Vicky Pattison has revealed the devastating news that her has grandmother passed away.
The TV star took to her social media to announce the sad news that she lost her grandmother yesterday.
Alongside a sweet series of photos that show her grandmother throughout her life, the reality TV star wrote in a statement on Instagram: ‘Today I said goodbye to one of the strongest, kindest, most beautiful and selfless people I have ever known. My Grandma.
‘I am so incredibly grateful for everything you taught me,’ she continued. ‘You showed me how to love, how to never give up, how to be a strong woman and always instilled in me the importance of family.
‘I am so unbelievably lucky to have had someone like you in my life as grandmother and a role model. Our family is what it is because of you and my grandpa David. Everyone who knew you both, always talks about how you were the nicest couple and your parties were absolutely prolific!! (I suppose I know where I get it from!)
‘I will miss you every day and want to THANKYOU for making me who I am. And I promise to do my best to make you proud,’ added the grieving granddaughter.
‘Rest in peace you wonderful, wonderful woman.’
Fans, friends and acquaintances flooded the post with messages and love and support for the former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here winner, writing: ‘Awww sorry for your loss. All the best and peaceful wishes for you and the family – Memories forever ❤’, ‘sorry for your loss hunni, you are dripping in strength right now and not a day goes by where at least one thing you do or say really inspires me to do better and be a better person, keep going girlie, much love xx’ and ‘So sorry for your loss….. I feel your pain, I lost my grandad yesterday. No words can describe the pain your feeling. Lots of of love x’.
She even had well wishes from across the globe with one far-flung follower commenting: ‘I’m very sorry for your loss, saying goodbye is the hardest part of loving someone. Sending big hugs from Australia XOXO’.
This heart-breaking news comes after a tough few months for the 31-year-old, as she confirmed her split from former-fiancé John Noble back in November and then recently came under fire for posting a photo of her sister’s wedding on Instagram.
Speaking to the MailOnline of her difficult break-up she said: ‘I don’t think about him anymore. I don’t know that man. He’s rang me a couple of times since. Unfortunately we own a house together…’
All our thoughts and well-wishes are with Vicky and her family at this difficult time.
