'I'd love to go' Peter Andre reveals the career sacrifice he's making for his children

The dad-of-four reveals decisions over moving to the US

Singer and TV favourite Peter Andre has opened up about plans to move to Hollywood in the future.

At the beginning of September Peter's friend and ex-TOWIE star Mark Wright moved to LA to work as a correspondent for Extra TV, and now Peter has revealed he'd 'love' to go and see him.

Speaking exclusively to OK! magazine, Peter said: 'He's a really nice guy so I'd love to see him. Obviously we're doing a similar thing, but I'm going into the big screen.

'I've always joked that he's the younger, better-looking version of me but I'm so proud of him. He's a Brit out in America doing what he loves and we should be encouraging him.'

The 90s heartthrob also told the title that he'd ruled out a permanent move at the moment - even though he has got the two Hollywood film roles in the pipeline. As a doting husband to Emily MacDonagh and dad to Junior, 12, Princess, 10, Amelia, three and baby Theo, 11 months old, Peter is unlikely to make the move across the pond until the children are older.

'With the kids it would be difficult,' he explained. 'I have J and P [Junior and Princess] half the time and I'm not going anywhere while they're still in school.'

However, Peter, 44, hasn't completely ruled out the idea of following in Mark's footsteps with a big move in the future.

'I'm still young and when the kids finish school things could be different,' he admitted.

'I'm focused on setting up their bank accounts, them getting their education, hopefully getting into university, and then we can decide what we're doing to do.'

While Peter is English-born, his family made the move to Australia in 1979, when he was six years old.

He gained fame as a singer with hit songs 'Mysterious Girl' and 'Flava', and is is also well known for his appearances on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here and Strictly Come Dancing, as well as his reality series with ex-wife Katie Price, who is the mother of his two eldest children.

We'd be sad to see you go, Pete. What do you think? Let us know in the comments box below.
