One Tree Hill star Hilarie Burton marries Walking Dead actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan

TV stars Hilarie Burton and Jeffrey Dean have tied the knot.

The One Tree Hill actress and Walking Dead star took to their respective Instagram pages to share sweet photos of their special day.

Sharing a candid snap with her 866,000 followers, Hilarie wrote, ‘This past weekend was the best of my entire life.’

‘Jeff and I just want to put it out there that WE GOT MARRIED! For real.

‘We’ve lived as husband and wife for a decade. We’ve built a family, and a farm and found our community.’

‘From the moment I met @jeffreydeanmorgan, he was my husband. Rather than make vows right out of the gate, we lived them. For over ten years. The good times and the bad.

‘Standing up there with our children at our sides - celebrating all that has been - was bliss.

‘I love you Jeffrey. I love our intimate group of friends and family who joined us. I love the various circles of loved ones who have supported us over the years.

Jeffrey also shared a selection of sweet weddings snaps with his 2.6 million followers, uploading one adorable picture that included the pair’s two children, nine-year-old son Augustus and one-year-old daughter George Virginia.

Alongside an intimate picture of the happy couple, groom Jeffrey wrote, ‘I’d say words... but there aren’t any. Mrs Morgan.... I love you. Thank you for making me the luckiest man in the world. Xojd’.

Fans and friends rushed to congratulate the pair, with both posts quickly raking up hundreds of thousands of likes.

Hilarie, who is known for playing Peyton Sawyer in One Tree Hill, received sweet messages from her costars Sophia Bush (Brooke Davis) and Bethany Joy Lenz (Haley James-Scott), who wrote, ‘It was perfect. Beautiful. Intimate. Rock n’ Roll. Mischievous. Exactly like the both of you. I love you my sister! ♥️✨♥️✨♥️’ and ‘♥️♥️♥️ It was an amazing night.
