Katie Price sparks controversy after appearing to miss her daughter’s first ever day of school

Katie has been subject to criticism after seemingly missing her daughter's first day of school.

Katie Price has come under fire after appearing to miss four-year-old Bunny's first ever day of school.

Currently, 40-year-old Katie is understood to be enjoying a sun-drenched holiday in Magaluf with rumoured new love interest Alex Adderson, 25, following her recent split from partner Kris Boyson.

However, fans of the star were disappointed to learn that she was absent for Bunny's first day of school - with her estranged ex-husband Kieran Hayler doing the very first school run on his own.

Taking to social media, 31-year-old Kieran has shared a snap of both Bunny and her older brother, 5-year-old Jett, ready for their first day back at school.

Kieran captions the adorable snap: 'Back to school!!!! So proud of my 2 gorgeous children, both brave and looking forward to their school year.'

The father-of-two adds: 'Bunny’s first day and so proud of jett being there to support her as she went into her classroom.'

Emotionally, he then shared: 'Not going to lie I was close to tears as I am sure many parents will be as they send their little one in for the first day of school.'

Fans have been quick to comment on the adorable post, with some pointing out that Katie didn't appear present for Bunny's special day.

One concerned user shared: 'Katie is acting so out of character, missing Bunny's first day of school.'

However, others have been quick to defend the Loose Women star: 'Wow I seriously can not believe the comments on her regarding @officialkatieprice! No one actually knows what is going on in Katie’s life you all go by what you see and read in the media.'

We're sure Katie won't take the online speculation to heart, as the mother-of-five is used to often sparking online debate.

In fact, she has always remained candidly honest about the ups-and-downs of motherhood.

Recently, Katie opened up about her fears for oldest son Harvey - who suffers from Prader-Willi, a condition which means he is constantly hungry and causes morbid obesity in children.

Discussing Harvey's wellbeing, Katie revealed fears surrounding his risk of diabetes.

We'd love to hear your thoughts on the controversy - should Katie have made sure she was at Bunny's first day of school? Head over to our Faceboo page and have your say.
