Country singer Chris Stapleton and wife Morgane expecting fifth child just months after welcoming twins
Country singer Chris Stapleton has revealed that his wife Morgane is expecting their fifth child, just months after welcoming twins.
The couple will soon become parents for a fifth time, after the artist revealed the lovely news during one of his gigs.
The announcement was recorded in a video obtained by The Blast, which shows the 40-year-old sharing the happy news with fans while performing in New York City's Madison Square Garden.
Referencing his wife, who's a singer-songwriter and performs in her husband's band, he said: 'I've got an announcement to make. Some of you may know that we have four children.'
'Now there’s four for us, but we’re gonna make it five!'
Chris and Morgane's baby news come just seven months after the two became proud parents to twins.
They welcomed the little ones in April, a month earlier than their due date, and Morgane confirmed the news by posting a sweet picture of her with her new babies.

She wrote at the time: 'Thank you for all the love! We’re so grateful to finally be home with our sweet family. We would like to say a special thank you to all the incredible nurses & doctors at Centennial Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Nashville.
'At more than a month early, we had a week long stay in the nicu & the incredible people there kept our boys healthy & happy. Words cannot express our gratitude for you all & what you did for our family. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! ♥️♥️'
The couple, who got married in 2007, are also parents to a son and daughter but have chosen not to publicly reveal their names.
While it's very happy news for the couple, the pregnancy goes against official advice that you should wait at least a year to get pregnant again after welcoming a baby.
Just last week, a new study suggested that new mums risk the health of both themselves and their unborn babies if they get pregnant again within a year of giving birth, as it can lead to serious medical conditions.
Congratulations to Chris and Morgane!
