Stacey Solomon reveals she still feels like a ‘single mother’ despite expecting baby with partner Joe Swash

Stacey Solomon has revealed that she still sees herself as a ‘single mother’, ahead of welcoming her third child with Joe Swash.

The Loose Women star is close to welcome her third child – and first with Joe – but even though she often gushes what a good father figure he is for her children, the mum has admitted she still feels like a single mum.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Stacey said: ‘Joe and I speak about this a lot and he is an incredible role model in the kids’ lives.

‘He supports me fully and he adores me and the children and it is wonderful.

‘But still fundamentally I feel like a single mum because they are solely my responsibility and I wouldn’t ask for anyone to take them on.’

Speaking about the birth, the 29-year-old revealed what her priorities will be – and it’s not looking good for the camera.

She said: ‘I have given birth twice so I know the mess that I get in. What is the point in having a beauty treatment before? It’s a waste of money.

‘The midwives aren’t going to care either. I will be puking up and there will be placenta everywhere and I will have a baby coming out of my vagina, I don’t think I will care.

‘I’m going to spend the money on a McDonalds on the way home from hospital.’

Stacey and Joe shared the lovely baby news back in February, with two very emotional posts on social media.

After joking that he thought Stacey was getting bored of him as she kept falling asleep everywhere – a common early sign of pregnancy – Joe spilled the beans and revealed how happy they were.

He wrote: ‘I can’t begin to describe how happy we are to be able to share this wonderful news.

‘We’ve been so blessed with 3 incredible children that we’ve had the privilege of raising and we are forever grateful to have the chance to become parents to another wonderful child.

‘It’s all very overwhelming and emotional and we couldn’t be happier right now.’
