Poundland have launched a super affordable school uniform range
Say hello to some back to school savings!
After spending a six-week summer holiday spending money on going away, kids days out and inevitable extra treats being picked up every time the offspring tag along to the supermarket/high-street (they’ll even manage to find something in the post office), the purse strings always seem a bit tight.
But unfortunately then comes the dreaded back to school shop. Uniform, stationery, the new backpack that everyone must have - it doesn’t end.
Enter high street giant Poundland. The store’s Back-To-School shop includes everything you and the little ones might need come the first week of September.
Prices for the range start at £1 and are super reasonable, as you can get a whole uniform set for less than £10. Definitely beats lots of other high-street favourites.
You can get a full uniform consisting of a polo shirt, blue or red sweater and either trousers or a skirt for £6, or £7 if you want a two-pack of polo shirts. The range also includes football shorts, pinafores and cardigans all available in over 300 Poundland stores across the UK and Ireland.
With a recent survey showing that throughout the country parents are predicted to spend over £1.4 billion getting their kids ready for school, that’s £174.31 per child, a budget range like this can lend a helpful hand.

You can also take advantage of the store’s offers and stock up on their stationery range too.
It comes in at half the price of other high street stores with coloured pens, pencil cases, pen pots, document wallets, notebooks, academic calendars all available at £1.
‘This is an important moment for Poundland,’ says the store’s UK & Ireland Managing Director Barry Williams, ‘being able, thanks to our roll-out of PEP&CO, to bring a one-stop back-to-school choice on high streets our customers love and live.’
‘What’s more, whether it’s back-to-school wear or essential supplies, we’ve been anything but ‘stationary’ – we’ve investing in improving quality and style with the value we’re already famous for,’ he added.
Better get the pounds out and get down to the high street!
