A lighter twist on the usual burgers. Using a seasoned turkey mince mixture fried in thin rounds makes delicious, juicy, healthier choice. Serve simply with salad or pop on top of toasted granary bread roll halves.
Ingredients
- 500g turkey mince
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 115g fresh white breadcrumbs
- 1tsp celery salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 medium egg, beaten
- 4tbsp reduced fat mayonnaise
- 4tbsp low fat natural yogurt
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 4tbsp vegetable oil
- A few sprigs parsley, roughly chopped

Method
- Put the mince in a bowl and mix in the onion, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. Bind together with the egg. Divide into 16 and form each into a thin patty about 6cm in diameter. Place on a board lined with baking parchment, cover and chill for at least 30 mins.
- For the mayonnaise dip, mix the mayonnaise, yogurt and garlic together. Season to taste, then cover and chill until required.
- Heat the oil in a large frying and cook the patties in 2 batches for about 5 mins on each side until lightly golden and cooked through.
- To serve, drain the patties and serve with the mayonnaise dip, and a few parsley leaves scattered on top.
