Michelle Mone announces her engagement to partner Doug Barrowman
Ultimo tycoon Michelle Mone is set to wed billionaire businessman Doug Barrowman.
Michelle Mone has revealed she is engaged to her partner Doug Barrowman, after two years of dating.
The Glaswegian Ultimo lingerie founder took to Instagram on Thursday to make the announcement, sharing a photo of her and her Scottish fiancé beaming with joy as they stood side by side, with the caption: 'I said YES'
Fans rushed to congratulate the couple, with one user commenting: 'Wonderful news! Many many congratulations to you both and a Very Happy 2019!'
Michelle and Doug first met at a business dinner in 2016. They have been living together at her home on the Isle of Man since 2017.
Doug is the founder and Chairman of Knox Group Companies, which offers financial services to clients such as wealth planning and investment sourcing.
In an interview with Hello! magazine, Michelle spoke fondly of first meeting Doug: 'In every way, I came to see that I'd met my match in this amazing man and no one has ever made me feel as cherished or respected.'

Michelle, who is now known as Baroness Mone of Mayfair, will be getting married for the second time, as she was previously married to Michael Mone.
The former couple have three children together: Rebecca, Bethany and Declan. They confirmed their split in 2011.
Together, Michelle and Michael founded the Ultimo brand in 1999. When the marriage came to an end, Michelle briefly left Ultimo before returning and buying out her husband. She resigned from the brand in 2015, after 17 years of business.
Michelle and Doug share seven children between them, with Doug being a father of four.
Michelle has previously said that her and Doug's shared devotion to family life and passion for business is what has lead to their success as a couple. Speaking to the MailOnline, she said: 'I think because I'm an entrepreneur and he's an entrepreneur we've hit it off.'
'We're both really into our families, and we've become a family, which is lovely.'
