Katie Price reveals in shocking snap that her beloved horse has died in a tragic accident

Kate Price has revealed in a shocking post on Instagram that one of her horses has tragically died after being hit by a car in a terrible accident.

The mum-of-five took to social media to share the news of the horrific accident that has left her 'devastated' and in a state of shock.

Describing what happened to one of her beloved horses, Katie posted a shocking photo of a crumpled car with the windscreen smashed before sharing the details of the tragic accident with her fans, where she described the driver of the car as 'very lucky' to be alive.

'Last night our friend's horses including one of ours escaped from their field and ran onto the road we are devastated,' Katie began her post.

'We are extremely upset to find out one of our horses was killed last night being hit by a car and don't appreciate that someone was circulating pictures of our horse dead in the road and put on Facebook!'

Katie then went on to wish the driver of the car well, and thank the police and the local community for their support following the accident.

'Thank god the driver of this car was very lucky and escaped and wish him well,' Katie wrote. 'Police were amazing and so was the local community and thank them all! Our friends other 4 horses thank god are alive with a couple of them injured and are still being treated by the vet and will be ok.'

The Loose Women star also described how witnessing the aftermath of the accident has left her shaken, brining back memories of a terrible car crash she was involved in previously while on holiday in Argentina.

'We are in shock still,' Katie said. 'Reminds me again of the time in Argentina when I was involved in a horrific car accident when the car I was in killed two horses that died in my arms.'

Fans rushed to share their condolences and comfort the star with kind words.

'Omg this is heartbreaking, thinking of you all RIP beautiful horse,' commented one of Katie's fans on Instagram. Another added, 'So sorry for your loss Katie that's horrendous.'

Katie later posted a photo showing she was safely back at home, spending time with three of her children, Harvey, Junior and Princess.
