Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash welcome their first child together

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have welcomed their first child together.

The Loose Women star, who announed her pregnancy only a couple of months ago, gave birth to the pair’s first baby together yesterday morning a lot earlier than expected.

Her TV presenter partner took to both of their respective Instagram pages to share the exciting news with their fans and friends.

Alongside an intimate photo that shows an exhausted Stacey cradling her newborn on her chest under a blanket, Joe wrote: ‘This morning. A lot earlier than planned I watched the love of my life, bring a new life into the world.

‘We are overwhelmed, overjoyed and apprehensive of what’s to come. Mummy and baby are well and resting.

‘We are so grateful for all of the love, support and positivity we’ve received over the last 8 months.

‘I’m lost for words to describe how I’m feeling. So for now, I’m going to spend the next few days and the rest of my life falling more in love with these two humans.

‘I didn’t think it possible but, today I witnessed the impossible. My partner, My love, my life, you are a super human. I am forever in awe. Joe X’

Though there’s still no word on the little one’s name (although Stacey has previously hinted at one), the proud dad went on to post two further images on his Instagram page, one of which revealed that the couple had welcomed a baby boy.

‘Good morning sonxxxxx,’ he captioned a sweet photo of him kissing his baby’s feet.

Followers flooded the new parents’ posts with messages of congratulations, with famous faces like Christine Lampard, who recently broke down in tears on Loose Women, Myleene Klass, who is expecting her first child, and most of the Loose Women panel and other ITV stars leaving well-wishes too.

However, many went on to praise the 29-year-old for sharing such a raw and candid photo, that even shows spots of blood on her hand, clothes and newborn baby’s forehead.

‘Most natural amazing picture ever,’ wrote one fan, ‘thank you for showing us celebrities are normal! She still looks amazing congratulations to u all xx’.

‘Congratulations,’ added another, ‘I have to say it is so great to see a women in the limelight put a realistic picture of what child birth is all about what and inspiration to women!!! X’.

Other echoed the sentiment, writing: ‘That has to be the most natural and beautiful photos x congratulations xxx’, ‘love how this pic is so real how labour really looks’ and ‘that’s what I love about her she’s so REAL’.

This is the third child for Stacey, who is already mum to 11-year-old Zachary and seven-year-old Leighton from previous relationships. And it is the second child for Joe who is dad to 11-year-old Harry from a previous relationship.
