Gordon Ramsay's daughter Megan runs London Marathon in memory of baby brother

'This is for you Rocky 👼🏻⭐️ love and miss you everyday ❤'

Gordon Ramsay's daughter Megan ran the London Marathon on Sunday in loving memory of the baby brother that her family lost when her mum was five months pregnant.

A huge congratulations to the celebrity chef's daughter who completed the 26.3 miles for a wonderful reason, to remember her little brother Rocky.

Tana and Gordon lost their fifth child in June 2016 when Tana was five months pregnant.

The Hell's Kitchen star released a statement to his Facebook page at the time, revealing that tragically his wife had miscarried at 21 weeks and thanked fans for their support.

Nearly a year on and their eldest daughter Megan dedicated her marathon place to baby Rocky, writing on her fundraising page 'Last year I sadly lost my little brother Rocky while my mum was 5 months pregnant, and I miss him every day and I am running in loving memory of him.'

The teenager ran the 26.3 mile race for Great Ormond Street, a charity that she describes as being 'very close to mine and my family's heart'.

Back in February Megan shared her plan to run the marathon for Rocky with her Instagram followers, addressing her baby brother in an emotional caption which expressed how much she missed him.

'This April I am going to be running the London Marathon with Great Ormond Street Hospital which is a charity I love working with.

'I would be very grateful if you could take a minute out of you day to donate to a good cause, the link is in my bio ! Every donation will help change someone's life. This is for you Rocky 👼🏻⭐️ love and miss you everyday ❤'

After completing the marathon on Sunday, she took to Instagram once again to thank family and friends for their support and say how happy she was to have done it for Rocky.

'Happiest girl in the world ! @greatormondst 💜 thank you a million times to all my family and friends for being there every step of the way- can't believe I have done a marathon ! 🏃🏻 ♀️ this is for you Rocky 👼🏻'

Many of Megan's 91k followers rushed to support her, writing messages of sympathy and love in memory of her brother.

One Instagram user wrote, 'Aww, rest in peace Rocky! ❤️❤️❤️' whilst another added, 'Congratulations. You are an inspiration. 😘'.

Amazingly Megan has raised more than her £2,000 target, reaching almost £5,500.

Of all her supporters her parents gave one of her biggest donations of £1,000 and wrote, 'So proud of you, a very impressive 18 year old. All our love Mummy & Daddy xxxxxxx.'
