Sources close to the couple told OK! that mother and baby are both doing well following the birth of the new arrival.

Kelly gave birth at The Portland Hospital for Women and Children, a private maternity hospital in London.

Duchess Meghan also welcomed baby Archie at this hospital a few months ago.

Describing The Portland, Kelly said, “It’s like being in a hotel! The care that you get is just second to none.”

Their baby girl, whose name is not yet publicly known, is the couple’s second child together. They also have one-year-old son Nico and have been together for 11 years.

Speaking to OK!, Nicky opened up about being a father again at an older age, “We feel really fortunate that we’re having another child. I’ve got a second chance at this.”

Nicky Clarke also has two other now adult children from a previous relationship, 33-year-old Harrison and 30-year-old Tellisa.

He now believes he’ll be more patient as a father this time, saying, “I have fantastic memories of being a new dad first time around. So in some respects it’s not much different.

“But I like to think I have more patience now. The truth of it is I’m probably around a lot more.”

Ahead of her birth, Kelly uploaded a final bump picture from hospital, writing, ‘Last bump picture! Here we go!!’
