Pink labelled a 'role model' and 'inspiration' for sharing intimate breastfeeding picture

Pink has been praised by followers for sharing an intimate insight into her home life as a new mum, showing how she juggles breastfeeding and looking after her two children young children.

The singer shared a beautiful photo to her Instagram page that shows her and her two little ones relaxing in bed.

The 37 year old is pictured lying back, propped up by pillows, while breastfeeding her two-month-old son Jameson.

But it seems that her daughter Willow, five, didn't want to miss out on the fun, sprawling across her mum's lap to give her a big hug.

Pink captioned the sweet snap with a spiritual poem from Iranian poet Rumi.

It read: 'I was dead - I came alive. I was tears - I became laughter. Love's wealth arrived, And I became Everlasting fortune.' -rumi'

Pink's followers flooded the image with messages of praise and support, labelling the Just Like a Pill singer an 'inspiration' and 'role model'.

One Instagram user said, 'I'm so proud of you. And so happy for you. Your story brings me hope. Thx for sharing yourself generously in all seasons.' and another agreed, 'You are just amazing and inspiring!!'.

Others felt that by sharing her motherhood journey, the performer acts as someone for 'mums everywhere' to look up to.

One social media user even shared their own experiences of breastfeeding, revealing how difficult it can be to handle more than one child at a time.

'Thank you for this picture @pink This is a scene I know oh so well, big sibling wanting to be as close to you as the baby is. Sometimes I find the physical side of motherhood just totally overwhelming, especially when they are both on me.

'I don't think I realised just how much children need to touch, to be held. It can feel like my body isn't my own. But then there are quiet moments like this, when it all works.'

Pink shares her two children with husband Carey Hart, both of whom regularly show off their growing brood on social media.

Carey and Pink tied the knot back in 2006 in an intimate ceremony in Costa Rica.
