Binky Felstead has confessed in a new interview that being a single mum has made her feel ‘quite low’ sometimes.

The former Made in Chelsea star welcomed her first child back in 2017, with Josh ‘JP’ Patterson.

The pair announced they had split back in September, and now the mum is getting  honest about the realities of being a single parent.

Speaking to Women’s Health, she said: ‘Of course there are times where I think, “F***, I’m on my own and I’ve got a baby”.

Binky has since given birth to her third child.

‘But I’ve always been a believer in what’s meant to be is meant to be and that things happen for a reason and that’s how I’ve just kind of led my life.’

‘I can get quite low scrolling through Instagram and seeing all these happy, or what looks like happy, families – mums and dads and babies.’

The 28-year-old also confessed that while their relationship as co-parents has been good so far, things could get trick when one of them meets someone.

She said: ‘It’s going to throw a spanner in the works when one of us meets someone. I know we’re both adult enough to be kind of fine.

‘I just think it’s going to be quite weird at the beginning. It’s little things like, I can still go to his parents’ house for the weekend with him and India. We want to keep that.’

While the pair were no longer together when Binky found out she was pregnant, they resumed their relationship soon after.

But a year after welcoming baby India, Binky and Josh announced on social media that they had decided to go their separate ways.

The reality TV star wrote on social media at the time: ‘It is with a heavy heart we have to tell you that we have decided to separate as a couple.

‘We are still a family and India is, and will always be the absolute light of our lives.

‘However we have realised we are on very different paths at the moment, although we still adore each other, we need to give each other the space to grow.’
