Cheryl opens up about dating following her breakup with Liam Payne

Unlucky in love Cheryl has declared her dating life over!

Cheryl has candidly joked that her dating life is over following her split from boyfriend Liam Payne, andshe’s adamant the only man she needs in her life is son Bear.

Cheryl welcomed her first child with boyfriend Liam Payne back in July. The couple had a somewhat whirlwind romance but it sadly came to an end earlier this year.

The couple released a joint statement that read: ‘We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It’s been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family.’

Since then Cheryl has been very quiet on social media and very rarely shares updates on her personal or family life with her 3.7 followers in Instagram.

However, Cheryl was recently a dinner guest over at singer Jessie Ware’s house to feature on the podcast Table Manners when she made a candid admission about the future of her love life.

Cheryl quite simply said that it was over and that she wasn’t really interested in finding another man.

The mother-of-one has had two failed marriages, first to footballer Ashley Cole in 2006 then to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in 2014 before her split with Liam earlier this year.

Cheryl joked to Jessie: ‘I know what I want in life, but in the romantic area, I am not as evolved. That area has stopped. It’s not happening anymore. It’s the end. It’s the end.’

Cheryl and Liam appeared to be very happy together in this pic from August last year

Awkwardly during the dinner table chat Jessie’s mum Helena quipped that Cheryl should hook up with a Chelsea footballer in Surrey…

Cheryl brushed Helena’s innocent comment aside and joked: ‘Been there, done that.’

Jessie tried to encourage Cheryl to keep her options open and declared: ‘No, you’re too beautiful’, but Cheryl’s mind seemed pretty made up.

The only man Cheryl’s got room in her heart for is her now one-year-old son Bear.

She said: ‘I’ve got the man in my life now. [Bear]’.

Cheryl is set to release new music for the first time since 2015 and there has been a lot of speculation that the songs are about Liam.

In her new single, Love Made Me Do It, the lyrics say: ‘I’m such a sucker, I fall in love with every f***er.’

The mother-of-one has outright denied any link between the song and her ex and said the songs for her new album were written way before the split.

She said: ‘That’s the easiest thing for the critics to write. But actually, all the music and songs I’ve got ready were done way before we split... none of them are about anybody.’
