'My beautiful baby arrived' Laura Tobin reveals that she's given birth prematurely
Good Morning presenters Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid confirmed the happy news
Good Morning Britain weather presenter Laura Tobin has revealed that she's given birth prematurely.
Laura's colleagues, Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid broke the news this morning, but revealed they've waited to announce Laura's arrival with husband Dean Brown.
The 35-year old announced her pregnancy on GMB earlier this year and has been absent from the ITV show throughout the summer.
'You may have noticed that Laura, our weather goddess hasn't been around over the summer,' Piers grinned as he began today's programme. 'We are really pleased to say she has given birth to a little baby girl.'
With fellow presenter, Susanna adding: 'And she has called her baby Charlotte.'
'It was always going to be either Susanna or Charlotte,' joked Piers, with an implied nod to his fellow presenters, Susanna and Charlotte Hawkins.
'Little Charlotte came a little earlier than planned and she is being very well looked after in hospital,' Susanna continued. The tot was originally due end of October.

'Laura and Dean are with her every day and she is growing in strength every day. Laura describes her as beautiful.'
Susanna added that she knows the couple will be up early and watching the show, saying: 'Lots of love to all of you.'
'All our best to Laura and Dean and little baby Charlotte. It's been a tricky few months but good luck to all of you,' Piers agreed.
New mum Laura also took to Twitter to confirm the news with her 76.8k followers: 'I'm proud to announce i'm a mummy-My beautiful baby arrived over the summer (much earlier than planned) a gorgeous girl called Charlotte,' she wrote.
And the congratulations came flooding in, 'Many congratulations, Laura. Wishing all three of you the very best. x,' said one fan.
While another said: 'Wow. Brilliant news Laura. Congratulations to all of you. No forecast needed today. It's a good one already!'
