Britain's Got Talent star George Sampson helps catch thief who stole little boy's birthday money
The dancer ran after the robber
Britain's Got Talent star George Sampson proved to be a real-life hero after catching a thief while he was out running in London.
You may remember him as the 2008 winner of Britain's Got Talent for his impressive dancing skills, but now the 22 year old proved he also has the hero gene in his DNA.
The dancer took to Facebook to tell the story of how he caught a thief in London, who tried to steal a little boy's birthday money in the street.
He may be known for his talent as a dancer, but turns out George is a hero too
George was free running in the capital with a friend, when he heard a woman screaming because she and her son had been robbed.
After seeing that the police was chasing after one of the men, George decided to chase after the other one in what sounded like a very exciting pursuit.
'We saw a police officer chasing one man and the other man ran in the opposite direction... ', George wrote.

'We flipped a few walls and free ran our way to his direction, 5 minutes of chasing him and we had him under citizens arrest waiting for the police to arrive.'
The little boy and his mum, from Cardiff, were targeted by robbers during a trip to London.
'He apparently stole the kid's birthday money who was enjoying a birthday trip to London from Cardiff... He was never gonna outrun us... Felt like something from a movie!', the star explained on Facebook.

And even the boy's mum, Ella Mason, commented to thank the TV celebrity.

George found fame as a contestant in the 2008 edition of Britain's Got Talent, which he eventually won at just 14 years old for his fantastic talent as a dancer.
Now he's about to start a new challenge as an actor in ITV1's hit soap Emmerdale as Ryan, and will be involved in Danny Miller's abuse storyline, played by Aaron Livesy.
Speaking to Manchester Evening News, the dancer-turned-actor said of his first day on set: 'I was crazy nervous. It was because I didn't realise the scale of things and how big it is and how many teams there are.'
Britain's Got Talent 2022 is back on April 16th on ITV.
