A mum has shared a genius hack that means you'll never have to lift your child in and out of a trolley again...

Laura Castrillo, from Houston, Texas, took to Facebook to reveal what she claims is the 'best mum hack you'll ever find' and we might have to agree with her.

Taking kids shopping can be a lot of hassle, but at least having them in the trolley means they won't be leaving your side. However, lifting your child to put them in the trolley can be difficult, especially if you have a bad back and as your child gets bigger.

Enter Laura with her genius hack - turns out you can just lift the panel of the shopping trolley to let your child crawl in!

Writing in Love What Matters, Laura explained: 'After one of those trips a few weeks ago, my mom told me her back was sore from all the lifting in and out. That’s when I shared the trick with her.

'Behold, the best mom hack you’ll ever find. Do your part to make a mama’s life easier by sharing this. You can LIFT the panel of your cart to let your children crawl in.'

Laura goes on to say she learned the clever trick from her stepmum, who had to lift her disabled stepbrother, and now she does it with her own kids.

The mum-of-three decided to share the secret in a private group on Facebook at first, but she was quickly urged to make it public by other parents and grandparents who said more people could really benefit from it.

Since sharing the short clip on social media over the weekend, Laura has been surprised with the reaction it's gotten - it's been shared over 28k times and had more than 1.7 million views!

She added: 'While it may seem silly, the comments I’ve seen from parents who hadn’t known about this little trick have really been great. Moms with special needs children who are heavy but need to be in the cart, moms who are in the final stages of pregnancy and have toddlers that can’t be left to walk around in the store, and grandparents like my mom who are disabled but love spending time with grandkids in any way that they can.'
