The X Factor star Scarlett Lee has announced to fans on social media that she is engaged.
The 21-year-old, who was one of three finalists competing for the winning title of X Factor last month, posted a picture of the romantic moment on Twitter.
The photo shows her boyfriend, Nathan, getting down on one knee, with the caption excitedly reading: 'Omg! This just happened!! WERE ENGAGED!!!!'
The post has received attention from thousands of fans who have congratulate the couple, who have been together for four years, on their exciting news.
One fan sweetly replied: 'Congratulations Scarlett! May your happiness and joy be full today and always and may it be the beginning of a long and happy life together.'
Another wrote: 'Congratulations, that's awesome. I hope you have many beautiful years together.'
The proposal also received heightened attention due to the fact that it, quite unconventionally, took place in a graveyard.
Scarlett revealed on her Instagram that there was a very sweet reason behind his decision to pop the question there, as it was beside the graves of her late grandparents, who she had been very close to.
Underneath the Instagram post, which was a sweet clip of the proposal itself, Scarlett stated: 'There’s no other place I would rather of done this, my granny and grandad are my whole world and I’ve been so sad they weren’t here to see me on the xfactor but he made this so special I’m so happy.'

The elated former X Factor contestant took to Instagram again last night to show off her gorgeous new engagement ring, posting a photo of her looking cosy and smiling. Scarlett coyly captioned it: 'Does this ring make me look engaged?'
