Ant McPartlin has broken his social media silence after a turbulent few months by wishing co-host Declan Donnelly a very happy birthday.
Taking to the pair's shared Twitter account, the 'slightly taller' half of Britain's favourite TV duo shared a sweet message for his best pal.
'Happy birthday to the little fella from the ever so slightly taller fella!!xxxx#bigdonsbday' he wrote.
Ant's return to the @antanddec account was applauded by hundreds of fans, who took to their comments in their droves to welcome him back and wish Dec many happy returns.
'Welcome back Ant you've been missed & Happy Birthday Dec hope you had a good 1,' said one commenter.
Another agreed: 'Aww it is so lovely to see you back on twitter hope you are keeping well looking forward to seeing you in I'm a celebrity.'
'Lovely 2 see you back,' wrote a third. 'I so can relate 2 you, going threw detox atm myself. Enjoy your life now I'm looking at it as a new chapter in life.'
Ant's hiatus from social media began on the 12th of August, when he thanked fans for their continued support during his well publicised battle with his mental health and addiction (opens in new tab).
'Have to say I'm overwhelmed by everyone's love, support and well wishes today. Thank you one and all. I'm sending all my love back. A xxx' he wrote.
Earlier this summer, Ant admitted himself into rehab after a three year addition to prescription painkillers and alcohol.
The issues began after a knee operation in 2014, when he was prescribed co-codamol and codeine for the pain.
'I didn't think it was a problem then, but you just keep taking them,' he said in an interview with The Sun (opens in new tab). 'They're very hard to come off. I was taking them more regularly, more regularly. 'I was moved on to tramadol, which is where the real problems started.'
However, things look to be getting back on track for the Geordie star, who has just been confirmed to host this years I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! with best bud Dec.
Dec had reportedly refused to host what will be their 16th series if Ant was still going through his recovery and unable to join him.
