In the padlock, Kelvin had written: 'Kelvin and Maria, Engaged in Paris. Our next chapter together always'.

Before the romantic trip, Kevin also took to Twitter to say how special Paris is to them, as they even named their daughter after the city.

'After visiting Paris two years we had that much of an amazing time and loved the city so much we used it in our daughters name. Two years later and we are travelling there again tomorrow to make more memories... our special place @MariaFowler,' Kevin wrote on Twitter, before getting down on one knee.

The pair have been together for two and a half years, and already share a child together - Evie Paris Batey - who they welcomed in September 2016.

After becoming parents, Maria and Kelvin didn't immediately share pictures of their baby's face online, and waited 15 weeks to post a picture on social media.

Explaining why they waited at the time, Maria told The Sun: 'We decided it was the right time now she is a bit older. At the beginning we really wanted to enjoy our time with her without judgement from people online.'

Before the big reveal, Maria still shared family snaps but chose not to show Evie's face by blurring, using emojis or using different angles.

Reality TV star Maria and professional BMX racer Kelvin first announced they were expecting their first child back in March 2016, with an adorable picture of them wearing trainers and a tiny pair for the new baby in between.

The adorable family picture was completed by their their miniature Daschund, who also made an appearance.
