Nadine Mulkerrin and Rory Douglas-Speed have welcomed first child together.
The Hollyoaks stars, who play Cleo McQueen and Joel Dexter on the Channel 4 soap, both took to their social media pages to announce the happy news to the world.
Sharing an intimate snap of the family-of-three from just after she’d given birth, Nadine revealed to her 404,000 Instagram followers that the pair had welcomed a son, writing, ‘Reggie Speed 💙 Your the coolest little dude we never knew we were missing in our lives! We love you so Much 💙
‘Also Thank you to every incredible NHS worker we’ve come across at the womens,’ she added of the staff at Liverpool Women’s Hospital where she gave birth. ‘Your all walking angels. Thank you so much for making one of the biggest moments of our lives so extra special with care.’
Rory also shared a sweet picture of the trio with his 281,000 followers, writing, ‘Welcome to the family wee Reggie Speed 15.10.19‘We love You man ❤️👪 So proud of Nadine, I didn’t think I could love her anymore but my heart is bloody bursting! She was amazing throughout her labour,
‘Women are seriously Superhuman x’.
Both posts were met with an abundance of congratulatory comments and each raked up thousands of likes.
Fellow Hollyoaks stars Sophie Porley (who plays Ellie Nightingale), Stephanie Davis (Sinead O’Connor) and Kieron Richardson (Ste Hay) wrote, ‘Congratulations, so so happy for you guys ❤️❤️❤️’, ‘Congrats beautiful u will be the best mummy! Beautiful family ❤️❤️❤️ so so chuffed for you xxx’ and ‘Biggest smile on my face for you two....congrats xxxx’.

The pair announced that they were expecting a baby back in June when they attended the 2019 British Soap Awards.
Nadine wore a gorgeous cream dress that showed off her growing baby bump, while the pair posed on the red carpet.
It’s been a busy year for the new mum and dad, as they also announced their engagement back in February.
Sharing the news with OK! Magazine they revealed that Rory popped the question during a romantic winter break in Amsterdam.
