Looking for a new idea for nibbles when guests come round? Or how about something sweet and crunchy for a salad? These sticky pecan nuts take seconds to make and can be used for all sorts of things. You could also crush them with a pestle and mortar and sprinkle over vanilla ice-cream or add some cinnamon and stir them into your breakfast porridge for an indulgent treat. We've used maple syrup to give the pecan nuts and sticky, sugary glaze but brown sugar would also work well. Why not try walnuts with a bit of rosemary or almonds with some grated orange zest?
