Canadian actress Shenae Grimes and her husband Josh Beech have revealed they are expecting their first child - and it's going to be a baby girl.
The 28-year-old actress, who is best known for her role as Annie Wilson in television series 90210, announced the happy news via Instagram last night.
Posting a picture of her growing baby bump, musician husband Josh, 31, can be seen cradling Shenae’s tummy in the sweet snap.
Shenae simply captioned the photo: ‘#notafoodbaby’ and tagged photographer Lucas Rossi.
The post has already garnered over 43,700 likes and was posted alongside another official snap for People magazine which saw the cute couple cosying up to one another.
‘Well it's official... I'm definitely a grown-up! @joshbeech and I are so excited to welcome this badass baby girl into our world and I am so thrilled to be able to finally share this crazy journey with you guys! Of course, the actress was inundated with comments from fans who were delighted for her.
‘I am really really happy for you!! I wish you the best and cant wait to see your beautiful baby girl!’ One follower posted, while another added: ‘That is going to be the prettiest baby.’
Speaking to People magazine, Shenae revealed that she thinks her British husband was born to be a father.
'I feel like being a father was something Josh was put on this planet to do, and I'm thrilled that we're welcoming a daughter because I know how special the bond between my mum and I has always been,' she said.
Shenae also spoke about her pregnancy via her blog Lost In LA, where she revealed it wasn’t exactly planned.
'It wasn't totally planned but we decided to let the fates determine when the timing was right for us to hop on this ride of a lifetime and evidently, they thought the time was now and I couldn't agree more,' she wrote.
'We have so much love and laughter in our house that in a way, it'd feel selfish not to share it with another little human.'
Shenae and Josh began dating in early 2012, before he proposed in December of that year. The pair married in Kent in May 2013.
