Joe Swash has revealed he was ‘gutted’ after missing baby Rex’s latest milestone.

The I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here Now! presenter recently welcomed his first child with Loose Women panellist Stacey Solomon – and the couple have been very open about their first month with the newborn.

And just a few days after opening up about the sleeping and breastfeeding struggles that mum-of-three Stacey has been experiencing, the pair have again taken to social media with an update on their one-month-old son, this time to reveal his latest milestone.

Posting a sweet close up snap of baby Rex with a grin on his face, Stacey wrote on Instagram: ‘They say he’s got windy smiles, I say he’s having happy thoughts. This is probably my favourite picture ever. I keep looking at it and smiling. I’ll be using this to get me through the night feeds from now on!’

However, dad Joe opened up to fans about how he was ‘gutted’ to miss it.

Taking to his own Instagram account, the 37-year-old shard the same adorable photo, writing: ‘How is my luck. I Had 2 go away for work and Rex has his first smile, gutted’.

Fans were quick to reassure the dad-of-two, with comments including: ‘Aww one smile out of a billion you won’t miss’ and ‘There’ll be plenty of other milestones @realjoeswashy don’t worry things can only get better❤.’

Others were taken with how similar the baby boy looked to his dad, while many suggested that the tot was thinking of his dad which is why he was smiling.

‘Lucky it was caught on camera,’ pointed out several followers.

However, many were distracted from adorable Rex by the man who appears in the background of the photo.

‘Who's the guy in the back ground looking fed up?’ wrote one bemused follower.

While others were convinced that it appeared to be tennis ace Andy Murray, The Greatest Showman actor Zac Efron and even Avengers star Chris Hemsworth.

‘Omg @realjoeswashy you need to get back to @staceysolomon right away,’ wrote one fan, ‘she’s only gone and replaced you with Chris Hemsworth her own super hero, she went from joker Joe to sexy Thor ❤’.

‘Has Zac Effron popped over for tea?!’ added another.

Other followers commented: ‘I thought it was Andy Murray’ and ‘Looks like Andy Murray is photobombing!’.

Let’s hope Joe manages to figure out the identity of the mystery guy and that he makes it home in time for little Rex’s next grin!
