Allen Leech and Jessica Blair Herman tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in California at the weekend.
Downtown Abbey star Allen Leech, who plays Tom Branson in the ITV drama, married his actor girlfriend Jessica Blair Herman, in a romantic ceremony in Santa Barbara, California on Saturday.
The wedding is reported to have taken place on an exclusive estate, with Downtown Abbey co-stars Dan Stevens and Michelle Dockery in attendance.
Guests who also joined to celebrate the couple's happy union included Glee stars Lea Michelle and Darren Criss, and Golden Globe winner Rami Malek. Leech and Malek worked together on Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, with Malek playing Freddie Mercury alongside Allen's portrayal of Freddie's manager Paul Prenter.
Leech and Herman first announced their engagement in February 2018, with Allen posting a photo on his Instagram of the couple beaming at the camera and offering fans a glimpse of Jessica's ring. He captioned the post:
'Happy Valentine's Day @jessicablairherman. First one as a fiancé! Thank you for saying yes and for making me the happiest.'
The star also clarified with fans that the engagement itself had not occurred on Valentines Day, which was the same day the photo was posted:
'(And no I didn't do it today. It's been a while.)'
Jessica also took to Instagram on Valentines Day to share the happy news. She posted a photo of the pair, who have been together for two years, looking very loved-up. The photo was captioned:
'The day you proposed was one of the best days but every day with you is my favourite. I love you! Happy Valentine's Day!'
Allen played the part of chauffeur-turned-gentleman Tom Branson in Downtown Abbey from 2010 to 2015, and will be returning to the role when the movie version is released later this year.
Jessica has starred in US TV shows, including American Crime Story: The People vs OJ Simpson, Fresh Off the Boat and Modern Family.
The pair began dating in 2016, and live together in Los Angeles.
