Stacey Solomon welcomed her first child with partner Joe Swash last week, but the next day the TV star received the news that her dad had been involved in a car accident.
Stacey’s dad David revealed that he had been in a car accident just one day after the birth of his grandson on social media, where he shared pictures and a video of the scary ordeal.
The wedding photographer shared a picture of the back of his car that was crashed into, and wrote alongside it: ‘Please don’t look at your phones whilst driving this happened to me a few days ago and we were so lucky.’
He also shared a video of the moment it happened, as he had a dashboard camera recording.
Suggesting that the accident was caused by the other driver because he was looking at his phone, he wrote: ‘Don’t look at your phone 📱 #driving #car #accident #family #fines #license #no this is what happened to me a few days ago still sore #hospital #injury.’
The scary news comes just a few days after Stacey confessed to fans how devastated she was by not being pregnant anymore, as she shared a snap of Joe kissing her postpartum belly.
She wrote alongside the post: ‘I’ve lost it today. I really miss my bump and baby being inside me. I don’t feel I appreciated it enough while I was pregnant and now it’s over. Joe and I didn’t have one picture of him with my bump.
‘The thought of not having that memory has been really getting me down so today, Joe and my Dad helped me get a picture of what’s left of my bump to cheer me up. I love them so much. It’s not the same but it still means the world to me.
‘The truth is I’m devastated that my belly is shrinking by the day. I wish it could stay around for a little longer. I feel empty and hollow. Not to mention like I’ve been punched in the vagina. 💙’.
