Sarah Jayne Dunn, best known for playing Mandy Richardson in Hollyoaks, has revealed she's married her partner of five years Jon Smith.
The couple tied the knot in Cheshire over the sunny May bank holiday weekend and were surrounded be family and friends.
Soap-star Sarah Jayne Dunn announced she was engaged to her personal trainer boyfriend Jon Smith back in December 2016.
The couple, who have a 21-month-old son called Stanley, finally said 'I Do' over the May bank holiday weekend.
The ceremony was held at The Holford Estate in Cheshire and the day was captured for OK! Magazine (opens in new tab).
Sarah and Jon met five years ago, and the Hollyoaks actress stresses that she knew he was the one from the start.
Speaking about her special day, she told OK!: 'To marry in front of our son was such a special moment. I knew Jon was the one for me the first day I met him.'
She continued: 'After we met at my audition I texted Carley [Stenson], saying: "I have to get this job because I need to get to know this guy!".'
Jon was equally as overwhelmed with emotion as Sarah. He gushed: 'I feel so proud to call Sarah my wife. I honestly think I fell in love with Sarah the first day I met her.'
Sarah's Hollyoaks' co-stars Danny Mac, Carley Stenson, Ali Bastian and Jodi Albert all made it to the wedding and were there to celebrate the couple's happy day.
Sarah shared a picture from the OK! photo shoot on her Instagram and fans have been quick to offer the couple their congratulations.
One person wrote: 'Congratulations to the both of you - hope you had a magical day x x x'.
Another said: 'Huge congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉 you look absolutely stunning!'
The bride wore a white strapless gown with an elaborate fishtail design which was perfect given the beautiful weather.
The couple were lucky enough to enjoy the hottest May bank holiday on record with temperatures reaching over 28°C.
Due to work commitments, the couple can't go on a honeymoon just yet but they will be jetting to Santorini, in Greece for five more days of sunshine and quality time together in June.
The full wedding interview is in OK! Magazine which goes on sale on Tuesday 15 May.
