Harry Kane, who's currently playing for England in the World Cup in Russia, could miss the birth of his second child back home as his wife is due to give birth any day now.

The footballer is enjoying tremendous success in Russia as the England team have made it through to the semi-finals, but that also means he's very likely to miss a once in a lifetime event - the birth of his second child.

His fiancée, Katie Goodland, is currently pregnant and while it's not confirmed, it's thought her due date is sometime between late June and early July.

The couple announced the pregnancy in January, and as this is usually done at the three month mark, Katie's due date will likely be very soon.

Since then, Harry Kane's wife Katie is pregnant with their fourth child.

The couple announced they're expecting their second child back in January

The expectant mum already had her baby shower a couple of weeks ago, on the same day England played Panama, and as expected all the guests were able to watch the big match at the event.

Katie shared pictures of the lovely day, spent with her friends and family, but without her better half, who was busy scoring three goals.

She also shared a snap of her little girl, one-year-old Ivy, who was wearing an England shirt that says 'Daddy' on the back.

The couple, who got engaged in July last year, revealed the lovely baby news back in January, with a sweet snap of their daughter sitting on a bed and looking at a children’s book with the title ‘I’m going to be the best big sister ever’.

Alongside the adorable picture, Harry wrote: 'Our beautiful Ivy is going to be a big sister! 😍💚😘 Exciting times ahead! 👶🏼 @KateGoodlandx #bigsister #pregnant #family'.

Harry is not the only dad on the national team who was expecting a baby while away in the tournament. Fabian Delph flew back to be with his wife for the birth of his third child, missing the game against Colombia but making it back for the Saturday against Sweden.

He said of Gareth Southgate's decision to let him go home: 'Gareth understands how important family is because we speak about it a lot. He was with England, and got back for the birth of one of his children, and made it by ten minutes so hopefully I can do the same.'

Technically Harry Kane could attempt to do the same, but with only two matches left and so close together, it might be tricky for the dad to make it back and fly to Russia again if England make it to the final.
